It looks great but the price for non residents it's a lil crazy for that I'll get season passes to Dorney park and swim there.

First of all, I think the price is a bit high for the little it includes. I think it was $12 per kid (adults free) but all that gets you is access to the climbing/slide area. You have to buy a card for all the games, rides and other activities. However, it was nice to let our kids run around for a bit, although of course they didn't want to spend time in the climbing area when there were games and other attractions all around. One other nice thing is you can leave and come back all day long. We choose to grab lunch elsewhere and come back for some more fun. Don't think I would be back but happy it was available when we needed somewhere to go!

There were other attractions but I didn't make note although I do recall that there was a basketball court and free standing gaming consoles. What I liked most is that there are private areas to gather in. Also, I did try the pizza, wings and fries - they weren't anything special but they were good... My favorite part of the experience was the customer service - every associate that I interacted with was friendly, professional and most importantly, helpful!

It's a pretty big space with a lot of variety - displays, plenty of Legos to build with, a classroom, and a mini movie theater that we didn't get to check out, but think they might like it too. Definitely pricey, but the kids enjoyed themselves, which is great. Would try it again with them. This place is amazing for toddlers and parents. There's a good size indoor playground, LEGO everywhere, several slides, a movie theater, and even a LEGO themed ride. When we went, it wasn't crowded at all, which made the whole experience even better. I've always wondered how my 2 year old would do in a movie theater, and this was the perfect place to try it out. Though to be fair, a 12 minute movie is probably a lot easier than a 2-hour one haha. But still, such a great way to test it out without any pressure. He LOVESSS it! There's also a cafeteria inside. The food was okay, nothing special, but it's convenient. Most of the staff were very friendly. The only odd moment was when I asked a staff member to take a photo of Lego Santa, my son, and me. He said he doesn't want to touch phones. I was a little taken aback since there's hand sanitizer everywhere, and thought staff would try to help out a much as they can. Overall, we had a really great experience and were so happy we decided to come. Perfect spot for toddlers, especially on a day when you want something fun, easy, and indoors!

The arcade is very big and there's a lot of options that would make little kids happy. It's a good place to bring younger kids to kill half a day in the arcades or other amenities, like for a morning and early afternoon run. Or just swing by for a couple of hours before lunch at the arcades and other little attractions there. I wouldn't say it's a more exciting way to spend the day than going to the attractions at American Dream or anything like that. But it's a great place for simple fun and enjoyment on a smaller scale if you don't feel like doing more than just keeping kids or teens occupied for a few hours.

I have been coming to Knoebel's almost every summer since 1979. I have watched it change and grow,…read morebut what's remarkable is how much it has stayed true to itself. It is still family owned. It still feels personal. It still feels like the kind of place built for joy rather than spreadsheets. Knoebel's has one of the most unique setups of any amusement park in the country. There is no admission fee. None. You pay only for what you want to ride, or you can get an all-day wristband on weekdays. Parking is free too. You can bring in your own food and non-alcoholic drinks without any hassle. The food they sell is good and affordable, and the variety is incredible. This is not frozen burger-and-fries territory. Knoebel's regularly wins the Golden Ticket Award for Best Food, beating out giant, big-budget parks from across the nation. And it is not just the food that gets recognition. The Phoenix, a masterpiece of a wooden roller coaster rebuilt from the bones of a coaster in Texas, has been named the Best Wooden Coaster in the world more than once. The Haunted Mansion is consistently ranked among the best dark rides anywhere. These rides are not nostalgia pieces coasting on reputation. They are legitimately great. Add in the one-of-a-kind Flying Turns, the steel thrill of Impulse, the twisting chaos of Twister, and the wonderfully unpredictable Flyer, and you have a lineup that would stand out even in parks five times the size. The park's setting is part of its magic. It is nestled in the mountains, shaded by towering trees. On hot days, the shade makes all the difference. The paths wind like a midway at a state fair, and in fact, that is what Knoebel's most closely resembles: a permanent state fair where you are not constantly being wrung for every dollar. It is relaxed, welcoming, and wonderfully unpolished in the right ways. It is dog friendly, which means you can bring the whole family, four-legged members included. For those who want to stay overnight, there is an on-site campground with everything from tent sites to cabins, as well as the Crystal Pool for swimming on hot summer afternoons. Knoebel's has been part of my life for over four decades, and it remains my favorite amusement park in the world. I love being able to watch my sons create memories on some of the same rides I loved at their age while exploring new additions together. It is proof that you can grow and improve without losing your heart. Every year I leave with the same thought: I cannot wait to come back.

