A couple of them did not answer the phone, one took my name number but has yet to call me back, and one could squeeze me in later in the week. As for Living Waters Tim answered the phone promptly and called back shortly with an arrival time of 1 pm. Our tech Alex showed up slightly before 1 pm and just left after doing a great job at installing our new water heater. He was quick to order the equipment and parts he needed working to make sure he was being delivered a tank (did not opt for a tankless unit after doing my own research on prices) that would fit in our hall closet. This experience has been the worst…read more My wife called when the furnace was struggling and someone did come over the same day. She showed him the furnace and our spare ignitor. In 20 minutes, he had the furnace back together and working. The sucker punch was receiving this bill in the mail after offering to pay cash or check before he left. $145 seemed like a mistake and she called to make sure we were not accidentally charged for an ignitor. My wife was told that $145 is just a billable hour and that it did not matter he was at the house for less than 20 minutes. We live in town and it cost $145 for a guy to drive to our house and work a flathead screwdriver on 6 bolts and plug in a new ignitor we had in box next to the furnace. This seems either like taking advantage of a woman while her husband is overseas or just so steep that everyone should be warned so you don't get blindsided by $145/hour.
