2025 Tesla Model 3. I paid $7500 and received an extremely poor quality result. When I pointed out the issues I was verbally attacked and threatened by the owner Brent Thomas. I pointed out flaws in the wrap, debris under the window film, etc that Brent claimed would "go away" in a week. It obviously didn't. After Brent called me cussing and yelling like a crazy person and berated me as well as my deceased brother (my brother and I are both veterans, Brent claimed his shop was veteran owned but he's never served and didn't like me pointing that out) I didn't feel it would be safe or prudent to deal with him any longer. I spoke with two other shops, one being the Xpel corporate owned shop, and they both confirmed the work was done poorly. Xpel stood behind their "authorized" dealer and removed and replaced all the wrap and tint. Bottom line, Xpel has great products and great service (1517 Prudential Dr Dallas), but THIS dealer Brent Thomas is useless. Unless you're one of those people who thinks paying thousands of dollars to be talked to like you're scum and yelled at by someone who in my opinion is mentally unstable, avoid this person. You know it's a crazy situation when you pay a company $7500 for work to be done and the end result is your contacting your attorney and local police department advising them of the threats you received from the same company because of the poor quality job they did. I wish I had looked a little further beyond the multiple five star reviews. He has to see the truth. It's not hard with a few Google reviews to find out who Brent Thomas is and what you can expect from him. In a recent review I recounted the pleasure it is/was to work with Brent at ClearBra North Dallas. During that installation Brent identified an issue with my 911 that was unbeknownst to me; and one that required a repair by the dealer necessitating a follow-up service by Brent. I previously had some tinting done on my new Ford Raptor (great job) by Clear Bra and got to talking with the owner (Brent) about other services he provides. He told me that although they do tinting services, their primary specialty is installing protection films for cars to prevent paint chips, scratches, color fading, headlights fogging, etc. I shared that when I originally purchased the truck (local DFW Ford dealership) I asked them about their paint protection options but was quickly talked out of it by the sales person citing the films tend to turn yellow over time. Brent said my sales person was right to suggest not pursing the cheaper film options from dealerships that indeed they will often yellow (very common problem). Brent discussed a couple of products he uses and proceeded to take me around his shop to discuss some of the vehicles they're working on at the moment (all high end vehicles). His shop was immaculate and I could tell that he pays attention to the details. Brent had a shop apron on and is a hands-on kind of business owner. After discussing my product/services options I elected to have Clear Bra wrap the front half of my truck (cab forward) with plans to go back later this year and wrap the truck bed. I dropped it off during the July 4th week and let them keep it for the week. They did a fantastic job and it looks amazing. It's interesting to see that the dirt does not stick to the film as easily as it does on the paint. The wrapped portion (cab) looks cleaner then the unwrapped portion (bed). Although this type of film wrap is not inexpensive, it was an easy decision for me to make. I usually keep my vehicles for many years and want them looking as nice a possible, especially since I use my truck for outdoor related activities, where it tends to get "Texas pinstripes" from the brush. I took my 2019 430CI BMW to get full clear bra & all windows tinted. I did my research and checked reviews on a few companies, Clear Bra North Dallas had best reviews by far. I phoned, spoke to owner, Brent, he explained their process extensively and he answered every question I asked. I made an appointment, but In between the period I called to make appointment to actual appointment I had called back a couple times & left messages, Brent always phoned back. When I brought my car to them, we walked outside and he again showed my everything they were going to do in detail. I went out of town and they kindly offered to keep my car until I returned, AWESOME. When I went to retrieve my car, he walked out and pointed out & explained all they had preformed. My BMW looks fabulous! A good business stands behind their product, Brent offered 10 yrs on clear bra and tint for lifetime of my BMW as long as I own it. What impressed me the most was they told me the back window had just been redone bc something about it bothered them, it was probably something I would have never noticed, but he again said he stands firmly behind all his products and if I ever had a problem or question not to hesitate to call him. Let me preface this by saving the original work (Film coverage Basic package) Brent did for me 4 years ago was spot on. My review is for how I was handled today. I had a rock or debris hit the front of my car (2012 Centennial ZR1) causing a mark in the clear bra that was unable to self-heal. I called Brent to inquire about it to see what could be done. I was told that pictures would not work and I had to come by his shop in argyle (I live in North Frisco). I agreed and Brent and I were set to meet at his shop this morning at 9. I took off work and made the hour drive there arriving at 8:53am. I shot Brent a text letting him know for which I got no reply. His associate arrived, acknowledged me but went inside and never invited me inside to wait. Standing out in the heat I decided to go in anyway. For 40 minutes I stood around and watched his associate sweep the floors in the shop. I still had not received a reply from Brent nor did his associate offer to help me in any way. At that point I guess Brent gave him a call and he then proceeded to go outside, look at my issue for 10 seconds and tell me it is going to be $850 to replace. I got in my car and made the hour drive home. My issue is not with the price or the need to replace. My issue is after making an appt to meet Brent at 9.....he never showed up, he never replied to my text, I was never invited inside to wait, I had to watch his associate sweep the floor for 40 minutes until finally they decided to help