We went to Clementon Park, yesterday. The website has $29.99 tickets advertised, but these are for purchase at the door. 60 years and older are $19.99. What they don't have advertised is that there are only a handful of rides open. However, there are two pool like areas that are open. There is a season pass offered. I hadn't been to this park in 30 yrs. So, I was not sure that I wanted a season pass. However, after being there and seeing how the 'pool' areas function, I was ready to purchase. They allow you to pay the difference of your admission ticket. I went to three windows at guest services and I still was unable to purchase the season passes. Needless to say, me and my family will not be returning. Unfortunately, we didn't get to experience everything and my children were looking forward to it. If I had to describe this "Park" in one word it would be Dilapidated. Excluding the water park area, there were only four (4) working rides in the entire park. Everything else was literally out of service (see photos). This is prime time for visiting and this many nonworking rides?! How is the only rollercoaster in the park out of service! Sea Dragon - out of service! Marry-Go-Round - out of service! Kiddie pool slide out of service with dilapidated ship! The list of broken rides goes on and on! There was a section of rides for smaller children but the entire section was closed. I saw workers sitting around doing nothing. Like they were just waiting to clock out. The lazy river was "meh" if you could find a tube to float in. There were not enough tubes to accommodate the waiting visitors. It got so bad that parents were literally arguing and pulling tubes from other visitors. The staff was not regulating any of it. It was a disaster. I kid you not, there were roughly 30 tubes to 80 people waiting. The food catered to the SAD (Standard American Diet) and was over priced. One order of fries and six chicken nuggets cost a total of $24. You notice that price doesn't include a drink right? Tah! That's another separate price and they don't give you a lid or a straw! My daughter enjoyed the wave pool. That seemed to be the highlight for her. Other than that, and the one other splash area that was open, they can keep this place. I never liked this place as a child. I thought it was too small and not enough rides and today it's much worse. There's really no point in coming here unless someone treats you and you didn't have to come out of your pockets. They really need to shut this place down if they aren't going to fix the rides. They need to get rid of all the dilapidated rides from the 70s/80s and rebuild the park from scratch. It really makes me wonder what they are doing with the money families spend to come here because they aren't putting any of it into fixing up the place. read more

We even checked the website prior to going and knew some attractions would be closed but not to this extent. Park is old and tired. I had my chairs forcedly take by a very demanding person. I reported it's and asked security to keep an eye. We moved to another spot with empty chairs.Next thing you another person from this gang of bullies came all the way our new spot. Thin person decided now she's should cuss me an verbally abuse me! One thing she's said I was a white raciest Bitch. The security did nothing! The average age of the children look to 15 or 16. I went to the only person of age there that was at the guest services (it isn't really guest service. It's just something with a name) she was absolute useless, not able to do anything. She was able to tell me she was sorry. So now I have a gang of people after me. I had to call the police and alert them of the situation because the children and the useless woman could not handle anything. At this point I was in fear. I was very upset and wanted to get out. I was afraid to go in the parking lot I was afraid to stay in the park. Looks like all the police they started to leave me alone. But I'm still very frightened from all the harassment. Please don't go there a very scary place. They should tell they tell you not to bring weapons and I can see why. I wouldn't doubt if these people had a weapon. read more

What a wonderful day we just had at Clementon Park Splash World! I had forgotten this even existed until a friend suggested we go. Tickets were very reasonable (I believe they were $25) it was not overcrowded, and everyone in the park seemed happy and like they were having a good time! Very positive atmosphere. The employees were friendly and helpful and the lifeguards were on their game! There was a lot of them too! This is going to be a regular part of my summer from now on! read more

It was a blast. I got a season pass so I can come anytime. I love relaxing and tanning and dipping my legs in the water for hours and this place was perfect because their pool chairs were adjustable. The Authentic birria tacos were a plus bc I don't really like to eat burgers and fries or wings! Made it feel really homey and family orientated! read more

