Last night, we (party of 3) dined at Click's. Yes, there was a wait of about 45 minutes but it was a Saturday night and if you've eaten here, you'll understand the wait. The waiting area is comfortable, you visit with the other hungry carnivores and time passes fairly fast. The salad bar is always fresh, cold, and clean. There is a huge slab of cheddar cheese, you can slice your very own chunk to nosh with your salad! No one does a salad selection better than Click's! We were seated near the salad bar and I watched the workers consistently refill the salad selections, wipe the bar surface and sweep the surrounding floor (we were a messy bunch!). Two of us had steaks (one medium well T-bone, one rare 24 oz. sirloin). The steaks are divine, juice, flavorful and extremely affordable! I am a steak eater, seriously, a STEAK EATER! Click's is consistently the best steak, cooked to perfection every single time. The piping-hot baked potatoes are fresh and the skins are soft, not crunchy (hate crunchy skins). One of us had the cherry cobbler ala mode. He said it was even better than it looked! If you haven't eaten at Click's . . . WHY NOT! It's a bit of a drive from OKC and I am unsure if they accept reservations. Make a day of it, enjoy the rolling grasslands of Oklahoma. read more

Get here early if you can. Expect a 30-45 minute wait, especially on weekends. Great steaks, and not really that expensive for a quality steakhouse. Make mine a ribeye, medium rare! Steaks come with a decent salad bar and some really good rolls. I've also had the burgers here for lunch, they're great for when you don't want to shell out $18 for a steak. Plenty of other options, seafood, chicken, but I generally can't stray from the steaks. Try and save room for pie if you can! read more

Over rated pretty much sums up my experience. 3 stars is still an ok review according to what the stars mean. Nothing about my visit was bad, but the best thing about it was my salad which is sad for a steak place. Waitress did fine, and salad was great. Everything was off to a great start until my steak arrived. People must mistake giant steak for a good steak. My large steak came, it was cooked to order. Everything is still decent. My issues mostly are that the meat was tough in some places, had a good deal of fat and it's not grilled. Add in the fact I drove from Stillwater because of the reviews and all I could think was I could have gotten a steak better than this at home without the drive. I guess I was looking for something special, something that draws people from as far away as they come. Something to validate everything I'd heard. All of that failed except, yup it's a big piece of meat. So what. Again, overall service, food and price are alright. My experience here I'd say was slightly above average for a typical steakhouse which is why I'll give 3 stars. Not wowed enough to drive all the way back for a return trip though. read more

The water Tasted like dirt and the tea was absolutely no better, there was also eggshells in the boiled eggs on the salad bar. Our waitress was very friendly and our wait was not long. I would think for the $150 dollars we paid for our party of 7 that they could go buy a case of water and serve it to their customers, even the waitress acknowledged their water was horrible. read more

Great steak. The buffet looked awesome. We got the sirloin steak for 2 with carrots and fried okra. I do wish there had been more unfried veggie options to choose from, especially since the lake was turning over and my carrots tasted like the water they'd steamed in. The salad bar was really fresh with lots of options, the soup of the day, navy bean, was tasty and really peppery. I enjoyed the soft rolls with honey butter, and my peach cobbler was pretty good. My husband got the coconut cream pie, which was enormous, though he was disappointed that an hour after opening they were already out of the chocolate cream and tollhouse pies he would have ordered first. read more

A group of us made the hour and a half trip from Oklahoma City to Click's Steakhouse. We passed a few antique stores in Pawnee and I could see how you could make an afternoon out of the trip to the city of Pawnee ending with dinner at Click's which I will have to do on another trip. We got to Click's on a Saturday night around 7 and had to wait for about 30 min. for a table. All dinners at Click's come with unlimited salad and soup. The salad bar was stocked with ample choices of fresh vegetables and toppings. They also had a few other salads and a block of cheese. The soup was a southwestern chicken and was very tasty. I ordered the sirloin with cheese fries. I was very pleased and surprised to the size of the steak when it came out. It filled a large plate. It was grilled and seasoned to perfection. They also cover the stakes in a very flavorful au jus which helped the steak stay juicy when eating it. I boxed up half of the steak so I could have a piece of pie. I got the nestle toll house chocolate chip pie with a scoop of ice cream on top. It was good but not amazing. A friend got the chocolate meringue pie. The meringue was amazing but the chocolate filling was almost tasteless and undercooked. Overall the experience was very good and worth the road trip but I would eat your steak and skip the desserts. read more

Not directing this review toward anything beside the Chicken Fried Steak. Have had the ribeye and fillet, which lived up to all reviews. But that tough chewy slab of over battered beef was terrible. Both of us decided to try the CFS tonight, being we cut our teeth on them south of Red River. Way to much batter, causing the edge to overlap meat making the dish look huge. Will we go back to Clicks? Only for a good steak, salad bar and great service. CFS, probably go to Charleston's in Tulsa for that. read more

