This review is based on my first and only visit to this office. The the doctor was great. She was thorough, friendly, and good at her job. My home is almost an hour away from that location and if i based my experience on the quality of care I recieved from that doctor, I would probably make the trip again. HOWEVER, the experience with the woman who is supposed to help to choose your frames, options for lenses etc., was very unfriendly, and she provided very minimal information, (if any). Even when I asked important questions regarding the functionality (like options for transition lenses or sunglass attachments etc) for my Macular Degeneratation eye health, her answers were short and Kurt. In this very short period, she made me feel like I was taking up her time and wasn't worth the trouble. Even trying to take a moment to choose the frames seemed to annoy her. There was no one else waiting for her after me. These are glasses that I will be wearing and relying on for the next two years. I don't know what may be going on in her personal life or if she was just having a bad day, but she greatly needs to learn people skills or get another job somewhere in solitude. I have never had such unfriendly treatment by anyone that does what she does. They are usually very friendly and helpful. This was my first visit with this office and do to that experience, even though I did like the doctor, I will not be returning. I am supposed to recieve my glasses in the mail in two weeks. If they need adjustments, I guess I will just have to pay out of pocket and get that help elsewhere. I have a very meager income, but I will not make that drive just to subject myself to that treatment again. I am giving two stars instead of one only because the doctor was good, the woman at the front desk was nice enough, and the woman who took me back to check me in was indifferent but nothing to comment on either way. I wish I could have given a higher rating for the doctor, but sadly, i don't want the over all rating to reflect falsely, how awful the rest of that experience was. This morning, they had me in hold for more than 40 minutes OUTRAGEOUS Called this morning to confirm my appointment that's coming in couple days cause I got their text with the wrong appointment time that we agreed. They answered and they put me in hold right of way. But unbelievable, for more than 40 minutes no answer. Finally, Mrs Orquidia, the manager, picked up the call and she really listened to me on how can be possible to be on hold for more than 40 minutes. Her answer was that they are short of staff. Bought a new pair of glasses in December they broke once after a month they were replaced the replacements broke after a month and now the charging me a second time for replacement frames one person say there no warranty one said 1 month and the Dr said 3 months . Do yourself a favor and avoid this place like the plague!! read more

I've been coming here for a few years and I really like everything about this office. The optometrists are excellent and the staff from the receptionist (Orquidia is an Angel) to the tech who helps with the glasses are all amazing, kind friendly, very knowledgeable & most importantly caring. I never wait long to have an appointment scheduled or to be seen. I would highly recommend this optometry office to all my friends and family. Keep doing an amazing job Clear Vision! read more

Very unprofessional, the Dr. was being passive aggressive and giving attitude. I guess he didn't like that I gave the same response back which made him yell at me and slam his papers. The Costumer Service at the optometry location is horrible. The receptionist has no idea how to treat customers. My whole family obtain glasses at this facility. Two of the glasses broke, and all the sudden they do not carry the glasses they do not repair glasses was what I was told I asked could I buy a frame and repair myself? We do not do that you can make another appointment. Of course they want to charge my insurance again horrible horrible I do not recommend. read more

I don't typically leave reviews, however i must WARN people, They will mislead you to think your insurance will cover the exam. They wont tell you it wont cover an RX for contacts, then slap you with $165. On top of this they ask if youd pay an additional $12. Charge "in the event you need your eyes dialated," but can instead take pictures to avoid that. Well i never in any bare standard exam been dialated. Yet they charged me for it. The doctor was very nice, and did her job very well. But the cheap shot experience ruined it. Next time ill just go with Costco. No hidden fees and substantially less. I wont be going back again. read more

Very rude! We were in from Vegas and wife need a lens put back in the frame. Refused to do it because the glasses were not purchased at that Clear Vision. She explained that the glasses were purchased at a Clear Vision in Vegas, but that didn't matter. Had to have been purchased at this location! read more