I've been going to this park since I was a child. That's probably before many of you were born! The park has changed a lot over the years. Most of the rides have been replaced by a waterpark now. The waterpark is decent, A season pass is cheaper than a pool membership, so I bought passes for my daughter and I. She likes the wavepool and the lazy river, and she's just getting into the waterslides now. It's nice way to blow a few hours and cool off in the process. But, I'm really disappointed with the rest of the park. I miss the old rides, like the whip and the big, old-style bumper cars that I loved as a kid. I miss the flying saucers. I was excited to hear that the park was adding 4 new rides this year. Actually, bringing back old ones like the Scrambler and the Tilt-A Whirl, which is fine with me. I like those. But as of the last weekend in June, the Scambler is still the only new ride that's open. The Tilt-A-Whirl hasn't been opened, and neither has the kiddie coaster that was also promoted as part of the new attractions. In addition, I haven't seen the log flume operating even once this year. I think they've given up on it for good? Seems like everything outside of the waterpark is getting run down and falling into disrepair. Very disappointing for me, personally. read more

On multiple occasions The bathrooms wreaked of weed. As well as various parts of the park. This place has really gone down hill. Idc if ppl smoke weed but I feel it should be kept out of family places like this.. I really didn't need my 8 & 10 year old kids to experience that. Guests pushed and shoved to get ahead in line. None of the staff care about keeping the lines out people orderly. One guest even tore the surf mat from my kids hands right in front of staff members who did nothing about it. Our day started off a little rough. I have a toddler and an infant. They wouldn't allow me to bring in a sippy cup with juice or water, and no snacks at all. Which if you are a parent you can relate to why this may be a little on the frustrating side. To top this off I have celiac disease and have to use the Fodmap diet too. So we brushed it off our best and went to the food stands they have. Needless to say they don't have anything my children or myself can eat or will eat. The rest of my family spent $65 on two things of fries, two hot dogs and a chicken sandwich. We then just tried to redirect the day by going into the water. The water park was great no complaints at all. I would maybe even go back just for the water park. The amusement park on the other hand... if I could rate this place a one for just that side I would... it's beaten down, broken rides left and right and just nothing was working, and when they were it was horrible because staff didn't know how to work the ride. The staff was also not very friendly and seemed to not really have any idea how to work the rides or even like any knowledge about why some rides weren't working and others weren't very up to date on any regular information. I've been buying season passes since Clementon reopened... they still don't have all the rides open. Some of the rides that were open have been closed all season little disappointed that they don't clean up the goose droppings in the water park area. Ask them to do it a couple weeks ago when we came in and they did sweep it up, which was nice. Came back the next week, and it was all cleaned up before People, enter! This week was the worst week. Goose droppings smashed and walked all over drug in and out of the water park. I know some can't be helped and that they do Treat the water, but.... Disappointed this season! read more

