Although that was a red flag, I decided to give a try since they guaranteed at least eighty percent of the spots to be removed. However, even the dirt from the pool floor wasn't removed, which makes me question whether it was properly vacuumed. That was discussed prior to the start of work, and I was assured this would be completely taken care of. Brittany is super nice, however I found the labor insufficient unfortunately. Today I had the pleasure of interacting with the owner, who parked his company van in a way that completely blocked the view of oncoming traffic for anyone trying to exit the community. The car ahead of me struggled to get out, so I rolled my window down and let him know he was blocking visibility at an actual intersection. His response? "What do you want me to do?" I suggested the obvious: pull up a little so people can see. He said he couldn't because it would block the guest lane. I suggested pulling to the other side. His response? That would block the resident lane. Here's the fun part: there was no one in either lane and still about 100 feet of empty space in every direction. But apparently, basic spatial awareness and public safety were too much to ask. So instead, the owner of this company chose to block an intersection, argue about it, and refuse to move--despite being told it was dangerous. I still couldn't see oncoming traffic, and when I finally made a left turn, I almost got T-boned. If this is how this man handles a simple, common-sense situation--being made aware that he's creating a legitimate safety hazard--I can't imagine trusting him with heavy equipment, construction, or something as basic as pool maintenance. I wouldn't trust him to dig a hole in my backyard, let alone manage a pool, even if he were the last option on Earth. Unprofessional, inconsiderate, and wildly irresponsible. Hard pass.

However there was some follow-up that needed to be done, they came out a few times for repairs that I had a warranty on but never really solved the issue! I tried calling, texting, leaving VM, Nada!!!! That's when I decided to check on Yelp again and give it one more try! I came across Pool Sharks pool service. Called Andy up, he responded very quickly via VM. When we finally were able to speak, Andy came over the same day we spoke, probably within minutes, as he was already in my area. Charged me the service call fee, which was very reasonable. The last company had a difficult time getting my vacuum to clean the pool, there was no flow going through my salt cell, it was a mess. Pool starting to turn green pretty quickly! Andy came over, took the motor apart, started cleaning the motor, discovered that leaves were getting in the propeller, or something like that? Taught me how to put the basket back in so that it doesn't happen again! Made it easier for me to take the Filter cap off so that I'm not spending 10's of minutes trying to put the cap back on, which can take up to an hour trying to align the steel rod back into its groove!! If anything, just that one little trick was worth the service fee!! He really went above and beyond!! Needless to say, I will be using Andy for all my pool service needs!! We had Doc Dean Pools for years. Issues are never their problem no matter what it is. It still was not looking clean at all after two weeks!!! We actually had to move our party to an another venue!!! This was not their problem again, and again.
