With my hectic six day work week, which often includes night shifts, it is such a relief to always know I can rely on this establishment to pick up, wash, dry, fold, hang, and deliver back my laundry, which is always warm and smelling fresh upon receipt. I've gotten to know some of the staff and ownership pretty well, and it's always nice to stop and chat with them after a busy work week. They are EXTREMELY professional, down-to-earth, friendly, and very hard-working, even in the midst of a pandemic that has decimated Staten Island. I sent expensive, highly concentrated laundry detergent, and the entire bottle was used on three loads. Wasting my money, TWICE. The disregard for my personal property is outrageous. I'm sure they have no intention of refunding me hundreds of dollars for the early destruction and replacement of my fine garments that I specifically said were meant to be hung up to dry. These included wool, cashmere, and silk. The advertising is a lie. You can send instructions, but you will be LUCKY if anyone reads or follows them. I will never use this company again. They treat their customers with no respect. The owner can be extremely nasty. I've seen his nasty side a few times with different customers. I had my own incident with him as well. For every 3 quarters you put in there's a 50 percent chance the drier will turn on and work for 4 minutes and not dry your clothes. The owner and staff field complaints by saying you dropped the coin in too fast or too slow but it's always the same result. You will never know how many quarters it will take to turn on and if your clothes will be dry even though the sign says 7.5 minutes for 25 cents. Always always frustrating.

Yesterday the owner Ken had the nerve to get annoyed when I asked to exchange 10 singles for a 10 dollar bill for the coin machine. I have put up with the poor behavior due to proximity to my home, parking and no requirement to purchase a card add money to use the newer type machines. Because I do not have on site laundry unfortunately I have limited options due to time and finances. I am concerned with an operation that is strictly cash and even more concerned when the owners are not helpful and rude. They do not allow dryer use if you do not use washing machine on site so if your dryer is broken this location is not an option. They also charge $18 up front for comforters, the machine is $9.00 with probably $1.25 to dry (just an fyi). I am giving this establishment a two because I like the machines....when they are working. There is no air conditioning and the store is very cramped and difficult to maneuver on a busy day.
