    Turkish eggs

A cute and delicious brunch place! We came to Clementine for brunch on a Sunday morning and it didn't disappoint. We got Turkish eggs, fried chicken sandwich, a biscuit, and a sweet potato pancake. All were delicious! Our server was also friendly.

Spicy Red Curry... Minus the red curry, minus coconut flavor, and chicken grilled?!?! where's Batman to solve this crime!!!

OMG!!!! I used to thoroughly enjoy this place. Key word is "used to!" Tried their attempt at Red Curry. Um Er... Not red, zero spice, and the chicken was grilled and Never allowed time to blend with the curry-less sauce! absolutely disgusting!!!! Please either take it off the menu or eliminate the chef who found the acceptable to serve.

Been here a couple times and it's a solid place for brunch. Outside patio is super cute. The Benedict with salmon was cooked perfectly and so good, I love a good benny. The sweet potato pancakes tho were disappointing, it didn't have a lot of sweet potato flavor or much flavor/sweetness to it. The citrus butter just tasted like regular butter. Overall I found it to be savory and I had to soak it in syrup.

Met up with college kiddos after big JMU Hween weekend for brunch at Clem's. Eclectic decor, fun college vibe but the menu was surprisingly upscale-ish. Inconsistent Portion sizes, from decent (bruschetta) to huge (burrito). Juice served in short glasses (not too generous on the drinks haha). Everything was tasty and well plated, no complaints. Server was friendly but slow, oddly her tables seemed very spaced out. Highly recommend making reservations, no lines but busy.

First time around Clementine, definitely not our last! Came in with our JMU student before the game for some lunch. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with vibrant colors. For lunch two of us ordered the clementine burger and one had the sausage burrito. We were pleasantly surprised how good the burgers were! Even the fries were crispy and well seasoned. My husband loved the burrito...his words were "this is legit" Molly was our server and she was fantastic! Personable and attentive! Can't wait to go back!

This place has a great ambiance that could either be romantic or casual. Nice Paintings help elevate the decor. Great vibe. The food was really good. We had a party of 10 and no complaints. I had the special. Lamb. Cooked really well, with great taste. Other options that were great was the prime rib, and shirt rib pasta. The special with tuna was ok, served cold, not an issue, just very overpowering with sauce but still very tasty. The cocktails were well crafted and satisfying. I would definitely recommend for anyone visiting the area.

My mom and I went here for brunch and absolutely loved it! The crab cake benedict was delicious and we were surprised at how much crab came on it! It is super filling. The fried chicken sandwhich was also delicious - it has pimento cheese on it (so yummy). Their homemade chips are also always super good. Overall, the service and atmosphere was great AND for the two of us the bill was not bad. They also have $10 mimosa carafes which is a steal.

I really like this place. My first attempt a few years ago was thwarted by covid. I was pleasantly surprised they have a nice Saturday brunch menu that starts at 10. We arrived right after 10 on a nice Saturday morning and were promptly sat. The place has a good open vibe and is nicely decorated. Very nice bar set up. The menu was extensive, but was easily able to see the shrimp and grits. Had to get them. My daughter ordered the rock town plate. Both very good. Finished Brunch with a $4 (!) mimosa. highly recommended

Cheese board and shrimp with grits

The evening worked out perfectly, arriving in time for happy hour which ends at 6 p.m. We each ordered two glasses of rose, normally $9 apiece, reduced by $2. The three of us shared 3 small plates -- shrimp & grits, a cheese plate, and hummus. Everything was delicious and half price. Frankly the entree menu didn't excite me so I was happy to fill up on appetizers. Our exuberant server raved about their special entree: duck confit and pasta. We got one order to split, which I thought was a big nothing. Slivers of duck with spaghetti and peas. Eh! So this is what I suggest: arrive early. Share half priced appetizers -- there are some good options!-- and sit on the charming covered patio. If dining with music is your thing, check the schedule. Jazz tonight.

    Vanilla fig old fashioned

A very cool, funky space. I love the art, the light fixtures, the exposed brick - pretty much everything about it. Bartender was immediately attentive, though even though the place was nearly empty there were occasional times when service took too long. I ordered the vanilla and fig old fashioned which was delicious, but too sweet for an old fashioned. I also ordered the tofu and kimchi wrap to go, which came out very quickly. It traveled really well and I was pleased with the number of vegetarian/vegan options on the menu. Overall the food was very good, but slightly too salty for my tastes.

Very expensive drinks for their size but brunch menu (including drinks) is yummy. The glass size seemed to shrink each time.

    Crab Dip

Such a cute spot in downtown Harrisonburg. Great service. We came for lunch on a Friday. They were not too busy. The crab dip is really tasty. I would not recommend the tomato soup though. Not much flavor there. Just tastes like canned tomatoes. We came back fro Sunday breakfast. Much busier! Food definitely took longer but no big deal. Still great service. Breakfast was delicious.

I have found the front staff and the wait staff to be lacking in their consideration towards restaurant guests. It seems that they are picking and choosing whom they choose to grant a great experience to. Service: The front staff and waitress we had carried an air of attitude when dealing with me and my family. It seemed like they were not keen to accommodate a few of our basic requests which essentially boiled down to laziness. To be honest, they are very petty when it comes to getting a table on their rooftop...when my family (of 5) came in, they told us it was first come first serve and sat us inside. Another family came in with 3-4 adults and 2 kids after we were seated, to which they promptly moved them outside even though they were inside as well when a spot opened up. I'm not truly understanding the mentality of service here and frankly thought for a nice establishment there would be better decorum and attitude towards guests. Food: overall pretty good. I found the food and drink to be solid. In summary, the food is good here but doesn't surpass the service we received.

It can become a frenzied nucleus of sundry, displaced Steelers fans. And at Time-Out, their singular passion for Pittsburgh outshines their real-life heterogeneities. It's cute. Now I'm a Patriots fan. Not making this a secret, I was setup to watch my game on an old tube TV that wasn't adjusted to display the particulars of the game. It wasn't even large enough to discern who was involved in what play. As I missed the details of play after play, all the potential accolades that could have come from Time-Out being a smoker-friendly establishment vanished. TVs galore and I'm stuck watching my team's unabated conquest on a poorly tuned box circa 1985? And I could swear the thing had wood grain siding. Fail. As a practical matter, management should be advised that when it comes to pizza, every inch of cheese isn't supposed to immediately slide off the bread when slices are handled. Just saying. I'm convinced that they spray the dough with Teflon at Time-Out. All this being said, the service here is exemplary. Our waiter made regular rounds and we were not wanting for pitchers of beer. It's easy to quaff them down at Time-Out. So if you're looking for a place to drink and smoke, come here. But don't expect one iota more.
