I bought a whole house full of Jeld-wen windows and doors for a brand new construction. Half the…read morewindows which Jeld-wen installed didn't work. For months after initial installation, techs had to keep coming back to correct the faulty installations and faulty products. It's been 6 months now and I'm still waiting for Jeld-wen to replace the defective sliding glass door they installed. Today, a Jeld-wen tech came by appointment to install the new door. He showed up and didn't even bring the door with him. The Jeld-wen tech left to go look for the door. I have no idea how long I'm supposed to wait for this guy. INCOMPETENT. POOR QUALITY POOR INSTALLATION POOR SERVICE I should have insisted on Pollard or Anderson products in my construction. Big mistake going with Jeld-wen. UPDATE: Weeks after writing this review, the 6 month old issue with the sliding glass door has finally been resolved. I expect brand new windows and doors to work flawlessly on day 1. For us, it took 6 months for our windows and doors to all work properly. That's just not acceptable.

Probably should have done that with the first failures rather than hoping they would address their quality issues. So much money flushed down the toilet. Terrible company, terrible products.
