This park has: - a gravel parking lot with portable toilet - paved trails - fenced-in playground - a small lake with fountain (I've seen people fish here) - large gazebo with outdoor grill available for reservations - doggy bags for your furkid - wooded trail area in back of the park All-in-all, an awesome place for families. If you need refreshments, there is a shopping center (with Corropolese, Saxby's) not too far down.

There is a big loop around the lake that my dogs and I took, which is nice because it's a good walk without being too long or too short and you don't need to turn around. Lots of winding path areas so you feel pretty secluded. If you have reactive dogs you can easily step aside in many areas to let others pass. I'm excited to bring my dogs back here.

We used Google Maps to find this bark park and it was the hardest thing to find. It led us to some business parking lot and eventually read reviews on here for guidance. Recommend putting in KoKo or Santander Bank that's right next to Assi Plaza then driving all the way back to the last parking lot. You should be able to see the bark park entrance once there. There's two sections separated by large and small dogs. The grass surrounding the areas aren't maintained well but once inside the park, it's fine. My pup went into the small area and no one was there which we liked since the big area had a couple of big dogs which the parents weren't really paying attention to. Definitely prefer Knapp Road bark park better but not bad to come here while it's temporarily closed

Covered Bridge Park gets its name from its proximity to Pine Valley Covered Bridge on the edge of…read morethis community green. Its nearly 15 acres has a kids playground, ball fields, fishing pond, gazebo and restrooms (currently closed due to Covid-19). It is a pleasant public space designed for family use. On this beautiful Sunday in June it was quiet. Parents with young children were primarily at the playground, while kids old enough to handle a fishing rod were practicing their casting into the pond. Teenagers were seen farther out along the trails congregating in small groups. To each his own. We walked along the paved pathway over Pine Run Creek to be able to reach Old Ironhill Road and the northern approach to the covered bridge. There was some traffic, so we waited until it was clear and safe to walk through the hemlock and pine span to to the end. From there, we walked along Pine Run a bit to see what flora and fauna it had to offer. Didn't see much, but the gurgling stream was relaxing. Completing the circuit, we strolled back into the center of the park where the car was parked. Our plan was to go next to Peace Valley Park, but when we arrived it was so crowded we decided not to stop because it would have been impossible to maintain safe social distancing, and so many there were not wearing masks. Just not worth the risk.

Unlike the Banbury/Mopac trail, this is mostly a walk through the woods with a small bridge, and many paths to follow through the woods. It is very peaceful and quiet, and to this day I have not been on all the paths that lead further into the woods yet!! It has a finished parking lot with plenty of parking and leaving to go onto Godshall Road can be a pain at times, but is manageable. So, if your looking for a nice stroll through some scenic woods, this is the place!!

This is a great place to run, walk, bike, or bird. You can choose to walk in the field (wear hiking shoes) or stay on the paved path that circles the reservoir. There's a wooded area and an open area. If you live nearby I'd definitely recommend getting outside one day and exploring what this reservoir has to offer.