If I could give them a zero I would. The customer service was the worst. My son had his glasses for two days, when they literally snapped. They discriminated against us and said because I have medical his glasses were not covered, and too bad they weren't going to do anything for my son . I was also picking up glasses for my daughter, was sent an email to pick up at my earliest convenience, that was a lie when I came in she gave me a hard time saying I needed an appointment to just pick up. The service in this establishment is all around the worst if you don't want to be treated poorly I would run to any other establishment. If I could leave a one star review I would. STAY AWAY FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT. The level of unprofessionalism shown by the receptionists here is unbelievable. I was in contact with this office about multiple times attempting to simply receive a copy of my contact prescription but the customer service of the receptionists is unbelievably awful as they have made it an impossible task and have me jumping through hoops so receive what I paid for. First I was told that I would receive an email which I never received for a couple of weeks, so I tried to get an outside party to request the copy but they were denied, then I called the next day and was told that my eye doctor had already left the office and that I needed to have her approval on some information so was told to call the following day, I called the next day and was told I needed to call back at 2:00 then 1:30 (which made me suspicious so I asked if that time was correct as the automated message stated the office was closed for lunch break between 1:00 to 2:00, but the woman on the line reassured me that only half the staff left during that time period, while the other stayed to answer phone calls), so I called at 1:30 but like I had first assumed...no one was in the office so I called at 2:00 but to my absolute disbelief was put on hold to then be quickly hung up on, I called again and this time, I assume, the receptionist refused to speak to me. They eventually sent me the prescription for glasses which I made clear was not what I was asking for multiple times and have since stopped responding. All reviews on their poor service ring true, please save your money and time. read more

Fast and reliable getting in and getting out. The only problem is not enough parking got to be there early.

(I walked in and walked out) I walked in hoping to make an appointment to get some new glasses as it's been almost 3 years since i've seen the eye doctor. I was greeted by the front office and they seemed nice and welcoming and things were ok until I heard the doctor basically yelling at his employees. It seemed like they were new too. I was a bit iffy of this place after seeing their reviews but it all made sense as soon as I stepped inside the business. The doctor gives off a very shady feeling and it's no wonder why people have some horrible customer service experience's here. I'd hate my job too if I had to work under someone who runs their practice with a crazy power trip. I took my things and walked out because i'd rather go somewhere that's actually professional and runs their business more ethically and with integrity. read more

This is my first review I've ever made. I never really felt the need to have time and post a review. But this is something I feel everyone should know. My first bad experience is calling in to report my frame of my glasses braking. This frame broke while I was wearing it and I only had it a little over 3 weeks. After giving my information over the phone the representative put me on hold for 15 minutes and came back on the phone to thank me for holding and that she is still searching to see if my glasses are covered under warranty. After holding for a little over ten minutes, she comes back on the phone answering it as if i was a new caller. I had to remind her she was searching for my warranty. She replied that she was very busy and she couldn't help me at the time and she had to call me back. I said okay but could you explain why you had me on the phone holding for a total of almost 45 minutes only to tell me you can't help me at the moment. Off course she gave attitude and said well I got busy and distracted. I said okay I will standby for her return call. She never called me back that day. I tried calling again the next morning and there was no answer. Called again at noon, no answer. So I decided to come in person and speak to someone. When I got there, no one was there. There were 3 representatives at the front reception area. I went to use the bathroom which is right across the counter. I tested them and called them from the bathroom. I can hear the phone ringing. A very upsetting comment came from one of representatives mouth. Her exact words "oh my God, I'm not ready to deal with this person. It appears they have caller ID and don't want to answer my call. So I come out and the front desk if there is someone that can assist me because I've been trying get my frames repaired because it's still under warranty. She said "sure." When she realize the name, I can see the shame on her face because I was just the bathroom. It's obvious heard she understood i heard what she said when I called. They assisted me and gave me knew frames which no longer has warranty on it. By the my glasses cost $175.00. 2nd bad experience: 10 days later, The 2nd frame they gave me, broke again while wearing them. It cleary tells me there quality of frames are a fraud. All of my glasses I've had in my 45 years of life I've never had frames break while I'm wearing them. Staff and quality of frames are a negative for me. read more