I went here this past weekend. It's not far from Philly which is a plus for distance. It's mainly a water park. The big water slides have long rides. A lot of the non water rides weren't working. If the weather isn't nice I don't really see a reason to go. Like any other theme park the food and drinks are expensive. Overall it was a nice smaller theme park to go to, but as I said it's not worth it on a day you can't get wet. There were also a lot of flies. Some friends told me about this water park located just 30 minutes north of Philly, so I decided to take the drive. My family and I decided to come on a hot Tuesday hoping it wouldn't be too packed. This worked in our favor as we had purchased tickets online and were able to get 50% off. At first site the rides looked a bit old, so we decided to take our luck to the water park side instead of the roller coaster side of the park. The cool thing is you only need one ticket to enter and from there you can choose which side of the park you'd like to attend. Once choosing a park side I had a decent time getting on the water slides. It wasn't until we reached the floating river that our experience began to take a dive. Since it was Tuesday there were only a handful of patrons in the park which was great bc that meant NO lines. Unfortunately, once in the floating tube area, the lifeguard informed us that we had to exit the pool as we could only go around once. Mind you. Outside of the three people in our family, there were only 5 other people, IF THAT in this pool. I instantly felt my excitement for this place plummet as I explained to the staff member that there were only 8 of us total in this HUGE circular river pool. Instead of being understanding he stated "those are the rules". This immediately took my experience from a 8 to a 1. We exited the pool and made our way over to the wave pool. This was a bit better as my spirits began to pick up a bit more until 10 minutes later not once, but TWICE everyone was forced to get out of the pool bc someone allowed one of their 5 year old child who couldn't swim to enter the 6ft deep portion of the pool without a life vest or parental supervision. All in all my experience was okay. The most exciting part was paying half price for our park tickets. Outside of that I think I'll try different water parks before returning to this one. So my boyfriend's friend had made plans with us to take the kids to a water park since we've been going through heat waves lately and he decided to go to clementon park. Since I've never been here before and there were deals on groupon I didn't mind. I have my nieces , nephew, and step daughter visiting for the summer so savings us a few bucks would be good. This park is more of a kid friendly park with, less dry rides and more water rides . It's very small compared to dorney park and hurricane harbor. Also with very little games booth. I enjoyed my time on the water side since it was extremely hot and humid. But was very disappointed when some of the water rides were shut down . After changing and deciding to go on rides on the dry side , it was very upsetting because there were some rides that was shut down as well . Some of the rides was already shutting down before closing time. For the size of the park it would be nice if all the rides were working. Saving was good but if you paid full price it wouldn't be worth it . The bathroom was very dirty and disgusting. Food service was horrible . Seating tables was very dirty . Nobody cleans it after used . I had to wipe down the tables myself and couldnt even sit there after because the table was surrounded by bees . They were giving my boyfriend and our friend a hard time when trying to ordered food , looking at them like they came from out of space. I didn't enjoyed it much . I would probably only return back to use the water park if I don't feel like driving far and wanted to take the kids out again for a quick swim . Clementon Park is by far the most "fun for the value" water park near Philly. What I mean by that is for a great price you get a typical water park (lazy river, a couple splash play areas, wave pool, water slides, and one thrill water ride) all for the price of...wait a minute...drum roll... $10. Don't run all at once, lol. For this amazing price you have to arrive on a Monday after 4pm. Keep in mind it's not the best water park ever, but it gets the job done and my kids always have fun. But they also have twilight discount any day of the week. Don't know the price. I believe the regular price for both Parks is pretty affordable also. Don't know the price for that either. Sometimes Groupon has a $20 ticket, last year they did. Also if you're a member of PFT you can purchase online and get a discount. Overall, my kids, nieces, and nephews have a blast. We didn't use water park section so this review is only for the rest of the park. This park is definitely smaller than other amusement/water parks we have been to. It is only a hand full of rides you can use. The rides seem to be a bit outdated and rusty. Coming from cash free Dorney park my dumb self didn't think of bringing cash or debit card with me to this park. Well, most of the places are cash only here. And the ones that take credit cards had their credit card machines "broken". Needless to say my family could not enjoy some things including cold slushies in 100 degree weather. My daughter said that some of the ride operators were very rude for no reason, and she is a shy and not acting out kid. I used to work on the boardwalk and I know how it feels to deal with people every day. But I also think if you hate your job, find another one. Otherwise make an effort to be nice to people, kids especially. Final thought - most likely not coming back here. read more