We went there for the first of their Halloween nights and it was decorated really nice. I was impressed and we had our granddaughter with us so we spent a lot of time in the children's area for the rides and we were able to get her in on a few big people rides, which was very nice. We did want to go on the haunted train, but it was closed, which was kind of strange They do have plenty of food selections and it seems their prices are just a little bit on high side for what they offer and what portion you get so I would walk around and take a look and see what you really really want and the pricing but the food that we had was freshly prepared. It was good worth the money no The lines were not that long at times we were able to go on the rides pretty much when we walked up to them until it started to get more in the evening and the rides got a little bit longer lines, but it move very fast. The rides are in great shape. They're very well lit very very nice looking Parking on the other hand, we forgot where we parked and it took us a lot to find our vehicle so make sure when you park you look at the road number for which we failed to do It's a really nice ride at this time of year out of Harrisburg to go up there. Plenty of open highway traffic moved well getting off the highway and going down the back roads to the park. We had no problems whatsoever. Note there is a Starbucks there that it's not an actual true Starbucks you need to put your own cream and sugar and other items in your drink so just be aware of that We highly recommend us amusement park and we look forward to many more visits over the next coming years

I would say one thing right off the bat I didn't like is that there are no automatic doors and the doors are heavy to whether which makes it really hard if you have a stroller or wheelchair. I understand that going on a weekend with bad weather probably contributed to how crowded it was since many families were likely looking for indoor activities, but that's still no excuse for how poorly things were managed. The place was completely overcrowded and there were barely any employees around to help manage anything. Most of the activities had ridiculously long lines, so we only got to do a couple of things before the kids got frustrated and tired. To make matters worse, the upstairs bathroom was disgusting. One of the toilets was clogged with feces floating in it, which is unacceptable for a place that caters to young children and families. At the end of our visit, my daughter wanted to make a point of telling them about all of the problems we experienced, so she asked to speak with customer service. The man we spoke to, whose role we weren't even sure of, simply said he was sorry to hear that and offered no real help or concern. For the amount of money they charge, they seriously need to limit the number of tickets they sell. They act like they manage capacity, but there's no way they do. Spending $140 for this experience felt like a complete waste of time and money. We definitely won't be coming back.

There were 13 of us of all different ages (toddlers to 70+) and everyone had an amazing time. My favorite thing about Dorney is the dual park. You have a pretty great water park on one side and an amusement park on the other. We started our day on waterslides, breaked for lunch at our cars, and then finished the day on rollercoasters. Solid day. A few tips to know before going: -you might want to bring along water shoes. Or at least be okay leaving your shoes in cubbys before you on any rides, and also be okay walking barefoot on potentially hot pavement. -there is NO SHADE. It feels like a massive oversight but there is not a bit of shade anywhere in this park. Bring a hat & sunglasses. -They let us bring water bottles into the park, but rumor was that it's one per person. Either way, hydrate a lot (all of the food kiosks were super nice about passing out free cups of water whenever we asked). -Parking is about $35 per car. -Couldn't tell ya a thing about food inside of the park because we've always been car lunch people. We all packed sandwiches, drinks, snacks, fruit and chips and had a little pic nic to recharge. Highly suggested. Just make sure to get a reentry ticket before you leave. This park had such a great kids section. My nephews had a blast on the very little kid rides as well as the older kid rides and we loved that we were able to jump on the rides with them. Truly a great day for all ages.

I was there today and left extremely frustrated and disgusted. I know this place is a money trap- that's not my issue. I loaded $30 each on my daughter's cards and $60 on my own. They went through that money so quickly and this was a big activity for spring vacation so I added another $30 each to their cards. So $60 x 3=$180.00. In all, we played maybe 2 hrs and all the money was spent. We tried to get the 9 Wizard of Oz cards from the machine, only to find out one is super extremely rare and you can play a whole game to get the one missing card if you want but the game seems impossible. My issue is the 3 female staff members who were at the check out desk talking to each other most of the time and seemed annoyed when we came to get the incredibly underwhelming prizes. Turns out my 9 y.o. Had like 19000 points and wanted this tiny nothing toy and a slime that retails for $7.99 on amazon but cost 18500 points there. In the end we were like under 300 short for both and I asked if they could possibly overlook the pts and the two women were so incredibly rude. I get it- you don't owe me anything, I was just asking- but don't be rude. I've had other staff do this when it's not many pts and they can see you've spent a bunch of money. So my daughter put back everything and just got the slime which she had more than enough points for and the lady hands it over all rude like she was doing us a favor and didn't even mention she had like 600 points left. There was one younger male employee who was super cool and helpful. A little kindness and engagement goes a long way. Games are overpriced and the fun atmosphere from the 80s and 90s is long gone. They only care about money. Won't be back there again. Even my 9 y.o. Walked out asking why the women had been so mean to her, even before I asked for anything.
