This is my updated review for High Point Cleaning Services:…read more I was completely ripped off by High Point Cleaning Services. They charged me $400 for a basic move-out clean and took advantage of me. When I went to check the rental afterward, I found that they didn't clean the baseboards, windowsills, or walls--things that should have been deep cleaned, especially given the list they provided stating those areas would be cleaned. The only things they actually cleaned were the stove, fridge, bathrooms, kitchen, and they vacuumed. They had two cleaners in there for seven hours. What were they even doing for seven hours? I could've cleaned this myself, one person in four hours, and had it looking spotless. To make matters worse, one of the employees had the nerve to comment on how "disgusting" and "hairy" the place was, which was completely untrue. This was a normal move-out clean for a 1,100 sq ft townhouse, and I was overcharged. I'm just relieved that personal belongings weren't in the home while they were there, because I wouldn't trust these people in my house or anyone else's with personal items. I do not recommend this company at all.

They are truly meticulous not only is our home spotless after every visit but they go the extra mile by organizing spaces like our pantry. Our house has never looked better and we genuinely look forward to their visit every two weeks. SO GRATEFUL

Only after getting in touch with LivingSocial, did Sandy attempt to get in touch with me. I called…read moreand left her a message for a fourth time today. She never did return my call, but did respond a few hours later to a text message. Thankfully, by then LivingSocial had already credited my account from the voucher I had purchased for We Clean Homes. I will find a more reputable service to clean my houses from now on. We Clean Homes is a complete waste of time.

We Clean Homes cleaned our house today, and also helped us with a move-out cleaning last Fall. They…read moredid a spectacular job both times. They are punctual, pleasant, and hard-working . . . unlike so many fly-by-night cleaning "companies" out there! For today's service, we used a Living Social voucher that included three hours of cleaning. She thoroughly scrubbed the kitchen and two baths, dusted, and cleaned all the wood and tile floors; although she didn't make it to another room we wanted serviced, and didn't get around to the vacuuming, the work seemed quite reasonable for three hours' time. I think our magic number will be four. Unlike the regular cleanings, move-out cleanings are scheduled by the hour, $35 for two people or $18-$20 for one. When we moved last fall, we were both working full time and I was just pregnant enough that most smells, including cleaning solutions, made me vomity. We Clean Homes was a godsend. She stayed for over six hours and cleaned everything from the oven to the baseboards to the blades on the ceiling fan. Our landlord loved us. We are really looking forward to bi-weekly, four-hour service going forward (with two full time jobs, furry pets, and a baby on the way, it's a luxury that feels like a necessity!).

First hired Utah Maids in late spring of last year to do a deep clean, and I was especially…read moreimpressed with the cleaning of the oven and fridge. They both looked brand new! Now we have them clean every month. It has been such a relief for me as I'm disabled, which makes cleaning very painful and difficult. We have the same cleaner come every month, she works very hard, does a good job, and my cat likes her! All in all a great experience every time. I love the ease of their online appointment system. It makes quick work of setting, canceling, or amending appointments. Even tipping can be added online.

Re: the owner, Jaron H.'s reply. Yes, Utah Maids did reach out as soon as possible and got in touch with my husband who booked the services. They scheduled a re-clean if the house and refunded us $25. For that I added a star for good customer service. We appreciate you trying. I'll remove my photos from the review.

I recently scheduled a cleaning service to clean a client's home; however, the cleaner did not meet…read moreexpectations and failed to complete any actual cleaning. They informed my client that the home was "too dirty" and that they could not handle the job. This situation is unacceptable especially after requesting and paying for a deep clean. To make matters worse, "Mike" has since stopped responding to calls. This level of unprofessionalism and lack of communication is deeply concerning. I strongly advise others to consider taking their business elsewhere. Reliable communication and accountability are the bare minimum clients should expect.

Look out Salt Lake! We have a new excellent service available!…read more My company has hired Certain Clean for cleaning out a rented office space before turning it back over to the owner. We are so excited by how available and eager they have been! I'm grateful for the work they put in, and I will upload pictures as soon as I can. The workers we had working in this building (our construction crew) left it astonishingly dirty. We're talking gross. Where we were unable to succeed in cleaning it after they left, Certain Clean went above and beyond and really saved our behinds! They come HIGHLY recommended from me, and I will be spreading the word with my colleagues for upcoming projects. Please don't hesitate to work with them; they are kind, hardworking, and an enthusiastic option for your cleaning service needs. And all communication I've done with them has been prompt and responsive!

