Wonderful service! Just had 5 Mitsubishi mini splits and a condenser installed last week - I'd wanted to do this for several years. Climate Zone installed my gas furnace in 2015 - flawless experience. Another great job from the initial consultation to the installation. Professional, organized, prompt and neat! The guys who were installing the mini splits explained everything they were doing, asked my opinion on placement, and left my house neater than they found it! No hesitation recommending Climate Zone for HVAC. Also, take advantage of the MASS SAVES energy audit and 0% financing program. I am enjoying all new light bulbs and discounted attic insulation. Climate Zone will help with the paperwork for the equipment rebates - a real plus! Love this company! read more

Never recommend.. Called these people to fix my heating unit. service calls were 115$ and said they would give us a quote before any repair. Technician turned on the boiler switch and heater started working.just for this much work he charged 240$ (less than 5 min) and said it would be fine. without any quotes he charged me 240. I assumed it could have been tripped and I didnt check that. With in two days it broke again, not tripped. Called the company several times.. No response. Honesty is the biggest skill any profession can have..He missed a great opportunity to expand his client base.. read more

STAY AWAY! I was a loyal customer for years, until our last experience. They installed a new central AC system in our house, and in less than 24 hours it was leaking through our ceiling. They offered to come out 'the next day', which was unacceptable. After the initial call to fix the shoddy work, it was a series of attempted cancellations and excuses until it was finally resolved. It turns out the initial installation team didn't replace a pan they should have, and additionally had it pitched/bent the wrong way, so it drained into our house and not outside, as it should. I thought being a loyal customer meant something, but apparently not to this company. If you don't mind chasing people down when they screw up a job, then by all means proceed, but if you want a company that values loyalty, and communicates with their customers, go somewhere else. Additionally, when the work finally was completed, there was no follow up from the office to ensure it was completed to our satisfaction, or offer to repaint our now water stained ceiling. read more

OMG I can't believe the price. HOLY MOLEY! I got an estimate for a new boiler from these yahoos. (oil to gas conversion) Go ahead and call them if you like to burn money. They do 'fixed pricing' to take full advantage of little old ladies who think that CZ can be trusted. Here's the breakdown: Labor/misc: 6000 Additional zone: 200 New Boiler: 900 (national grid subsidy, available anywhere) Old boiler disposal: 250 Remove old tank: 325 Electrical connection: 150 Permits: 150 If more gas pipe than 15' is necessary, god help you. $8000 TOTAL! You can literally get this same job with the same boiler - installed, complete turnkey, with warranty, for a total landed cost for $4400 from a different National Grid listed installer. If they double their price on a job like this, then they're probably always doubling their price. 1-800-RUN-AWAY. If I could give them 0 stars, well, you know.... None of this pricing includes a gas meter or a gas connection to the house. I already have gas connected to the house because of my kitchen stove. This is reflected in both what I paid my plumber (a grid approved contractor in Medford) and the insane crazy-ass price CZ tried to throw at me, $8000. THEY SUCK!!!! read more

We were not happy with our services at all. Worst company ever, would not reccomend to ANYONE. CAN'T BE TRUSTED!!!! BEWARE!!!!!

Our furnace died Friday morning. We tried to get a contractor through our home warranty company with no success. We ended up calling multiple HVAC companies to come out urgently after we found a gas leak Friday night. Mike from Climate Zone was at our house in an hour. He was also very professional and helpful when helping us with our home warranty paperwork. After diagnosing the problem, we were able to get an estimate that night. Laurie and Heather from the Climate Zone office called first thing Monday morning. Within a couple of hours, Rob and Shane were at our house installing a brand new furnace. Because the new unit was so much smaller than our 31 year old dinosaur of a previous furnace, they had to do a lot of refitting the ductwork to fit. It ended up taking all day, but the new furnace is amazing. Laurie is still helping us finish the required paperwork for the warranty service. TLDR- Very responsive, professional, and helpful. Very pleased with this company and their service! read more

