Had a great experience with Chloe at Clementine's and adored the space they have created at Stanley Market. Made an appointment for a wash and blow dry service and loved it. Just wished one thing - I ended up buying the hair product that Chloe used on me and it wasn't cheap. I received a gift bag for being first time client and inside was a coupon to use for the hair product I got. I wish the cashier girls had let me know and let me use the coupon then because times are tough and it could've saved me a few bucks on my tab. (Updated) Got a haircut with Tommy months ago. He was efficient and did a decent job. I didn't feel very welcomed though. I asked about the products he was using to wash my hair and he just pointed to the brand on the counter (I was genuinely interested in the specific variety) and made me feel unimportant. The front desk was generally polite but not that friendly. The hair cut turned out fine. Overall, salon had a cool design and I enjoyed the products that were used. unfortunately, i have had two negative experiences here. first, being double booked at one location and being cast aside so that the stylist can make money on two clients at the same time. I was not told this until I had already turned up early for my appt - not at the time I had made the appt before the other person. Then, at the other location, my appt was canceled by them the day before my appt and I had no time to reschedule for that weekend as I had this appt in advance and had other commitments already confirmed. I did ask if they would make it up to me, and they said No and just sent apologies. I am not impressed with the customer service at all. it was a negative experience and never got my hair done :( read more

Was desperate for haircut, so tried this neighborhood place, so wanted to love it! Other than no time spent on actual cut, the guy rushed through blow dry by adding products. Explained I had flight in am and didn't want to have to rewash-- stylist put so much chemically product in my hair that it's greasy and A bit itchy. This review is super belated but Crystal chopped off ~10 inches of hair back in September and did a great job. She even helped me narrow down which charity to donate it to and helped braid the hair so it stayed together through the mailing process. I came in with a few pictures of what I wanted but the styles were all too long to work post-chop. Crystal ended up cutting it so that it would grow out to resemble the style in the photos. The way she styled it after the cut was fantastic and I got compliments all afternoon. I bluntly told her during the appointment that I have zero hair skills outside of a hair dryer, flat iron, and hair spray so she was nice enough to teach me how to do curls with a flat iron and easy blow out tricks (replication at home: still a work in progress). Now that it's 4 months later, I can definitely tell that it would look like the photos if I was better at styling my own hair - not her fault that I have the hair skills of a 5 yr old. After it grows a little more, I'll definitely be back to clean it up and pick up some new tips! My husband needed a fancier hair cut for an event and saw Crystal too. It was styled differently right after the cut, but in the days and weeks afterwards, it was clear that it was hands down the best hair cut he's ever gotten. read more

BEWARE! BEWARE!!! BEWARE!!! ***** READ IF RECIEVING SKIN TREATMENTS!! Do NOT come here!!!! Unless you want to be MUTILATED by their negligent and inexperienced "skincare" "estheticians". I received a Skin Pen MICORNEEDLING treatment from Evelyn Mohr Murphy that left PERMANENET IRREPRABLE DAMAGE TO MY FACE!!! Evelyn Mohr Murphy is an esthetician at this Stanley location who's only prior work experience is a year or two of WAXING. This treatment is often preformed by an experienced Nurse Practitioner or a Medical Doctor and there is a reason why. How did Clementine's circumvent that technicality? There's allegedly supposed to be a "doctor" on site who oversees the process. However, there isn't a legitimate doctor or any doctor for that matter, that is involved in this medical skincare procedure at this establishment and I never saw or spoke to one. FIRST RED FLAG. Evelyn Mohr Murphy managed to permanently damage my face due to repeating an area of my face multiple times, using the wrong thickness of needle on specific parts of the face and by using a BROKEN SKIN PEN device for the procedure, which essentially dragged a thick needle across my face, rupturing blood vessels under my eye causing permanent and VISIBLE damage to my face. When bringing this to managements attention, more specifically Dani Everson, the owner, although she admitted to Evelyns extreme inexperience and negligence, I was ultimately gaslit, hushed, shooed away and my complaints were ignored. Clementine's even refused to refund me for the expensive service that I paid for only to have my face permanently damaged and have to pay thousands more to repair my face back to its original state, before I had received this service that was supposed to IMPROVE my skin, not worsen it. I have never met their medical doctor and to this day do not believe he exists. Please do your research and go to a legitimate medical spa for any medical grade skincare services you wish to have done on your face. It is your face. Please be smart and invest in a professional who has the appropriate licensing and protocols in place to preform this procedure. Again this is your face, you do not want to cause permanent damage by saving a few dollars and going to a place that operates more like a beauty school with inexperienced students than an established, reputable med spa with licensed medical professionals. Do your research. Pay for a licensed NP (nurse) or MD to preform the service. *** Since the incident and the inability of the owner Dani Everson, to refund me for the services that mutilated my face, or explain the marks and permanent damage left on my face or provide documentation of the alleged MD that's supposed to oversee the process, I have had to seek information about the damages caused to my face at Clementine's from a certified plastic surgeon/MD. I have paid out of pocket and consulted a real MD in Denver (at Denver Vein Center) and plastic surgeons in LA about the damages to my face. They said Evelyn had repeatedly caused trauma to my face with the needle, which ultimately caused the damage under my eye. Then they quoted me ~$5,000 in painful medical treatments including multiple injections and laser treatments in an attempt to "repair" the damages I sustained at Clementine's. This is my personal experience with Clementine's Salon and I would never receive facial or skincare services here again. I hope I can spare people from experiencing the same horror and headache I have. Don't do it. It's not worth it. PS. BUT, I am going to change salons because I absolutely cannot deal with the parking at Stanley Marketplace. I have been late for my last several appts because it took over 10 minutes to find a spot. Ashley was wonderful. First time going to her. Was able to make an appointment at the last minute.

