In 2021, Eric and his company completed a spore/mold mitigation removal to my pool. After draining the pool, Eric's company applied chemical to the surface of the floor. Approximately 5 days later, Eric's company returned to remove the chemical while the pool remained drained. This was when I observed multiple bubbles and craters on the pool surface floor. When Eric was questioned, he stated this occurred as a result of the original builder not applying the correct amount of concrete where the pool floor surface was. Eric refused to take responsibility for the damage he caused to my pool. It shall be noted, the craters and pools were not present before Eric was granted the contract. As you know Florida was just hit by a MAJOR Hurricane. Everyone's power went out for days. Needless to say having a green pool and 4 Kids don't mix! Clermont Pool & Spa came out right away and 24 hours later my kids were exhausted from swimming! Now mommy and daddy can enjoy a little night swim with NO KIDS! We used Clermont Pool & Spa to renovate a pool. It was a large project, we were told it would take 4 months. We new that was unlikely, however it took two years from the time we signed the contract until there was water back in the pool and even at that time the entire project was not complete. After two years, it was another 6 months for them to properly work the system. Needless to say, there were promises never fulfilled and Eric never closed the permits when he stated he had. We had to refile when selling our home and close the permits at OUR expense. Eric Clawges, the owner was fine at communicating prior to contract signing and first month of waiting for architectural engineering and then it was downhill from there. He prematurely drained the pool and began the demo before Christmas 2016, it wasn't even through engineering and permitting. The pool wasn't touched from that phase until April 2017. It became a mesquito and frog pit. Two years later, the pool had water in it again, yet the entire project was still not complete. It appears they are also part of a franchise, One Stop Pool Pros 7 and both businesses are under DBPR, registered under Eric Clawges. Do yourself a favor, find another contractor to build or renovate a pool and save yourself a lot of time and frustration. read more

The service is the worst I have ever had to deal with. Have had trouble with them from day one with building my pool. Paid for water feature that does not work. have a crack in copping they haven't fixed. They say they will return calls and they don't. Called today wensday to ask about the call they where going to give me last Friday. Was told we are working on a plan. I asked when will you let me know I was told I don't know. Still have problems with air in system from day 1. Don't know if pipes are even glued together underground. I had to show them pipes that where not glued above ground. Would not let them build a bird bath. The problem is they just don't care. It shows in there service. read more

Hired this company close to 2 years ago for a major pool renovation. The project completion was promised almost 1.5 years ago and we are still dealing with a major issue of poor workmanship. The owner Eric Clawges has been promising he will make it right for close to a year and NOTHING has happened. Now it's to the point where he leaves us hanging and won't take our calls. We had to cancel other phases of the project and seek other contractors based on the poor organization, and overall horrible workmanship provided by them. We paid over $50,000 cash on time and held up our end of the deal, They deceived us towards the end of the project causing us to have to pay a sub direct to complete the screen enclosure essentially making Clermont pool and spa paid in full...That's about the point when the endless promises of making this right started and they quit caring. We are close to a year now of hearing those promises and nothing has been done. We can't seal the flagstone surface as it should be because they failed to complete the repairs, we have major deck drainage issues. All of these things were pointed out when they started and could have been corrected, I can go on and on and on. Bottom line don't hire this company or Eric Clawges for anything period! He and they do not complete promised jobs and have every single excuse you could possibly could think of as to why. Absolutely disgusted dealing with him and them. read more

Canceled with them within less than a month because they decided instead of adding salt to our very expensive salt to chlorine pool, they would just add chlorine until the levels were correct. Shocked the pool several times and on one occasion left a note saying they added no chemicals. I only found out because I called and complained that there was a film on the top along with leaves and bugs in our screen enclosed pool. Imagine if I decided to take a swim in a just chemically shocked pool! This company also has horrible communication. They are very timely to charge you but if they overcharge you or skip a week cleaning your pool because someone is out sick, they will still charge you for that week and it will take days of calling to get a refund as the one person who does the "accounting" works sporadically, comes in late and leaves early, so don't think you will ever get to speak with her even if you leave several messages for her to call you back. It took nine business days to get final refund after calling over and over again. It only took one cleaning from new pool company and pool looks a thousand times better than when they did their most pristine cleaning. read more
