Came in to my appointment early to do paperwork and I was *still* taken in at least 10-15 minutes…read moreafter my appointment was scheduled. When they say 60 minute sessions, they mean 40 minutes, because they give you about 15-20 minutes to dress and undress but apparently that counts against your massage time. Why would anyone pay for 60 minutes in order to receive 40??? Masseuse promptly ended the session at an hour after my appointment was scheduled, despite being called in late, which really means that I received maybe 35 minutes of service. No complaints with the actual massage but the cost is ridiculous compared to the experience.

I asked ME to stop charging me UNTIL I can go back with out having to wear a mask. I certainly understand the need for a Mask but much of the enjoyment would be leaving. I wanted to stay loyal but just not come until the majority of the COVID-19 problem has passed. as of that moment I had the equivalent credit of over seven hours of massages and I've already paid for. ME would NOT allow that, I pointed out if you don't allow it I will leave and never come back even though I've been paying monthly for multi year. You're going to lose my money either way but if you allow my account to be hibernated instead of losing a happy loyal Customer you will beginning an angry ex. I asked tospeak to the owner's, it was ignored. I lost seven hours of credit, BUT I will NEVER come back, and yes I will only say negative things from this point on

Usually I get a pedicure with Elizabeth and now I come for facials with Courtney. This might seem like an indulgence but after the summer I had I needed this. The facial she gives are fabulous, but the arm, shoulder and upper back massage it's a welcome treat and I usually sleep better after having this done. Staff who work here a so lovely and so are the owners. Make appointments kids

Yes, I could order online or…read morego to Sephora, but Waterlily and Sepora are worlds apart--and why not when we can support local--AND it's actually better?! First of all, the vibe is completely different. Waterlily is an old house that feels cozy and warm. All of their employees are so elegant and classy and have the utmost customer service at heart. They offer spa services, skin products from certain lines (can't say much about them as I haven't explored them really), and only Trish McEvoy and Laura Mercier make up. However, I love Laura Mercier, and a few Trish McEvoy items (on their suggestion) have become staples for me. I won't use this forum to talk about Laura Mercier, but it really is an excellent make up line. For me, I always like to try on new products or just test out some make up for fun when I go in to stock up on something I have run out of, and they are always happy to put something on me. Plus, every time I go, I learn a new technique of some sort. These ladies really know their stuff. It isn't like at Sephora where you get some high school girl who has only been using make up herself for like 2 years and may have managed to memorize a few key facts about the entire store since she's overwhelmed by the surplus of product lines and hasn't been around long enough to try 1/100 of them. The ladies that work at Waterlily are skilled make up artists and fans of make up. They have a strong knowledge of what works given your face structure, strengths and weaknesses, and how to apply the lines they sell. And they often have national make up artists come in. Oh, and also they keep a file on which products you ordered so if you wonder if this new shade will go with anything you have, they can just look it up and say "Yes, this will go perfectly with that cream shadow in x shade you bought" or if you come in for more concealer, but can't remember what color you are, they know. Very helpful! And some of them even remember my name! What store does that?? Recently, I've had a few issues with a certain product line and they are always good about returning or exchanging. However, know that they only offer store credit, not full returns, which is the only drawback of this store.

I didn't buy anything. I have cancer, and I popped in because I can longer do my face injections…read morewhile taking Chemo. The chemo is also breaking my face out, really bad. I was feeling pretty low about myself, and not very pretty. I thought if I bought some new makeup, I'd feel better about myself. Nope! Didn't work. I walked in. The front door was very heavy, and I was strugglibg to open it, because I'm weak due to my chemo. A bottled red head, all made up, cupie doll sat at the front ready to greet me with a smile. However, it never occurred to her to help me with the door. Once I stumbled in and fixed my headscarf, because my hair is falling out. She greeted me kindly and asked how she may help me? My brain was thinking, "Opening the door would have been helpful" but instead I smiled back, and asked for MAC makeup. She can back with, "Oh sorry hun, we don't sell MAC" I told her that I just read an article in The NY Times where they announced Sephora was now selling MAC" She said, Nope! Sorry hun! Yes, she called a 55 year old women hun. Extremely inappropriate for a girl her age. I do not think hun, baby, doll, any of those types of greeting are appropriate for anyone, at any age. Her smile was obnoxious and she said nothing more after that. She stood there like she expected me to walk away. So I did just that. Turned and walked straight out the door. That was that. No, How about I show you what we have that is comparable? I would have been fine with an alternative option. But the girl was not bright enough to turn it into a sale. She probably even thought she did he job well. So I left, went to Ulta and dropped Over 500.00 there on all new makeup. Not all of it was MAC. But the girls at Ulta were incredible. Helpful, nonjudgmental. They were not made up like Cupie dolls, like in Sephora. They had a more mature, classic look to their makeup. Sephora might be for kids, but I have 6 daughters and 10 granddaughters that will be getting Ulta gift cards from now on, instead of Sephora. What was it, that Julia Roberts said in Pretty Woman. Oh ya! "Big Mistake Sephora, Big Mistake"

I ordered a few things online for in store pickup which was easy. Staff greets you when you come in and than they do it again I get it but it can sometimes be tedious. It's a brand new store it's maybe been open two weeks. I wonder if people are not aware they are here but I'm glad they are here. If you been to a Sephora you know what it looks like inside. Prices depends on what you need from inexpensive to high end. A plus the staff is helpful and knowledgeable)even though I moaned that they greeted me too much lol) If you have their credit card you get points and etc. It's really a 4.5 but it's a good store so I'll bump them up! Just what I needed. I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. As a result. I cannot get any injections, chemical peels, or anything that is not hydrating or natural, while in chemo. Which was a devastating blow to my confidence. I assumed that meant, I would look 10 years older, in a year. Also the chemo is making my face break out. Talk about a huge whammy! Mallory did a wonderful hydrating facial, with Papaya enzymes and lipids. My skin feels and looks amazing! This is now part of my regular rotation. Nothing zaps collagen from your face than chemo. I plan on living through this and fighting hard. But whether I end up in a coffin or continuing to live my best life. I still want to feel pretty. I have a membership through this business and it has been so worth it. Today my service was free. Just because they wanted me to feel pampered. Not only was it a sweet gesture, but smart business. Because now I've tried a new treatment, that I plan on doing on a regular basis. I have not had any injections in about 9 months. I put a picture of myself, so you can see how amazing they keep looking. Without any toxins, chemicals, or injections. This pic was taken after my treatment. No make up, filter free. I'm 55 years old. Still feeling confident, with breast cancer.
