Horrible service. they make up prices per customer, even if it's the same service. My two friends and I are both getting the same dressed altered all 3 of us just needed our dresses shortened and all 3 of us got different prices! I have been going here for years and it progressively has gone downhill. Most recently they cleaned a large pillow for me...when I came home and looked at it I realized it had black spots all over it. When I opened the bag it was wet and almost had a slimy feel to it. I called and they were closed. I took it back next time I made it to the area and the wife told me she believed it was because they leave it by the window and maybe the bag had gotten moisture from the quick temperature changes. She told me she'd call after they try to fix it. No call. I went in to pick it up and they did try to clean it but it still has some residual spots. At this point she informed it was my fault because I probably got it wet or left it sit in the car. She continued on to inform her husband thinks I am a liar that I did something to the pillow. Save yourself some time, I decided to come here for my 3 North-face jackets and thought it was over priced but decided to get them cleaned anyway. When picking them up I noticed the jackets still had the same stains almost as if not cleaned or in my opinion just a overall bad job. What really set me off is the Lady behind the counter explain they could wash it again "BUT" we will need to add extra charge because we under charged you the first time............. That was it. I have been going to this cleaner for 19 years. Had 2 $125 formal dresses each altered due to length and asked for a simple stitch. One dress was done right with one single stitch to connect the two straps. The other dress a mistake was made which was noticeable. The person who wrote down the instructions called the day before and said the seamstress made a mistake on the other dress can you come in and try it on. No, I'm sorry we cannot. The two straps were cut by mistake. When picking them up they reattached the two straps and you can see the mistakes that were made. I explained that the integrity of the dress is not the same, the "mistakes" you said were made yesterday are clearly seen and she has short hair. You can see it. She rudely walked away without any customers and said there was nothing wrong with the dress. We tried the on and yes it dress fit because it fit before. The straps were sewn back together like a broken ceramic cup glued back together and again (and it should be smooth). I had explained that my daughter has short hair so you can see it and the integrity of the dress is not the same. She said "well I did not see it and she should try it back on". She knew she had short hair. She was right in front of her. I was quiet when the first customer came in. Another customer came in and I restated, you said you made a mistake, admit the fact you made a mistake, say sorry and do something about it. These are expensive dresses and a mistake was made. This was the same person who took the instructions, called to say a mistake was made, walked away several times dismissing my claim. She said she has stuff to do and extremely dismissive and rude but had the time to easily address and provide customer service and resolution when no one was present. I explained to another customer who walked in and she said "I agree with you". She finally then said "fine I'll take off $10". She is the same person who wrote the instructions down so it was her poor instructions that caused the issue. I still paid $120 for the alteration. As a long time customer, I am truly disappointed with the lack of empathy, quality, lack of effort to provide customer service for a mistake they made. ****Do not go there for alterations and elsewhere if you would like better customer service**** read more

I don't often post a critical review of a business, but sometimes it is warranted............ This weekend was Homecoming & in preparation for the event I took my son's clothes to get pressed at the dry cleaners. When he was getting ready on Saturday he called me up to see his shirt with this discoloration on it! It was on the back of his shirt & obviously would have looked like crap. Thankfully he had another clean dress shirt. So I put it on my to-do list to bring the shirt back to the cleaners & talk to them. So this morning I went in to show them. My hope/expectation was that they would have paid to replace the shirt. If they had done so I wouldn't be writing this as I would have chalked it up to a mistake & one that was resolved. Instead the reaction I received was defensive & I was informed that it was not possible. The employee even went so far at one point to tell me that it was a brand new shirt that I had purchased like that - until I pulled out the receipt to show her it was cared for there. So the result was that they would not admit fault & would not replace the item. Pretty disappointing & certainly has lost any future business from us. read more

This place is very honest. My husband frequently forgets money and credit cards in his pockets. They are always returned.

if I can give this business a -0 I totally would!! be aware!!! they have decent prices but they are so rude!!! you pay for what you get and I have learned my lesson!!! DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! They have lost several items of clothing and they never owned up to it! they finally owned up the fact that they lost my dress since last AUGUST the worker there kept telling me to come back the following week because she was "looking for my dress" after several months I told her that I wanted my money for my items lost! she paid me but then charged my card for the item she LOST!!!!!!!!!! when I tried to get my money back, she was so rude and started yelling at me telling me to get out of there. I then attempted to call the owner to let her know what was going on and she didn't even bother to call me back. when I finally got a chance to speak to her over the phone, she said "sorry I cant help you" and flat out disconnected the call. take your business somewhere else!!!! this is the reason why you have to pay upfront! because if they loose your stuff or damage it they already have their money!!! I would rate this zero stars if I could, one of the worst cleaners. They ruined a nice winter coat and refused to even try and compensate for it or come to some sort of agreement. The woman behind the counter is clearly a fool since I was a long time customer of theirs(which even the woman admitted to) so you would think that in order to keep a long time customer you might try to have some sort of better business practice or customer service. I will never ever go here again and will tell everyone I know not to go to this ramshackle hole in the wall with a fool for a manager or whatever she is. read more