After reading these negative reviews I feel that I need to write because I am a very happy customer of Climate Zone. I recently had a new Burnham high efficiency heating system & 2 mini split Mitsubishi AC/heat units installed in my home. The Salesman Bob Sevigny was nothing but professional & very informative. We leaned about the Mass Save program & the rebates from Bob. The girls in the office were extremely helpful & knowledgeable especially about the rebates & the installers, plumbers & electrician were also professional & performed a clean and thorough job. The install was completed in one day. I would definitely recommend Climate Zone to anyone that maybe in need of HVAC work or an install. They have since been back for other unrelated plumbing issues & again I couldn't have been happier with their service! I, myself, would definitely recommend Climate Zone. read more

These reviews that are on this site seem silly and not real. I just had a new furnace and ductless mini split heater/ac unit installed. I couldn't be happier with every aspect of Climate Zone. The sales person who happened to be the owner was very informative and honest. The installers were polite and very thorough. They did everything in one day by 3:00pm. Everything works great and as far as rebates go Climate Zone has helped me and told me what I need to do to get these rebates. They do not give you the rebates or qualify you for the rebates so you can't blame them if you did not receive a rebate. So to the other individuals that reviewed Climate Zone in a bad way concerning rebates YOU ARE BLAMING THE WRONG PEOPLE! You do have to fill out some paperwork and go online and yes it is a bit annoying but worth the time it took to me my rebates. I got back $1900 in rebates. This is a great company that is very professional so I would recommend them to anyone that needs work done!!! read more

Nothing short of terrific! Today of all days, -10 degrees out with the windchill, my heat wasn't working.... Ugh! Worried about frozen pipes,I phoned Climate Zone after hours. The service manager and technician were at my door in less than 30 minutes. Not only did they arrive quickly, they quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem and were very professional and personable while doing so. In addition to the great service, the charges were more than fair. I definitely recommend Climate Zone service and plan to use them for routine maintainence going forward. read more

My furnace was acting up and I could not figure out why. Climate Zone was the only company who answered the phone after hours, and when they did I spoke with Ray - who tried to help me trouble shoot my issue in an effort to save me a service call. Well I did need a service call, and the office called me first thing in the morning to set it up that day. Nick came out the very same morning, quickly diagnosed my issue and ordered the parts. The parts came the following morning and he installed them without a hitch. Nick was extremely knowledgeable and a real pleasure to have in my home. All costs were explained upfront, and I couldn't be happier with the service. read more

Wow I wish I read the reviews prior to going with Climate Zone rather than my local company. I should have been alerted when they started bad mouthing National Grid (the company who referred me to them) about how disorganized they were! Well Climate Zone cashed my check 2 months ago and still hasn't completed the work. Now for a second time I am having to order more oil (min 100 gallons) while I wait for them to come install the gas furnace I ordered and paid for 2 months ago. SAD SAD SAD the only reason I went to this company is cause National Grid did so much advertising to switch to gas and then they refer me to this vendor. Stick with your local oil companies until this partnership gets their acts together! read more

Climate Zone - and especially Nick, the technician - were OUTSTANDING when solving my boiler problem. Worst storm in a century, heat and hot water go out. My daughter and I were freezing and barely able to remain in the house (space heater and oven on all the time!) In December, I had gotten an estimate from a DIFFERENT HVAC company for a $9,000.000 complete rebuild of the heating/hot water system when the hot water temperature started varying. Then, January 2nd, the heat went out. Climate Zone's Nick diagnosed the problem and fixed the problems for ONE TENTH the other companies estimate. He trudged through 20" of snow to get to my crawlspace and made two trips for special parts. He was cheerful, informative and honest. Climate Zone is your best bet! read more

Just had my first experience with Climate Zone and could not have been happier. The gentleman they sent out were both professional and informative. I called on Thursday with a problem and spoke with James and had a new system in place on Friday. The techs were great, they cleaned up their work space before they left and explained everything in detail and with patience. I had a great experience with Climate Zone and would happily recommend them to anyone. Rob, thank you for the extra effort with the thermostat. :-) read more