Approximately a year ago I visited this place for the first time. The front desk service was very poor. There was no greeting at my arrival. The doctor or specialist walked in the room did the test so fast it hardly gave me time to really be able to focus mu eyes to get an accurate result. At the end they offer you glasses you to buy with your prescription, when I said no thank you their attitude change like the transformers and were even more rude not showing any care. I just visited Yesterday for the yearly check up & nothing has changed it seems like they're not really concerned about your eye problems its more about just doing the test they offer and making a sale. read more

Worst optometrist that I had come. My first visit was very pleasant. My second visit want great. First when I made my appointment they told me one time, then when they confirmed appointment they gave me another time. The day of appointment I called to check in to my surprise they never checked me in and I told them that I had one appointment and they changed it to another time without telling me. When we were in with doctor he was asking me some questions and when I was answering he interrupted and didn't let me finish so I had to tell him that I was trying to explain. So he continued with appointment. If they would had called me to tell me if it was ok to change appointment, I would had been ok. I would never do this to my clients in my line of work. read more

If I could negative stars, I would! My child waited over a month for her glasses until I finally decided to cancel. This office kept telling me it was the insurance taking forever but when I called and spoke with my insurance company they didn't have any records of anything being billed. Completely unprofessional. I will not recommend this place at all unless you want to wait forever for a pair of glasses read more

As the years have passed the service here has gotten worse. I have been at this place since my mom would take me, we are talking about 10 years more or less. The girls at the front desk are becoming less and less professional. My most recent experience which was within these past two months was getting charged a 90 dll fee for my contacts, last year it was 70; I don't mind paying the issue is the service. I ordered my trials and I think the girls at the front desk honestly forgot to put the order in because it took 7 weeks for my contact TRIALS to get to the location after me harassing them almost on a daily basis within the last two weeks of my waiting period. It proceeds to me calling today to order the damn contacts and I ask for the pricing, the girls tells me around 700 dlls for the year. I then ask, what was the pricing for the biweekly lenses I had prior and she says that the doctor prescribed me the daily because "my eyes were too dry" LOL this is the part that cracked me up. So wait, you're telling me that I can't order the contacts that I wore previously because the doctor stated the above??? I wore these contacts before, let me speak to the ophthalmologist. Then bullshit comes up, she says I can't just schedule an appointment, she can give him the message. The message that will probably never get to him. Any who, I proceed to call the Eastlake location determined to speak to the doctor BECAUSE the service at this location has gotten worse with time. I call and receptionist by the name of Jackie answers, super nice girl. I tell her, rant to her about what had happened, she tells me she would get the doctor for me as soon as she could, atleast relay the info. Not even 30 minutes later Verenice from the Chula Vista location calls me and tries to tell me that if I want to order the contacts that her coworker had previously told me I couldn't order. What I thought was super funny was that she was correcting me when I told her that someone had previously given me a different pricing for the contact lenses, she says" it was me" with an attitude, whatever girl, it's ok I remember what you said the first time but I don't feel like arguing because first of all you should already know customer service from prior experience. Lol. Then the call either gets disconnected or she simply hung up. Whatever I don't care. Not going back to that location for sure. I did call Eastlake to order my contacts which again, Jackie was extremely nice and told me that the contacts shouldn't take more than 3 business days to get there! THREEEE! Let me emphasize that!! 3! It took 7 weeks to get my fucken trials at the Chula Vista that's why I honestly think they forgot and just tried to cover it up. Jackie also informs me that there is a rebate of 25/50 dlls, why have they never give this to me before? Hmmmmm. The reason why I still ordered with clear vision Optometry is because I already paid 90 dlls for a fitting which in reality they don't do shit besides charge you because well in my case my insurance covers the park eye exam which was done prior so in reality the fitting fee is just an extra charge. Whatever right, they need to make their money one way or the other. I really don't know if after getting my contacts I'll be back or I'll decide to look for another optometry place but for sure I won't go back to the Chula Vista shitty location. read more
