The shop also offers alignments and towing services for our customers. History
Established in 2017.
Mahnke Auto Body was founded in 1975 by Gary and Judy Mahnke. The first shop in Arvada and has since grown to eight locations. Mahnke Salida opened in January, 2018. Sam Mahnke, CEO was proud to acquire the respected establishment of Clyde's Auto Body from Rick Shovald. The shop is beautifully designed for efficiency and with an outstanding, easy to find location a few blocks from downtown Salida.
Mahnke has introduced high tech repair capabilities to meet the demands of the newest vehicle technology, including aluminum repairs.
Regardless of the decade, make, or model, Mahnke provides its customers with safe and proper repairs, returning vehicles to original manufacturer specifications. Whether removing a dent so that the tailgate closes properly or frame straightening and extensive rebuilding, Mahnke can do it. Mahnke warranties all work for as long as the owner keeps the vehicle. Brandon Wrigley's vision for Mahnke Auto Body Salida is to be the community focused auto body shop in the area, combining cutting edge technology with dependable, friendly service.
"Helping folks is the way of the small town." Brandon wishes to help the community and Mahnke's customers, "with every chance we get."
Growing up in Salida, Brandon worked for Rick Shovald at Clyde's Auto Body throughout High School, going on to graduate from Metropolitan State University in Denver.
Sam Mahnke purchased Clyde's in 2017, keeping the friendly, small town service and adding a big investment in training, equipment, products, and Manufacturers Certifications. Brandon was promoted to GM in 2020.
