We needed to make a trip to Canon City anyway so we brought the Jeep into their new storefront but they were even willing to bring their mobile repair unit all the way to the sleepy little town of Westcliffe CO to repair the windshield in the Jeep. That alone is something to take note of. We'd called several places with mobile repair units and no one else was willing to do that. The glass repair itself was done in no time (about 2 hours) and looks fantastic. It was so clear, it was hard to convince my brain there was even glass in front of me.

We're very happy with the work completed by Crack Attack Auto Glass and recommend them to others…read more Vadim was quick to respond to my voicemail, quoted a reasonable rate for convenient service at my home, and scheduled my appointment sooner than most of his competitors. He very skillfully and carefully replaced a windshield and recalibrated lane departure on one car plus repaired multiple rock chips on another car. For our windshield replacement, Vadim coached us to buy the aftermarket glass to save money and we're glad we did. It's been months later and his windshield replacement as well as his rock chip repair have proven to be perfect. For the windshield, we've not seen any defects in the glass, not seen any leaks, and not heard any additional wind noise from the new windshield. For the rock chips, we have not seen any spread from these and his repair work has held up well. Thank you Vadim!

Then I was told I would have to pay out of pocket, followed by another explanation that it would be partially covered (materials only, not labor), and finally that it wasn't covered at all. The lack of clear communication and constantly changing information was frustrating. I was also told I would receive a follow-up call, which never happened. What should have been a simple glass replacement turned into a waste of time. I ultimately found a local company that completed the work for about half the cost and was much easier to work with. They were also far more professional and friendly compared to the technician who came out, who seemed uninterested and was not particularly courteous.