Unfortunately Yelp makes you give this place a star to write a review. This place does not deserve it at all. A BEE-tiful day was ruined at this place. I would not come back a second time. This place is horrible. This park should not be called Clementon Park & Splash World. It should be renamed Clementon Park & BEE world. There are BEES EVERYWHERE. We couldn't even eat at the tables because the BEE's were attacking us. We had to move to the smoking area to eat our food standing up. My 6 year old son was waiting in the line to get on the swings and was stung by a BEE. After going to multiple places we finally found the First Aid trailer where they had a cup labeled BEES. Obviously, people getting stung by the BEE's in this place is normal. Also, There are only 4 waterslides. We were done with them in an hour. The wave pool was not that great, the lazy river did not open until 1pm and there was no attendant to monitor people getting in/out of the ride so of course people skip the line and went straight into the pool. The poor lifeguard had to leave her spot to try and stop the chaos. When it was time to change our clothes we were horrified. The bathroom/changing area smelled like an out house. The showers & floors are gross. I'm pretty sure it's a violation with the health department. There is mold/mildew all over the place. Obviously, this place hasn't been cleaned all summer. Probably not last summer either. First we hit the rollercoaster, which is right by the entrance. The ride itself was very jerky and not fun. Maybe it comes down to preference, but I'd rather have a rollercoaster be fast and smooth. I had no desire to go on it a second time. Aside from the rollercoaster, the rides are largely the kind you would find at a local carnival. Kids would probably have fun, but I wouldn't recommend visiting with a party of just adults. Some rides have a minimum capacity to run, so you aren't necessarily making out well if you visit on a very lite day. Prices are what you would expect (very high, 2 slices of pizza and a soda cost me around $15), and unless you're coming with a large group you aren't allowed to bring your own food. If you're going to be drinking a lot throughout the day it's probably worth purchasing the collectible cup (around $10) and paying $1.25 for refills. I didn't go out of my way to look, but it didn't seem as if alcohol is sold at the park. I did not visit the water park, but I've heard from kids that the slides are very fun. read more

Very disappointed. Took family with two children today to the water park and theme park. First of all, 50 cents for a glass of tap water? Seriously? This has to be the first place I've ever been charged for a glass of tap water in my life. It isn't about the 50 cents...it's the principle of it. That was unbelievable. Second, and maybe even more important was the complete lack of care or enthusiasm displayed by ANY of your employees. Every single ride operator and every single food vendor worker looked EXTREMELY upset and down. And better yet, EXTREMELY slow. Many lines we stood in with maybe 6 people ahead of us. Even with such a small line, it was still usually a 20 minute wait. Literally no ride or food vendor had a long line, but the workers behind the counter were moving so incredibly slow on everything I swear we spent 3/4 of the day waiting in very small lines. I walked through here clutching my epi pen like it was a sword. Serious bee problem. REALLY BAD, cannot reccomend to anybody with a bee sting allergy. Seruously I was petrified. I understand it's outside and bees will happen, but I've never seen this level of bees at a park. It was like a horror movie. That being said the park itself was okay. My kids were 9 and 6. The 9yo who is a thrill ride fan was pretty bored. Six year old had a great time. It's a small park but again good for smaller kids. This place needs to make sure they advertise for kids because that's what its for. Only 1 or two rides where an adult would have a good time. The good: Variety of rides, fast ones, slow ones. A good size park where you can ride very single ride in one day and repeat your favorites. The 3 pools are probably the best thing in there, parents can just sit back sun tan or sit in the water and let the kiddos run around. Rides are safe (except the wooden coaster, simply put: stay away), staff is extremely friendly. They pretty much let the kids have as much fun as they can but if someone gets out of line then they escort him out. I saw this happen in one ride, the kid was jumping during the slide. Also season pass prices are cheap as long as you take advantage of them and go at least 3-4 times. They even have some dry rides for little ones. My 1 year old had a blast! Bathrooms were clean. Season passes comes with coupon book with a few free things like tickets to ballparks. Also comes with a .99 cent refill bottle. The bad: Maintenance could be better. I work in maintenance so my eye goes straight for it. I really hope management sees this part of the review. Season pass registration room is a very small room with like 40 people inside. Doors always opening and closing and the room has a window air conditioner unit which was doing nothing. I took it upon myself to pop the filter out and behold there was like 2 pounds of dirt on the filter. NEVER BEEN CLEANED BEFORE. I mean come on maintenance!!!!!!!! I cleaned it with my own hands and banged it on the floor under a table. The a/c was much colder after that and the air was safe for my kids to breath. The black tube water ride looks like its never been cleaned on the outside. Some features of certain rides were not working correctly. A few other minor things I can't remember right now. We were unable to take in food for my 1 yr old. He can eat a variety of foods but on a day of running around and burning energy I want him to eat something healthy not a pizza. I've waited to write this - figured for something like a local amusement park deserved a season's pass before reviewing. First off, I will not be getting passes again next year. The best part of this park is the Wave Pool - and that lacks sufficient seating and places to "camp" to make it enjoyable. The Prices as a whole are as high, if not higher than the "big parks". The total cost of an afternoon here makes me question why I just don't 'make a trip of it' and do the larger parks. The park is generally "run down". I see they try to maintain but the park just isn't designed for, nor staffed to deal with the crowds. Lines in the water park are LONG, every time I've gone. Especially on any of the "family friendly" things - with no crowd control. And they have the WORST Roller Coaster I've encountered in the country. Yes, they have a sign that warns that it is "aggressive". That is not the correct word - it is VIOLENT. Something should have warned us when the wait was only 15 minutes, and no one getting off was smiling, or laughing or anything. I've never been on a wood/hybrid coaster that shook, twisted and banged riders as much as this one. Their restraint system does nothing for the upper body, and riders slam their heads and arms into one another. Most everyone I've talked to has said - I will never go on that coaster again. For such a large investment of space and resources, I really don't understand it. If we do season passes again to a smaller "local" park, we'll be looking at Dorney I believe. the park now has a big wave pool and torpedo rush. Im excited went there 4 times already got season passes. The big wave pool goes up to 6 foot and when it waves its about 7 the deepest part. Only new problem I found about the wave pool is that everyone is trying to 'swim' in the pool.... which means you might get kicked or splashed in the deeper parts. A wave pool is so when the waves come you can bounce in the water not swim.... I think anyway. But it is a relief because the Lazy river is not a 'pool' so this is good. I love this place now. I love that this historic park is so close. The prices are fair and if you stop in the Dollar General in the shopping center next door, you can grab a $10 off coupon. Arrive after 4 pm for discount pricing too. We went one Saturday morning and my girlfriend's son. It was his first time at an amusement park and he we deathly afraid of EVERYTHING. We were so sad to leave 30 minutes after entering the park. The management gave us tickets to come back, which was really nice. On the second time around, we did just about every ride....well I did the "suicide slide" in the water park and the roller coaster on my own. Both were awesome and a heart pumping thrill. Behind the park is a beautiful lake. The slide is in the water park. Walk up about 4 stories of stairs and they lock you in a cylinder. The countdown goes...3...2...1 and the door opens from under you and down you freefall! It's so scary, but a great thrill! The roller coaster is a wooden old fashioned rail that rocks you all over the face with steep drops and slick turns. I think it is one of the best wooden coasters I've been on. Don't believe all the negative news you hear about this place. Support your local business and have a great time with your family. Keep this park alive and thriving! read more

