From the moment I walked in, he took the time to understand exactly how I wanted everything to fit instead of rushing through the measurements. I brought in quite the assortment too: a Filson trucker jacket, a pair of raw denim jeans, and my Red Wing Iron Rangers. He was confident in his recommendations while still making sure the final result matched what I was looking for. You can tell Jay takes pride in his craft, and that level of experience gave me a lot of confidence leaving my favorite pieces in his hands. Customer service like his is hard to come by, and it made the entire experience enjoyable. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is the price. The total came out to around $340, which definitely caught me off guard. To his credit, Jay was kind enough to give me a discount on the jeans and only charged me $300 cash, which I really appreciated. Quality craftsmanship isn't cheap, and I understand you're paying for experience. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this business…read more I took my shoes in for repair and they told me they would be ready the next week. Unfortunately, because they are only open during regular work hours, I wasn't able to make it on the day they said they would be ready. I came the next day at 3:30 when they supposedly close at four, but they were already closed. I came back the next week at 3:30 and again they were closed. I returned the next day on Saturday around 11 AM and again they were closed. I finally was able to pick them up three weeks later and when I arrived, I was chastised for having left my shoes there for so long despite having tried to pick them up three times already. They told that I have to come on the day they say they'll be ready for pick up which is impossible for me since I work at a 9 to 5. The WORST PART is that in addition to the difficulties of obtaining my shoes after repair, they aren't even fixed. The FIRST time I put them on the glue came undone. See photo. So now I paid $30 for nothing
