The doctor was great however the price for glasses was too high. They have great prices for frames but the cost of the lenses was astronomical. Wish they were more competitive and that they ran specials for just the lenses, for people who have frames. read more

I went to the new office in Oro Valley on the advice of my brother and sister in law. We're all new here, so all new doctors. They loved them, so I went. I have problem eyes, So I was nervous that it would be hard to get my prescription right. Doctor was great, patient and thorough. Some frames were picked out for me to try while I was having my eyes checked. She did a great b job of picking. I've never had help like that before, and I ended up getting frames that I normally would not have chosen on my own. Highly recommend them. read more

I can't say enough about Clear Vision Express. This is my second time getting glasses from them and I will continue to give them my business. David at the Oro Valley store was fantastic. He recommended frames that I would not have normally picked for myself and I very much preferred his suggestions over mine. He was extremely knowledgeable, clearly had a sense of current fashions and I can't say enough positive things about my experience. Avoid this place at all costs. I had my vision checked in May and received a stronger prescription for my contacts. I immediately ordered contacts. Over a month later, I still didn't have my new contacts due to back order from the manufacturer. This was not Clearvisions fault, as it is a country-wide problem. That being said, I went in and asked if I could get another trial pair. I said I'd even pay for them. They said no. I explained I was having a very difficult time seeing as I get very dizzy when just wearing my glasses. I asked if the optometrist could change my prescription to another brand or type of lens that IS available, they told me no, that I'd need another exam to change the prescription. They then proceeded to tell me that they have no optometrists right now, and the soonest I could be seen is in mid July. Mind you, I'd already been seeing blurry for 2 weeks at this point. I then called Costco and LensCrafters, and explained my situation and how I needed another exam. They both told me to call Clearvision back because it was very bad practice that they were making me have another exam. When I called Clearvision again, they told me again there was nothing that they could do to help me. I reiterated many times that I COULD NOT SEE. I got angry and told them this was BS and horrible patient care. The gal on the phone got snippy, and said she wasn't going to help me because I said "bull$hit". Well, I'm sorry, but it was BS!! I hung up. 5 minutes later an optometrist called me back and said to swing by and pick up a set of trials that will hold me over until by ordered contacts come in. I don't understand why I had to get angry and blow a fuse with this company until I was helped. I'm a pharmacist and need my vision to work! I'll NEVER go back here again. read more

She is very careful and thorough in helping me to get the very best possible vision given my personal attributes. The office staff is helpful. The location itself is light, airy, and a pleasure. This company is a joke. They don't tell you there are no returns or exchanges. I had to read it on the receipt after I had already left the office. I called before the prescription was processed to try and stop the order to remove anti glare and it was a shit show. If you call to complain or want something changed they make it seem like you're being difficult and causing a problem. Their employees lie. I was told with a previous order I had issues with by a manager that if they didn't process the order they could refund me but that was retracted. I said I wanted a refund they out right refused. I asked if they could at least take the anti glare and refund me. They refused said they could give store credit. That's how hard up on money they're. They will take but not give. They don't value customers or have any knowledge in customer service. It's all peachy until you're not happy or want a change in the order. Little things like that you wouldn't think would be a big deal. Think again! They delete bad reviews from Facebook. Hahaha They don't want people to know how they scam others. Really disappointed with the service of this place and glad to be moving on. After a couple hundred dollars and after 5 months of hounding them I finally got my prescription today! I'm a business owner and my free times varies so I have to work on their doctor's schedule after the first doctor screwed up my first prescription, then had to wait for the old doctor and the new doctor to approve me to see the new doctor. I called to say the prescription was good and was told I would get a call back to pick them up.. 3 weeks later never got the call and I finally just went to the place and picked up the prescription. All around disappointing and after I picked up the prescription they didn't even seem to care or try to save me as a customer. For the price and the service it's not worth it. read more

Excellent selection of frames and styles. Dr Lee is friendly, honest, and communicates clearly - wonderful Dr! My husband and I really appreciate the staff - especially Kloe and Renee. They've helped us pick frames that complement our face shapes. They've measured well for progressive lenses (we've had issues with other opticians - progressive lenses can be tricky). They also spent the time needed without issue - we never felt rushed or pressured. Nice, clean, well lit retail store with good product display. Dr Kim Ly in Oro Valley is fantastic. I went to a doc in PA for 20 yrs before going to Dr Ly. She immediately lowered my Rx which allowed me to no longer need readers. Then she recommended transition lenses to reduce glare. Both changes made a major improvement. I would change whoever you are going to now and see her immediately. She's like a magician! read more

It's been two years and I have an expired prescription so I went to make an appointment. Unfortunately tried to schedule an appointment for exam. But would have to wait almost a month to get in. Seems to me that they do not have enough doctors working with them or for them. Really seemed pathetic not to be able to work with returning customer. Lost a customer here! read more

My wife and I just went to Clear Vision Express on Oracle in Oro Valley and saw Dr. Heather Hickson. We have never been there before or seen Dr. Hickson. We couldn't have been any happier with Dr. Hickson or her staff! They were very attentive and knowledgeable! Besides a complete and thorough examination performed by Dr. Hickson, the staff was very helpful in selection of frames and lenses. In fact be prepared!