I recently attended a family reunion in the Deptford, NJ area and as our family activity we went to Clementon Park. This was my first time to the park and it wasn't anything spectacular. I'm originally from Florida so I'm use to attending theme/water parks like Busch Gardens, Islands of Adventures, the Disney World parks, Wet n' Wild, and Wild Waters so I was kinda disappointed. I didn't do the water rides so I can't speak of that side of the park, but the amusement park section had like five rides. I went on all five and was done in almost 45 minutes. The positive was that the lines were short so getting on the rides didn't take long at all. For a small park they had a good couple of thrill rides. The Sea Dragon was my favorite. The best part of the park were the group accommodations. There is a big section of pavilions for groups and the park allows patrons to bring in outside food. People brought in their grills and were cooking out inside the park. Not to mention, as part of the group package you are provided a wristband that allows you to eat hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken, potato salad, baked beans, and drink as much as you want. Not sure how much the group prices are or how many you need, but this seems like a good deal! Overall, if you live in the area and just want to get out of the house Clementon would be a decent and reasonable family outing. read more

The staff here seemed young but they were excellent! Customer service with a smile, they were pleasant, & super attentive in splash world especially the wave pool. My daughter is only 5yo so I was a bit anxious at first but after a short time had complete confidence in her safety. It didn't matter if you were at the games, security check points, rides, or water park, customer service got an A+! Some of the rides were down due to inspections for memorial weekend but they compensated us for that too Great day til the clouds rolled in but it was a put time to go anyway. I lost my phone for for over 3 hours and if it weren't for Clementon park I wouldn't found it

