The Asian Festival in Cleveland is a 2-day event that is perfect for families (including children)…read moreand friends. It is held annually on a small section of Payne Ave., right outside of the Asia Plaza shopping centre. The loo/toilets/bathrooms are also located inside Asia Plaza. I had no problem finding a a location to park my car. There were lots of free parking lots on the corners of Payne Ave. and east 23rd and east 24th streets - these parking lots may change for next year's event so check the Asian Festival website for updated parking information. I visited the festival in May 2023. I was there for 2 days because I assisted one of the booths. My favourite part of the festival was watching all the artistic performances especially the lion dance. There were plenty of food vendors and a few clothing/accessory vendors. The FOOD/drink lines are long for the majority of the festival but thankfully I didn't have to wait in a line for food because the vendor I was with had a friend who waited in line and got us food. I had pork dumplings which were delicious although I normally try not to eat pork. If you really are hungry and you can't wait in one of the food queues, then I suggest walking to Han Chinese Kabob and Grill or Koko Bakery for food. I went to both places (Koko on Saturday for lunch during my break and Han on Sunday for dinner) and enjoyed what I ordered (however, there was a slight delay because both businesses got alot of foot traffic due to the Asian Festival). I did actually wait in line at the festival on Sunday with my 2 friends (I got to leave my vendor shift early) but the line moved quickly. I waited in the natural coconut water line. My friend Olga wanted coconut water so me and another friend waited in line with her. The weather felt really hot all weekend but it was actually only in the 70's (F). For safety, some police officers were at the entrance and exit while also strolling through the festival. What I found slightly strange is that some vendors did not have an Asian theme. For example, the FBI had a table and an Immigration law firm had a table too (haha). I understand that many festivals will always have "out of place" vendors which is fine. Overall, this is a well managed festival and I will be back. **** - 69/150 total reviews in 2023 - 620 total overall Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 7 June 2023

Fun time to see Chinese dancers, martial arts, and shops during the New Year--Year of the Dragon…read more The indoor Asian Plaza isn't very big, but it's big enough to get a sampling of the culture. A few vendors were selling candy, cookies and Jewelry at tables. A Chinese restaurant and pharmacy are here. Take a walk next door to visit the Asian grocery store. This is nice to attend for all ages. Strollers would be difficult. There's not enough in the crowd. Plan an hour. Free.

We had seats in section 341 and it was a nice view. The stadium was nice and most of it appeared well maintained. The rain was intermittent and we had ponchos so there's that. Food was expensive as expected but we did find lower cost options. The lines moved at a good pace. All in all, great experience.

I attended the Brown's draft party/Journey concert at Cleveland Browns Stadium. Tickets were very…read moreaffordable as the Browns season ticket holders got them free and were willing to resell them at value prices. Parking was not an issue as I work downtown and went after work. Admission to the event was about what you would expect; you need to have your electronic ticket available on your phone. The security check was fast and efficient. I was struck by how generic the concourse was; there are plenty of food stands but not a huge variety and there is really no style or anything to see. The bathrooms were clean, but also pretty basic. I was disapointed that the water fountains were not working. I did not see any of the promotional opportunities even though I walked through about half of stadium. My seat was the last row of lower bowl near the Dog Pound end of the Stadium. The seat was comfortable and not too crowded. The concert started about 10 minutes late from the day of start time which was 30 minutes later then the original announced start time. The stage was hard to see for a while since we were looking right into the sun and the stage was very dark. It also did not help that the band members were in dark clothing and were blending into the background. The video screens did help significantly. The sound was pretty good for a stadium show, loud without being oppressive. Journey put on a very good 80 minute show, playing all their hits. I will say the lead singer has a great voice and very energetic stage presence. If you get a chance to see them I would say go for it. Overall Cleveland Browns Stadium looks nice from the outside and inside the bowl, but the concourses could really use some sprucing up. There didn't seem to be a lot of variety in the concessions, mostly the expected stadium food. Pretty much a serviceable modern stadium, but not near the top of the NFL heap.

Ready for a HORROR STORY that makes one wonder what happened to CUSTOMER SERVICE…read more In October 2013, I received delivery of a steel cabinet from the manufacturer (Pucel Enterprises, Inc., of Cleveland, Ohio). After the driver left, I unraveled the shrink wrap and the cardboard covering the corners and top of the cabinet and noticed that the interior of the cabinet was extensively scratched up and the top of the cabinet (above the doors was bent in such a manner that the cabinet was a loss) and could not be used. I immediately contacted the local shipping company (who delivered the item) and informed them of the damage and they told me they would be happy to pick up the damaged cabinet but they needed authorization from Pucel or the firm that I purchased the cabinet from. I called Pucel and they told me, not their problem, contact the firm I purchased it from. Since that time, I have spoken with several companies that do cross country shipping and they have told me that, THIS MATTER IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE SHIPPER. To date, Pucel has sent me ONE can of touch-up paint and told me that that was ALL they were going to do and to pay the vendor and enjoy the cabinet. They also told me that calling them directly was not going to resolve this matter as they were not the responsible party and have no obligation or interest in this matter. Pucel personnel then stressed that they will not replace the NON-useable, damaged cabinet (still sitting in my sitting in my back yard). The vendor has attempted to help me resolve the matter by ATTEMPTING to have Pucel authorize picking up the old cabinet but of course, no action to date. Terrible customer service, don't care about the customer, don't bother us (from Pucel) and they have the nerve to tell me to pay for a damaged, non-useable item. CRAPPY response from a business that uses the punch line, family owned and operated!!
