The person who ended up coming to clean my apt was named Emanuele, too. Not sure if they're padding their reviews? --1bd1ba quoted at $160, including laundry and fridge cleaning and assuming biweekly cleaning and me having pets. --I was charged $160, with Emanuele saying the kitchen cleaning (which did include alot of dishes) was as much effort as laundry and fridge cleaning. --Cleaning for almost 3 hours was spend in the kitchen and bathroom (with that bathroom not being terribly bad), with only vacuum/mopping done in the living room, bedroom, dinning area, office area, living room and hallway. No dusting no tiding up no nothing else but the floor for these areas. No windows or inside oven cleaning. Cleaning was not impacted by my pets (2 dogs (not home) and my cat) aside from a few of their dishes. No couch cleaning due pet hair or otherwise. Again, still was told $160 and I don't like to negotiate. --Microwave was not cleaned (inside, plate, outside glass) and some dishes were missed --Dishes were put back into cabinets haphazardly; bowls put in all different places as well as cups. --Bathroom splash was not cleaned, counter not fully cleans, things not picked up off floor. --Tub curtain was not placed back properly --Trash was taken out but no bags were refilled --Kitchen floor mats/fatigue maps not cleans I also reached out to Americana with some feedback before giving this review, but the lone response of "Hi Casey, thanks for your feedback. This is way we ask clients to walk the rooms and approve the job after each clean." was all I was told. I scheduled an appointment today to have my house cleaned at 9AM. The cleaning ladies pulled up and parked in my guest parking at 8:58am. They didn't get out of their car so I assumed since they were 2 mins early I wasn't going to walk out there to give them a guest parking pass until they knocked on the door at 9am. 9am came around and they were still sitting in their car and started eating their breakfast. Why are you eating your breakfast when you have an appointment at 9am? Shouldn't you eat breakfast before an appointment? I waited for a few mins contemplating if I should go outside and give them the guest parking pass and ask them how long they will be until they finish their breakfast. The time now is 9:08am so I decided to call. I don't know who I spoke to but I spoke to a gentlemen and asked if my appointment was still for 9am. He said he was going to check and call me back. I can see out the window that the cleaning ladies looked at their phone but didn't answer because their hands were full of food. So he called me back after a couple mins and said the girls will be there in 5 mins. I said how do you know if they are going to be there in 5 mins when they didn't answer your call? And why would it take them 5 mins when they are sitting outside of my house for the last 20 mins? He then proceeded to have an attitude and said "do you want them to clean or not"?! I said why are you upset with me when my appointment is at 9:00am and why do I need to keep waiting?! You're very unprofessional!" He then hung up on me!!! Disgusting!!! I wasn't Home , home , I asked my relative to check and guide and make sure they don't leave unless it's clean , she didn't pay attention on their work and here you go, but cmon no matter what U provide service and you could of be alone while u cleaning , so if it wasn't supervisor u have to just get money and do bare minimum??? I chose to go with Diverse, because Roland came to our apartment and did an on-site survey and gave us a very fair quote upon inspection of our 2 story unit. We had our whole apartment cleaned.... living room, dining room, stairs, and two bedrooms. Despite it being a terrible day for carpet cleaning due to the weather (rain), Diverse did an excellent job. They really take the time to do things right! They vacuum the whole place first, then do a pre-wash & scrub, and finally a hot water extraction. Roland also threw in the spot treatment and deodorizer for free. We chose to go with an organic cleaner, over the traditional cleaner, because of our new born coming on the way. It got all the stains out no problem. The carpets dried pretty quickly, even with the bad weather. I will definitely use their service again, and highly recommend them! Super friendly and a pleasure to do business with.
