It has a well manicured 18 hole golf course, nine more holes (27 total) gym, two pools, tennis courts and all that. It also has a clubhouse which is the focus of my review. First off, this is the ugliest clubhouse I've ever entered. Think Little Rascals He Man Woman Hater's Club if you're that much into club houses. Ugly brown crown molding, ratty carpeting, ugly beige walls and exposed wood ceilings. The lobby looks like a mausoleum too. After the ceremony in a non cool room (idiots turned on the heat by mistake), we were sent into the reception area, which was the south room and adjoining spaces. At least they actually had on the AC in here. Open bar and passed canapés as one would expect. Some of these canapés including bacon wrapped scallops stand out because they were AWFUL!! I almost spit out the spinach pie; I should've known better when I saw them drizzled with heaven knows what. Scallops over cooked and lousy...at least there was an open bar. After two dark rum and colas, I even had enough of that; cheap lo-rent swill. Salad was simple mixed greens with a slice of cuke, some red onion and a couple of CHILLED cherry tomatoes. Well, there was the next sign that the kitchen doesn't know what it's doing. Tomatoes are supposed to be room temperature; period. Dressing stop said salad was nondescript. For entrees the Queen Bee had crab stuffed grouper and I had filet mignon. Filet was bland but had a halfway decent demiglaze with it. Queen Bee didn't care for her grouper. Everyone else at the table seemed more or less okay with it. To be fair, I didn't try the stuff. Both entrees were accompanied by overcooked asparagus and bland rice pilaf. Blech! I'm sure the wedding party paid good money for this stuff. If this is any sign of how their dining rooms are, then kindly include me OUT of this club. I'd rather graze on the grass from the 10th fairway. The desserts you see are provided by an outside bakery so nothing to say here. Not really much worthwhile or positive to say about having a function here, either. Have it at Chuck E. Cheese or a bowling alley instead! Eh!!

We finally went bc we know right before Christmas is when it's less busy. We got a parking spot which was a miracle. It's beautiful and relaxing here. Def more chill than main Clearwater Beach. We miss it a lot and love it when we get to go. It's still a fave.

We wanted to bring him to a beach where we could still enjoy ourselves as well as him. We showed up at the beach at about 3 PM and found street parking. It was a very short walk from the street to the beach (near Somerset Street). We used maps to find the location of the beach and then started to scour the streets nearby for a parking spot. The beach was extremely clean and it's quite large so everybody was well spread out. Dog owners were very respectful and everybody had a good time without negative dog interactions. Just to remember, there are no concessions, showers, or restrooms. So come prepared!

A beautiful park that was recently renovated, in the heart of downtown Tampa. They have started…read morehosting many events lately and one of the most recent ones has been the "momma duck" art exhibit and her kid "Timmy". The park itself is very clean and nicely laid out with a cool splash pad for children to play in as well as a nice little park with stuff to climb and slide down and around on. I like that the park had some really clean bathrooms and the stalls didn't have any gaps when I closed the door. Being able to walk around this park and see some beautiful views of the water was something that was very cool because it is right off the water! No matter where I was walking there was something to see and enjoy. There was also a ton of seating around the park so I didn't have to sit on the floor or sit in the way of anyone. I also love that there are both stairs and ramps so that everyone is able to enjoy this park!

This was the first time I had been to Coachman since it was redone and it is awesome! There was a…read morefestival going on so there were a lot of people out and about, lots of food trucks and crafters. I liked that there is a eater feature for kids to play in and a bathroom. Also, during this event they had the bathrooms of the music venue open, which was really nice. I liked being able to walk up the hill between the music venue ans the library to see what it would be like to be sitting on the lawn for a concert and to also see the seating area for concerts. At the top of the hill, near where some construction is now taking place, are the murals. I love murals! They bring joy to the park. Parking isn't great. I parked far away on the street for free. The lot I parked next to is not free during concerts but was also free duringbthis daytime festival. I definitely will attend more events here.

One of our favorite spots to look for manatees is the Spring branch or Spring Bayou, off Tarpon…read moreSprings (FL) Bayou. We try to get here before 10am (Jan 2026), which seems to be when the manatees like to "frolic" here. There's not a lot of parking, maybe 25 spaces, and there's more one street up at the tennis courts. We never see any street parking in this neighborhood. We look for manatees near the south end of the bayou, near Bath St north of S Spring Blvd. We saw several individuals and maybe a pair, occasionally surfacing their backs or peeking out for a gulp of air. It was a chilly morning, so we didn't stay long. There's a nice path around the bayou, a park, and on weekdays, a cute $5 museum, too.

I purposely haven't reviewed this beach So as not to draw attention to it. But the secret is out,…read morethis is one of the nicest beaches in our area. It has a men's and women's bathroom, a shower, a small pavilion with several Permanent charcoal grills. Sadly, the problem is with the cost of using the beach. It now costs five dollars an hour to park here, which is outrageous! The only reason Belleair has a beach at all, is do to receiving the federal replenishing grant for beach re-nourishment. They then were forced to provide PUBLIC beach access. Which they did begrudgingly, with very minimal slots for public parking. After so many complaints about the lack of public parking, they finally opened up more, but then started charging. Fast forward to today, it's the most expensive spot around. $5.00 per hour.

Mission Hills Condominium is a 55+ private community in…read moreClearwater. There are about 450 condominium units. I like that the units are single level and garden-style. The private clubhouse has a pool and sauna with many senior and condo activities. There is no golf, tennis nor pickle ball. The location and value are very attractive. The closest traditional recreation center is the Long Center about 3 miles away on North Belcher Road. It is run by the City of Clearwater.