Climatezone's professionals Jason, Jimmy, Joe and Harry had such great work ethics! They pulled out the previous furnaces and replaced them with Lennox units at our request. They were respectful and worked from 8:30-7 at night. Making sure the 2 furnaces, 2 AC units were removed and installed correctly. They removed the units carefully and delivered them next door so the older units could be used by a neighbor. Although they were unable to get the technology panel to fully engage and it was getting late, they would not have me sign any paperwork until it is to our satisfaction. They do not get paid if the paperwork is not signed. Although they were having difficulty with the smart screen thermostats to sync, they were able to bypass them so we could enjoy the AC until the IT technician arrives next week. They were amazing professionals that made a long day of work into a very pleasant experience! Dream team! Service is why we are return customers! read more

We have had Climate zone install two lots of Mitsubishi slim Jim in our Inn. We have found them to be very professional and supportive. Tim has been our sales person and Joe our latest installer. We found Joe to be very sensitive to the fact that we have a lovely Victorian; he went out of his way with his crew to conceal the duct work and in general we thought they did a great job. We can confidently recommend Climate Zone as a Heat / Air contractor. They have been also very helpful in getting us rebates from the state. read more

We recently purchased a new HVAC system from Climate Zone. They couldn't have been more helpful! The sales person came to our home to recommend a system. We were given several options and he took the time to explain each option and the benefits. We selected a unit that would serve our current and future needs, we were never pressured into purchasing more that what was really needed to do the job. We were assisted with the no finance payment plan with Home Depot and he took care of everything from our home, no visit to the store or additional phone call was required. The installers came on the day and time we were quoted, the job was completed, and our home was left in excellent condition, no clean up was required. We love our new system. I wish I could hire Climate Zone to do EVERY project in my home! They couldn't be nicer or easier to work with! read more

We had our original meeting with the Sales Rep for this company, named Scott Lynch. He spent time measuring our home and making recommendation for what equipment would best suit our heating and cooling needs. Scott also showed us exactly where the units would be placed and assured us that he and his crew would have the installation completed in 1 day! We were a bit sceptible, about his time table but that is exactly how long it took. We were told that nobody on his installation team would leave that day until our job was complete and we were happy with everything. Our job was completed in exactly 1 day! They arrived at 9 AM that morning and finished at about 7:00 PM. The install crew, were hard working, clean and very polite and covered all the floors to prevent tracking in mud etc. I highly recommend this company! read more

Home Depot cannot afford to have disreputable contractors represent them and I took their use of Climate Zone over a large geographic territory as a strong endorsement. I wanted to replace my 30 year old, obsolete Freon based central AC. Their sales representative was prompt, knowledgeable, and effective in follow up as was their customer service rep. Their installation team was on time and most courteous and efficient. They left no debris. The system Climate Zone recommended and installed was properly sized, is much quieter than the old, and runs like a charm. I am very happy with the result and would rate this company at least a four out of five. read more

Had then in on 10/13/14 told them heater had a E12 Error code they said it was fine. Cost $109.00 Then had to call them back on a Holiday night 11/26/14 of course they charged me overtime rate total of $385.24and could not fix because they did not have part in stock. Then had to call them again 11/28/14 and they informed me they had to look for the part and pick it up. Well they charged me $737.50 just for the part you can get this part for $110.00 any where. They claim they had to charge me travel time to get the part. So this visit ended up costing me $661.50 after they gave me a 20% discount which is bullshit. I will not be doing business with this company ever again. I will be call in the better business bureau too. read more

Look for another company, seriously. Shame on Home Depot. Climate Zone is horrible. The sales person is just that, a sales person. The unit would not go where he said it would, the ductwork installation was not what he said and the energy efficient unit is huge and ugly. Had it not been holding up construction I would never have allowed it. I spent $21,000 to air condition the top two floors, they wanted another $20,000 for the first floor. My Master bedroom has only one vent which I questioned and they said not to worry. I'm order to cool it, I have to keep the temp down to 65 and the other 3 bedrooms are freezing. So when I have guest I'm using fans. They came and adjusted the dampers etc. and it did not fix the problem. The owner assured me he would remedy the problem. After we made and appointment he stood me up. I found 27 cigarette butts on my property from the installers too. This is Home Depot's AC installer. I sent Home Depot back my card and cancelled my account with them, shame on Home Depot. Been a miserable summer. Find another company!!!! read more