me. I sent Brent a text once I got home almost 3 total hours later stating my displeasure which he then decided to call. It was poorly handled with zero remorse, zero apologies and zero attempts to help in any way to make it right. Actually, I was told I was being "melodramatic". Thank you, that was appreciated. The best place to go to get it done right ! Originally had my clear bra done at the Audi dealership on my 2020 S4. The work was terrible and the edges were coming off the very next day. Called up Brent at Clear Bra North Dallas and he got me in right away and walked me through what his standards are for a good clear bra application--then made it happen. He sets a high bar and he delivered! Removed my previous bra film, then did a custom wrap job on the hood and bumper and ceramic coated the entire car. Perfection! Because I wanted Rudy's BBQ in Denton for lunch afterwards, I headed up to his shop. Brent was fast and very fair in re-tinting the window. Dear BBB, Before I got this job done with ClearBra of Dallas, aka; Accurate Detail & Tint in Argyle, TX done, the owner of the shop Brent told me the job would be completed inside his 10-car garage for entire job and, he sounded sincere and that was important to me if he was going to do the job inside, and not outside. But when I dropped off my 2021 Tesla electric new car, I realized the vehicle stayed outside the first day (24 hours) of the three days it was there at his shop and, I knew this because of the technology in the car that showed me that to be the case. I could see where he left my car's hood open while it stayed outside the first night because the car showed that condition, and it was raining outside where the car was at that time. I then called Brent after 24 hours of my car being outside and asked him why the work was proceeding outside, and he got furious at me for asking, and he started berating me on the telephone. He said at this point it would stay in, and so, on the third day, Friday the 20th of August I went to pick up the car. When I arrived, Brent started to belittle me for calling him that one time with my concern. I figured instead get into with him, I would pay and leave because I was concerned for the way he was acting toward me. I was looking over vehicle before I left, but he was badging me while I was there, which, inhibited completing my inspection and I did try point out contamination to Brent, but he was quickly discounting what I was saying. So, I left and looked it over at the end of the street and here is what I found: Window tint has contamination where I initially see dirt particle contamination in multiple locations on the windshield. Front hood and bumper, and I pointed this out to Brent that the "XPEL" Paint PPF wrap has particle contamination under the wrap, which is suppose to protect the paint and not harbor dirt, so the job has to be done in a very clean dry space, which I do not believe it was done in, but outside instead because he was very busy. The ceramic wax job is not showing to be very hydrophobic, and it's like he did not wax it at all. Note, between Brent's unprofessional customer service skills and the unprofessional job from Brent and also I am concerned how will I receive my lifetime warranty for parts and labor for this job, and he is the only dealer that can get service from. I confirmed this with "Xpel manufacturer" for this product Brent is selling in this job. Brent said I am to never call him under any circumstances, so how will I get this corrected if I cannot call the shop or trust that I will be safe going there and if he would even do it? Because I cannot call him to schedule any corrections according to him. I feel I have no recourse with him to resolve my issues and I hope you understand this very bad situation. read more

The man is a fanatic about detail and making sure the job is done to his own high standards. I have now had two experiences with this team and they have both been fantastic. Last year I bought a new vehicle for my wife and we took it into Brent to have the PPF installed. I went with the Sun-tech because it is an outstanding product. When we arrived at the shop in Argyle the first thing I noticed was how clean the workspace was. Brent was able to clearly explain the difference in the materials and it was obvious he has a ton of experience. When we came to pick up the car i was equally impressed with the attention to detail. The PPF looked fantastic and he even rolled the edges to ensure there was no surface area going to be hit by rocks. The finish looks much more professional with the rolled edges as well. Based on the first experience, I didn't even think twice about where to go to get the windows tinted in my house. Again, I went with Sun-tech because I wanted bronze and the material is top notch. Chris came out to my house and was right on time with when he said he would be there. He was clean and professional looking, which we all know isn't necessarily the case with most in home installers. Chris was clean with his materials throughout the entire process and put down a tarp and paint blanket to ensure my floors were protected. He was pleasant to talk to and didn't disrupt anything we had going on. When he finished I looked at the work and it was outstanding. My windows are rounded at the top yet he was able to ensure a perfect fit and no gaps at all around the edges. I had residential tint in a previous house and there were slight gaps around the edge in some places. That was not the same on any of the windows that Chris did. The overall experience has been amazing both times and this team has decades of experience. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to have any work done. Brent from Clear Bra North Dallas took my situation and turned it right-side up and I couldn't be happier! I had a bad experience with a mobile company that applied a clear bra on my 2018 Corvette Z06. My car had a paint protection film on it when I purchased it, so I knew that the mobile company had not applied it properly. In fact, they scored into the clear coat during their application. So, I needed to find someone else. I found Brent and Clear Bra North Dallas online, gave him a call and made a trip out to see him. His shop was extremely clean and everyone was very courteous and professional. Brent told me about the PPF products he uses and explained in detail what his application process was.