First off, let me start by saying that everyone here was super nice and friendly. I was greeted with a smile by the front desk staff. My stylist, Kelly was kinds and welcoming. Super friendly. She started off by letting me know that she wanted this to be a great experience and that since it was our first time working together she was going to ask a lot of questions. I showed her a picture of what I wanted, a brown that transitioned into a warm caramel color. I told her about some previous bad experiences where my hair had ended up orange. She told me that the caramel looked orange to her. I tried multiple times to clarify that the orange I was talking about was literally a pumpkin color, not something based in an red/orange hue. She listened intently. I told her that my hair always looks the same no matter what I ask for and I walk out with blonde highlights that turn even more blonde and that I was trying to get away from that and wanted something different. She assured me it would. I felt confident we were on the same page. Now, the process of watching her put the foils etc in my hair was pretty amazing. She was very fast, but a little rough. I didn't mind much as she seemed intent and was concentrating on her task, which is all good. We chit chatted a bit and then she put me under the dryer to get the lift she was looking for. Again - still a good experience. After the allotted time, we rinsed etc and the scalp massage was amazing. Now comes the reveal. When my hair was wet, I couldn't really tell a difference. Ok, no prob, my hair often looks a lot darker when wet. As she began to dry my hair, it looked nothing like the picture we started out with. Once again, I was left with cool blonde highlights. She left some of my regular hair color in and put in some brown lowlights basically. LET ME CLARIFY - Now, don't get me wrong, the work she did was stellar. You can see a soft transition like the effect in the picture and everything blends really well. But here is the thing.... its not what I wanted. It really looks like a lighter version of the hair color I had when I walked in. Which is exactly what I DIDNT want. She immediately could tell that I was not happy. We walked to another area to try it under different lighting. She says she stayed away from warm colors because I have a pink undertone to my skin and she didn't want to go warm. But that's the thing, I WANTED WARM. I wanted a chocolate brown and a caramel. She kept going back to " I think you should live in it a while," and the "do you want to see what your husband and kids think?" NO. This is my hair, and what they think is irrelevant. Then she told me that she shampooed me with a blue shampoo and that my hair would warm up in a few days. To her credit - She did attempt to schedule me to come back and change it, but her schedule is booked and we were looking at a bit of a distance out. Plus her hours don't work with my work schedule. I'm leaving to go out of town for a few days to visit family, which is why I wanted my hair done. You could tell she knew I wasn't happy. But there didn't seem to be an easy way for me to go back for a few more hours of time when this should have been what I wanted. To top it off, my bill was $175+ I tipped her $30 because she did a lot of work and was kind. I live in Thornton and drove to aurora in hopes of having a great experience. I read so many reviews talking about walking out of here feeling amazing, with this glorious amazing hair and I walked out feeling bummed. Its been 2 days. I've been to work and visited friends and Not a SINGLE person, male or female has noticed I got my hair done. When I asked my husband what he thought of it (see above) his reply, "Um, did you cut it or something?" Which confirms what I said when I saw it. I look the same. Overall- I wont be back. The price I paid was way to high to walk out with something that was the exact opposite of what I wanted walking in. I'm a person willing to spend money, to make drive to the other side of town, to get the outcome I want. This just wasn't it. Sad to say, I can pay $60 at cost cutters and walk out looking the same. read more