This year we got the season pass to Clementon park for the first time and it was the first time we actually been to the park. Usually we go to Dorney Park but its quite a ride. My kids had fun and that was a plus. The park is pretty clean and I was impressed with the bathrooms compare to other parks. I recommend to get the season pass because they give you a book of coupons to be used in the park and you get a souvenir bottle that you can refill for .99 cents. The main thing that bother me was nothing healthy to eat either you have to buy their disgusting food or go out of the park to the picnic area and bring your own food. The pizza was the only meal that was decent. On top the security check your bags for food!!! Not weapons, Food!!!! Ridiculous. I had a couple of fruit snack bags in my purse for my toddlers to snack and they took it out and told me to take it back to the car. For real FRUIT SNACKS. This was a major let down. Too uptight! I bet if I had a knife they wouldn't had notice cause they where too busy looking for food. Pros - affordable, very clean bathrooms, not so packed Monday thru Thursday Cons - Food is terrible, lots of ghetto people, you can't bring snacks. Overall is not bad for the price and for a very hot day, if you don't mind the ghetto people and the security guards checking your bags for food then your good to go. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays way too crowded for me, the days that I enjoyed it the most where Monday thru Thursday. read more

Saturday was our first visit to Clementon Park & Splash World. I chose to visit this park because I had a groupon that was 50% off the regular ticket price. Bottomline I will not be returning nor would I recommend this to a friend. It was not terrible and my son still had a great time but there were things that I did not agree with that will keep us from returning. First, everyone must pay admission. And I mean EVERYONE. It says it right on their website that even "non riders" must pay. They do have a reduced rate for children under 48" but I think its still too much. I think that the 50% off rate that I paid with the Groupon is still a bit much for my 18 month old. I think that there should be a greatly reduced rate for children under 4. There is only so much they can do! They're little! Second, they have a no outside food or drink policy. I understand this, however I think that acceptions should me made for small children. While my son is able to eat pretty much any foods, I don't want him eating the greasy foods that are served in an amusement park. We did pack a picnic lunch and went out to the car to eat. We had planned to picnic at the tables that the park provides but the bees were so bad that we ended up eating in the car. Also we attempted to bring in a reusable waterbottle to the park but were told we had to pour out the water before we could enter. Not that big of a deal but I didn't see one water fountain while I was there to re-fill our water bottles. Third, the "clientel" that was at this park was a bit rude. Going through security at the gate to get bags checked was completely disorganized and choas. People were pushing and cutting in front of other people. The employees act oblivious and let it happen. Fourth, once you are in the park it appears to be cash only yet no where is that posted (that I saw). So after waiting in line to purchase a locker, we were told it is cash only. We had to get out of line, walk to the ATM (which charges a typical $3 fee by the way) to get cash so that we could get back in line (which had doubled in length while we were gone). Fifth, While getting in and out of the lazy river there is a step down that will catch you off guard. My SIL and I both nearly fell getting in and out because there is nothing to alert you of this. There is some black tile on the step but it just looks like a design on the bottom, it's not enough to alert you of the step. Sixth, It claims to be a smoke free environment yet there are large smoking areas in the park that are right next to areas that you need to walk past/through to get to other areas. Seventh, it is a family friendly envornment yet that have a bar that serves alcohol? This just seemed a little odd to me. Like I said above, my son still had a great time so it wasn't a complete waste of trip but because of the above mentioned items, we will not return here. read more

I loved going here as a kid and I am glad to see that Clementon Park and Splash World are still operational. This place is a great small amusement park. Modestly priced, but for a good reason. The park is small but big enough to enjoy the whole park. Let's just say it's a permanent carnival with a water park. I came with my immediate family and we had a blast. The prices aren't too bad considering six flags and dorney prices. It was clean. We arrive soon as it open at 11 so it was barely anybody there. No long lines throughout the day but the water park was kind of crowded due to the heat. It's barely any dry rides but the ones that are there was pretty cool.