The wait staff isn't particularly friendly. When I first walked in I waited at the hostess station for 5 minutes before being helped and could see the wait staff standing around. I'd understand if they were busy, but they weren't. Also, if you're going to work in the service industry you have to at least be able to fake a smile. Having a permanent scowl will effect your tips. No booze either. What sort of steakhouse doesn't have a bar?! The food was just okay. Not worth the half hour drive, but if you're a backwards redneck I bet Click's seems like a nice place. The prime rib stacks up well with the restaurant in Washington D.C. named The Prime Rib. The major difference was not quality or taste, but price. The prime ribs at clicks and fixings are about $22 and tax and tip; we spent more than $150 in D.C. Got much more bang for our buck in Pawnee! A good old fashioned steak house. Pan-grilled steaks, good sides, good salad bar, good home-made pies. This place draws 'em in from miles around. We enjoyed ribeyes with various sides. Located on the main drag in Pawnee. Small town atmosphere and the best grilled Ribeye ever. Cooked to perfection. In my opinion the Ribeye was better than Cattleman's in OKC and any Tulsa steakhouse. The salad bar was fresh and appealing to the eye and stomach. I love tabouli and Click's was very good. My steak come with the choice of baked potato (cheese/bacon/butter/sour cream). Yummy. Great presentation of the Ribeye. After my first bite the rest of the meal was totally ignored. I focused all of my attention on studying my palate with the next bite of steak. The next time I am going to try the Porterhouse. Can't wait. The drive is about an hour from house, but well worth the reward when you take that first bite. At lunch, in addition to the full menu Click's also offers a buffet. The only mild disappointment was Click's homemade coconut cream pie (4 inch high meringue and about 1 1/2 of compacted coconut pudding). I thought the taste of coconut was wanting. It was too cold and that may have affected the texture. I am use to and expected to have my fork gently slide through the meringue and the puffing. Not the case. Perhaps have the pie sit out so the pudding is silky to the fork and merges with the meringue to offer a great taste. I still give 5 stars. read more

But, this bad boy down in Pawnee, Oklahoma is the best little steakhouse west of the Mississippi. Now, I know you are gonna find it difficult to believe a mysterious review on this well-priced eatery. But, man I feel like a new kind of man. I've cried three times in my adult life. When I burnt my hand on a george foreman grill in college, when my second child was born, and when Rachel brought out the most delicately cooked and delicioiusly served sirloin I have ever layed my eyes on. The food was good but I was disappointed because after looking at the menu on line and reviews on line we drove from near Guthrie for lunch only to find out they don't even make the pies(what we drove for) till afternoon. If that is the case they need to put it on the website to save people being upset. Next time I will try and fondue elsewhere. read more

Drove the 45 miles today and waited about 20 minutes for a table. We arrived around 6:30 pm. The wait is about what you can expect, especially on a Friday night. I don't know our server's name but it was an older blonde white lady. We placed our order and went and got our salads. About 35 minutes later the waitress came over and said they haven't done our order because they had some call in orders. Another 15 minutes and I watched as everyone around us got their orders. Never did get a steak. Told her to just charge us for the salad and tea and we were leaving. Since we were the only ones in the place that pulled up on a Harley and were showing tattoos compared to all the cowboys in the place tends to make me think it was nothing short of descrimination. Clicks may be good, but there are lots of places that serve steak that won't treat us that way. read more

Ate here twice. Very popular steakhouse in small town. Ribeye was great. Steak and shrimp was great. Did not care for the Chicken Strips. Salad bar OK. Lots of typical salad bar ingredients and it was fresh. Downside was small salad plates, crowds around the salad bar, salad ingredients spilled in other ingredients. Just didn't appeal to me. The soup was great. Servers were prompt to the point of rushing people. I felt as if management told the wait staff to turnover the customers as fast as possible. read more

I've been going to Clicks since I was a teenager (in our 50's now). We went after church for their hamburgers with my Grandparents who lived in Pawnee. As an adult we drive down every 2-3 months from Midwest City to put flower on graves and eat at Clicks Steakhouse. I've been to a lot of steak houses and Clicks has them beat! Clicks is a wonderful surprise in Pawnee! The atmosphere is exactly what you would expect to find. Rustically restored old building with nice furnishings. I had a simple little lunch steak with a baked potato. The steak was anything but simple. A nice sized ribeye, that almost just melted in your mouth. Others had burgers, nice sized, soft buttery toasted bread...was wonderful. Homemade fresh cut fries! We didn't have a slice of the homemade pies, but they looked like they came straight from heaven. All meals, even the kids plate came with a salad and soup bar plate. The soup was a cream based chicken enchilada Baja, and had a perfect amount of spice. I've waited till the end to leave my one complaint...the salad bar, it is what you would expect to see at a truck stop buffet.