Our experience with this company has been horrible in my opinion. When we hired them, we asked…read morethem to throw away any trash in the bathrooms only. We were just moving into the house and had already brought over several car loads full of items. When we came back home after the cleaners were done, to our utter shock, our entire house was empty. The cleaners had taken everything...framed family photos, computers, speakers, jewelry, flowers, food...the house was empty. Even though we had only told them to clean the kitchen and the bathrooms, they had proceeded to remove everything from the house. They never called or texted to ask for clarification if they were confused about what to take. When we called the company to tell them that all our belongings were missing, they initially denied taking anything, but we luckily have cameras all over the house and had footage of them taking everything. They eventually admitted that they did take all of our stuff but said it was a mistake. They brought most of our possessions back in black garbage bags, but we still had items missing, including brand new housewarming orchids that were thrown in the trash and food from the fridge. Notably, we had an expensive speaker missing, and we witnessed one of the cleaners actually taking the speaker out from her purse when confronted by police in our home. We are still missing a very expensive ring that was on the counter when the cleaners were there, but was gone, just like everything else, when we returned. The ring was never returned to us. My experience with one of the managers or owners (Scott Whittle) of the company about this entire situation has been extremely unnerving to me. He has accused me of extortion, when I simply said that I intend to press charges if the ring is not recovered. That is not extortion; I have a right to press charges if my property was taken without my permission. He also suggested that his employees wanted to confront me at my place of work but that he advised them to "act professionally." I'm honestly worried about my safety at this point. And the most bizarre thing happened; he accused me of racism out of absolutely no where. No customer should feel this way after hiring a cleaning company to clean their home, and then coming to an empty home with all of your belongings missing. I will obviously never use this company again, nor can I recommend them to anyone else.

American Housekeeping changed the formula for one of their cleaning products (the bathroom cleaner,…read moreI believe they told me) and used it in our home without telling us of the change. Because of the allergies and sensitivity of one of our dogs, this ingredient change resulted him in losing all the fur on the underside of his body and severely red, itchy, swollen paws. American Housekeeping was understanding when I called to cancel my service because of this product reformulation. They admitted the product had been changed, but felt it was unnecessary to let customers know. I realize the case with our dog is extreme. Previously, I had been using them for two years in two different houses and felt they were always punctual, affordable and did a good job.

I want to preface this by saying I DID NOT use their services. This is just my experience with…read moretheir communication and having them come to my home for a quote. First bad sign - they did not read the details if my project where I clearly stated this was a hoarder (non biohazard) situation. Second bad sign is they didn't respond back when they said they would. The response was no, they can't do the job after reading the details and looking at pics. The response was something I expected and was no big deal. Third bad sign is that they called me on labor day, having changed their minds and they had enough people willing to do the job, but they had to do it THAT DAY. I was already questioning their commitment to helping me, so I let them know I would talk to other companies because companies have canceled on me before. They said they wouldn't cancel use "if we say we'll do a job, we actually do it." I said OK, just let me speak to the other company who would be coming to do a visual quote in 3 hours. I gave them my maximum budget, and they said they were OK with what I set. Forth bad sign: I called them back and said I would be willing to work with them. Then they said they would need to come visually inspect to give me a quote, which was weird, because they already agree to the price I set. Final bad sign was that they came to do the visual and barely stepped foot into my house. They looked disgusted, and like they had no intention of doing the job. One of the women said they would step outside to discuss, but I was already prepared for a NO. THEY DROVE OFF INSTEAD OF LETTING ME KNOW WHAT THEY DECIDED. I had to text them and ask "So, you drove away - I'm guessing that's a no?" They immediately messaged back, saying they wouldn't be doing the job. Long story short, they flip-flop, don't keep their word, waste your time, don't pay attention to detail and, in my opinion are dishonest. A simple no, was fully expect and would have been appreciated instead of the run around I got.