Absolutely fantastic experience! My hair is most definitely my security blanket and I have had the same stylist for years, but after moving, I caved and gave Clementine's a try! Abby Leonard gave me a cut and a 3 color high and low-light. She was phenomenal and happy to have found someone whom I can trust on my hair! Not only was she extremely skilled, but the salon atmosphere was beautiful, pleasant, and everyone was just very friendly and welcoming. I also got a bit of very bad news during my cut and the stylist worked around my needing to make emergency phone calls and was just great to have around in a sad moment. Clementine's lasting first impressions started with a jar of Hershey's next to their check-in sheet. And, okay, having a friendly receptionist greet me (maybe not immediately, but promptly) and offer coffee, water -- still or sparkling! -- or tea while I waited was pretty sweet, too. She even took the time to shuffle the schedule to get me an appointment since the one I made online was for the location I wasn't standing in and stuffing my face with chocolate nuggets. It's a lasting impression because it's been the same both times I've been in (and I'm assuming for all the future times I'm looking forward to!). I'm biased and favor my girl Kaysee since she's taken care of me from the beginning, but it's obvious that all their stylists are skilled and friendly. The salon itself has this artdeco-greenhouse-meets-fine-industrial-hanger look to it with gorgeous lighting coming from the windows facing the north. I'll start by saying I'm VERY picky about my hair; the color, the placement, the cut, the symmetry and evenness on both sides. I would imagine I'm a "challenging client" and I often find myself dreading hair appointments in fear that I won't end up with what I was going for. That being said, I was EXTREMELY fortunate to secure an appointment with Pamela recently and it was the best salon experience I've had in years. I was greeted warmly and the salon is absolutely gorgeous; light, bright, and bustling. After showing me where I would be sitting, where I could put my things and where the restroom was located, Pamela offered me a coffee, tea, or water and I enjoyed some Yogi tea as I settled in for my consultation. Pamela evaluated my hair, which I like to say needed some "help" after some over processing a few months prior and a lot of time in the pool. After her evaluation and sharing some inspiration photos, Pamela explained each step of her plan; what colors would be applied where and the techniques that would be used. She walked me through it in a way that made me feel not only at ease and knowledgeable about the process but confident in her ability to produce wonderful results. I was so pumped! As she worked, we had great conversation and she refilled my tea. Also, this woman gives the best shampoo in the biz! Really though, it was amazing. When she showed me the final results, I almost cried. I've never gotten "exactly what I wanted" at a salon before. It was stunning and I've received SO many compliments on my hair. Pamela is a wonderfully talented professional who takes her work seriously, providing a level of comfort and care I've never seen from a stylist. I would highly recommended her to anyone. I recently visited your salon for what was my third visit. The first two times while I liked my hair, there was a price increase the second time despite scheduling the same service both times. On my third visit I was very specific about wanting a full highlight and haircut. I'm a unnatural blonde who has been keeping up my color since being a teenager, I know what I like. During my appointment with the stylist I let her know I was looking for a very bright all over blonde, and to lose a lot of length. I was a little put off when she tried to talk me out of my haircut because she thought it would be too drastic, while I understand the concern I'm used to changing the length of my hair and knew what I wanted. At the conclusion of my appointment, I went to pay and the price was higher yet again. In a hurry to get home I paid, but called to clarify afterwards. I then found out my stylist had done balayage without discussing the change with me. While I appreciate the professional recommendation, due to the price difference, this should have been discussed with me. It was not. Then while asking more questions, I discovered that during my last two visits I had been given, and charged for, a hair treatment that was neither requested by me nor discussed with me. Frustrated by the stylists behavior and dishonesty I requested a refund for the two treatments and asked what they would do considering I was unhappy with my hair after receiving the wrong service. The front desk young lady let me know she would talk to a manager and call me back. When she called back, a significant amount of time later, she was still "not authorized" to completely remedy the situation. I had to ask for a call from a manager who still took over 24 hours to get back to me, and who I only spoke to after calling back to follow up. The manager did offer to refund the two treatments that I never knew I'd received and been charged for but still had an attitude and did not seem concerned about my experience, or in any customer service as far as attempting to remedy the entire mess. They never offered to have me come back in to fix the service that was done incorrectly (I look like I have roots due to the use of the wrong technique). What could have been a bad experience with a stylist, has now become a black mark on the whole salon. I expect more customer service from a salon with these service fees. I will not be returning and will now actively tell people to avoid the salon altogether. The experience has left a very bad taste in my mouth, from the entire staff including management. I'm still waiting on yet another call back from someone "authorized" to refund me. I'm disappointed and frustrated on what could have been a simple fix, return my money that never should have been taken and fix or refund my most recent visit. This is a customer service standard from most salons, and clearly one that Clementines is lacking. read more

Seabron (esthetician) at Clementine's Stanley is the BEST! I followed her from her old location in the Highlands, as I'd been a brow customer of hers (microblading). Her last space was small and she could not offer her full services but now she can and wooooow! First off - if you're looking for permanent makeup, she is the BROW GODDESS. Seriously. Not only are mine perfection, but she charges less than others you might find around here. I've also received facials (try the hydrafacial- it's heavenly!) and brow waxes and am excited to try more services from her. She is down to earth, so very great at her job, and very fair in her prices. She also has background at a medical spa so she knows what works and won't just try to push whatever the cream of the month is. She won't even push anything if you are happy with your regime! I come to Clementine's for my hair and I absolutely LOVE Skylar. I decided to try a facial and it was pretty lackluster. The esthetician was really nice and I loved all the products she used. My only issue (which is kind of a big one) was that I paid for an hour long facial and it was MUCH shorter than that. On the confirmation email the duration was listed at 6:15-7:30pm, I arrived early and the esthetician was running late, which is totally fine and she was apologetic. I got into the room about 6:25, then there's 5-7 min of chatting and getting into the table, and then the service was finished I looked at my watch and it was only 7:06!!! I felt awkward about it, should've said something, but didn't. I didn't want to be rude to the esthetician. So ultimately it was $110 (including tip) for maybe 40 min. That's unreasonable. I've paid a lot less for a lot better experience. read more
