Very nice size place. Lots of wahsers. 3 different sizes and very nice space of dryers. The woman there was working and she was busy but stopped to take care of customers I needed change and she was very kind to help me. I needed to go here to do a small amount of wash Due to the big storm I didn't want to run my own machines at home at this time. This was my very first time coming here and I had a nice experience. seating is provided and tables for folding also . change machine available everything went well. I've been going here for years. I liked it at first because the owner and workers keep the place very clean. Unfortunately, they don't know anything about good customer service. They treat their customers with no respect. The owner can be extremely nasty. I've seen his nasty side a few times with different customers. I had my own incident with him as well. His machine dirtied my clean sheets that I had just washed when it got stuck in the dryer holes. To be fair, I will mention that he did allow me to wash it again free of charge, but having already dried it as well, I also inquired about the dryer charge. He answered me in a very nasty way, asking if he had to pay for drying too...? He then threw three quarters my way and continued to complain under his breath. If I had known that would have been his reaction, I would have just taken the loss. I was so embarrassed. Another incident took place with one of his employees. While my clothes were washing, she started cleaning the machine my clothes were in, spraying water and using a brush to clean out the dispenser. All the grime was going down on my clothes. I asked her to please wait until my clothes was finished washing and she outright refused and kept on cleaning. Needless to say, I was extremely upset. I stopped going on the days she works there but my patience with the place has definitely run out. The other lady turns the light offs on you and make you feel like you are committing a crime if you go just five minutes past closing time. I'm definitely on the lookout for another laundry mat. read more

I had to use a laundromat since I'm waiting for my new washing machine to be delivered so I came here last night and the Spanish lady w the dark hair was extremely rude and gave me an attitude because I came 10 minutes after 7:30 to do my clothes (they don't allow washes after 7:30 which I didn't know) she didn't have to be so rude about it she even waited by the door til I left like relax it's not that serious this isn't a fucking club. never coming here again. read more

Did drop off service. They lost some of my clothes when I asked the male owner he had a very bad attitude! I was inquiring in case they forgot to give me a bag. I dropped off 56 pounds of laundry and left with one laundry bag and usually they give me two. The male owner was horribly nasty for no reason. I asked them nicely if they can look, he immediately was disrepectful instead of looking. Never going there again. read more

I usually just come here to wash my blankets cause my washer is too small. Lots of my machines and very clean. Has lots of folding space.

I've been going here for two years but after today I'll be taking my business elsewhere. Came here this morning to do my laundry and the door was closed which it never is. I was alone and carrying two huge heavy bags in so I put the stopper on the door and went to get my coins really quickly. The only worker who was there, some rude lady, yelled at me to close the door. I said "No problem just give me one second to get my change" because the money was already dispensing. If she would have left it at that, I would have nothing bad to say. But she decided to snarkily add "Did I open the door or did YOU?" I said once again, "I did, and I said give me one second to get my change." I don't appreciate getting treated with attitude at 8:00 in the morning, so for that I'll go up the block instead. read more

While going through a home renovation project, we found ourselves without our laundry machines for a few weeks. We found this place and decided to give it a try. They have tons of machines in varying sizes. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon and it was relatively quiet (not what we were used to when living in Brooklyn!). The machines are kind of pricy when you think about it ($8 for an XL load, $5.75 for a large load, $4.50 for a medium load, and $3 for a small load). It costs $0.25 for every 6 minutes in the dryer. This place is very clean and efficient. Cash only, they have a quarter machine. It can get warm, but they have ceiling fans and benches. If your machine is out (or you don't have one) I recommend this place, even if it's pricy. read more

I'm not one to write reviews ever but I'm just so disappointed. i've lived in the heartland village neighborhood of s.i for over 10 years and bi- weekly did about $50-80 in laundry here with mostly drop off service and occassional manually as well. So you can imagine how much money they have made off of me over many years. I truly appreciate the ladies there that do the actual laundry and I always left them a $4 to $5 in the tip jar. THANK YOU TO THE LADIES WHO BUST THEIR BUTTS TO MAKE THIS PLACE THE ONLY REASON why I wanted to try to go back here after a year of not using them due to the BAD ATTITUDE OF THE OWNER HIMSELF and the night staff. BUT I WONT BE GOING BACK EVER AGAIN nor recommending them to anyone anymore!!!! The male owner has TERRIBLE ,TERRIBLE manners! Also, a BAD ATTITUDE and ZERO patience! ( However his son and family have been plesant to deal with over the years.) I dropped off 4 separate bags of laundry, one belonging to a different person. I AM PAYING ACCORDINGLY .95 cents per lb. & $10 minimum for any bag less than 8lbs. My ticket was $48 prepaid and I added a $5 tip. When I went to pick up the bags there was only 3. I simply said I am missing a 4th bag and the night guy there was not helpful, like oh well. The owner with a terrible attitude started complaining. Weighed the bags and said that is it, that's the weight. I said ok then where is my 4th blue bag with all my black work clothes? I was given more negative attitude from both parties and I asked to see if I can help point out the bag behind the desk but was told I was not allowed to. So the owner made a scene, opened my bags and pointed out it was all in there. Ok that is Great!! Thank goodness all the stuff is accounted for!! Now...... all he had to do was nicely say that from the beginning instead of making a big scene and charade!!!!!!! HOWEVER, WHY WERE THE BAGS WASHED TOGETHER? This is not sanitary practice when people under the same roof are not related but rather roommates. I paid accordingly. My bags should have been washed separate. As hes complaining he walks over to a teeny tiny printed taped note about the size of a fortune cookie paper and about 3 inches wide, under the ledge of the counter amongst other very teeny tiny notes that are not clearly seen nor verbally stated when the bags are dropped; stating about mixing bags ( nor did I try to read it after he nastily pointed it out, because it's seriously a joke at how small the note was and its placement.) ITS SAD, because his lack of good customer service, never a smile, never a nice attitude.. I'm going to take my money BACK to WHITE STAR LAUNDRY ON AMBOY ROAD & RICHMOND AVE WHERE THEY DO A GOOD JOB BUT WITH A PLEASANT ATTITUDE ALWAYS!! THE OWNER AT WHITE STAR, EVEN WHEN EXHAUSTED AT THE END OF THE DAY IS SOOOOO FRIENDLY AND PLESANT, AND ID RATHER GIVE MY MONEY TO A BUSINESS OF HARD WORKERS WHO ARE STILL GOOD PEOPLE!!!!! Oooh... AND THEIR DROP OFF SERVICES ARE A BIT CHEAPER THAN B&B. YOU SHOULD CHECK THEM OUT!!! read more

I love this laundromat. It's clean and the staff is very helpful plus the drop off service is great. They use Tide and Downy, I've never had a shrunken piece of clothing, it's relatively inexpensive, they fold my clothes similar to what you'd see in a mall store, and they're quick. It takes 24 hours (sometimes less) to get freshly laundered items. read more

I found this place clean and spacious. Easy parking and convenient to other places so you get stuff done while clothes are washing. Plenty of table space for folding clothes and nice carts with the rod at the top so you can place your clothes on hangars as you take them from the dryer. Prices are a bit higher than Coral but there is a better assortment of washing machine sizes and more dryers. The driers actually dry your clothes and they have an automatic brake on the drum so when you open the dryer the drum stops immediately. The staff are helpful but don't annoy you. This place is one of the cleanest laundromats I've been to. Also pretty spacious. It's a good location with a dunkin donuts a few doors down. Very happy with the service! read more
