I love this place!! Every time I go to do my laundry, it's always clean. The machines are pretty new and they do an excellent job cleaning and washing clothes. I have been going there since they opened, a little after the pandemic. I live a little far away but I don't mind driving for 20 min to do my laundry. Their staff chances often but most of the staff are super friendly and the ones that aren't, I don't see them anymore. I highly recommend this place! It's super clean! This is my laundry mat. Never any issues here. Everything is always clean. The workers here are always so nice. There's no cash on site, ATM inside, clean rite card needed for machines. 24hrs as well. I haven't done the laundry service i usually do my own. However they always have lots of people dropping off and picking up so that's a good sign. read more

I had the worst and most insulting experience today at Clean Rite. While doing four loads of clothes I asked the attendant to open the bathroom. She said the bathroom is for customers only. I said I am a customer what makes you think I'm not. She then said no you have to be doing laundry now. I said I am doing laundry now. She then stood there staring at me smirking and refusing to open the door. I then spoke to the manager who was witnessing this entire interaction and didn't intervene until I became irate. The manger apologized and offered to open the door. I find it funny that the Hispanic attendant later opened the door for a Hispanic male without questioning him as to whether or not he was a customer. I turned in my laundry card which still had money on it because I will never patronize that or any clean rite again. I am an Honorably discharged United States Army Veteran. I currently work at the VA serving my fellow veterans and this country. I shouldn't be discriminated against by someone that isn't even from this country or anyone else for that matter. if Immigrants want to be accepted in this country they should begin by accepting ALL People of All Races not just the ones that are from the country they are from. Horrible place. They were in charge of washing my 100$ feather jacket. I made sure HUMANS did it too because i didnt trust the machines. They promised that the material (feather) wouldnt be ruined. Guess what. It was ruined. Whats even worse was that they couldnt do anything about it and so i lost 130 dollars today. (30 washing fee) read more

Always a good experience with drop off. They even found and kept my debit card when they found I had mistakenly included it in the laundry bag. I get my clothes pressed smelling great and in separate bags so I can easily unpack undies and socks vs. Pants and shirts. I do my own laundry here as well if I need it quickly. Drop off typically requires at least a day before you can get it back, as far as I know there is no same day. It's all cashless. Staff is pleasant. The place is clean and there's always empty washers and driers so I dont have to stand around waiting. Parking is pretty easy and sometimes I stick around and sometimes I leave and come back. The longest I've left clothes in a machine was an hour past the drying time. read more

This place is pretty clean and machine look new and there is a small parking lot in the back but it's every man for himself in the parking lot. As for the drop off service it's horrible. The staff are inexperienced and just don't show any effort to care. I try the place a few times. It was like one bad experience after another. The clothes smell like there were just washed with water and no soap added , my towels smelled so bad and what makes it worse I found a bulk of woman hair between my towels and for folding your laundry. It's folded and throw back in your bag nothing separated or organized. You'll find one of your socks in the bottom one in the middle and one on top anyways for a big company as clean rite I expected so much more but never again I'll stick with the local laundry mates in the area at least they care. read more

This is THE best place to do your laundry especially if you use the drop off service. Our clothes away smell amazing and are extremely clean when we pick them up. They fold all the clothes so neatly and package them separately in clear plastic so you can see what's what. This is the best service I've found on the island so far if you don't want to do your laundry yourself. HOURS- their hours are one of the biggest pros to this place. Some days they're open 24 hours which is really convenient. MACHINES- They have all types of different machines and sizes if you want to do your own laundry. They have some machines that are so big we were able to fit two weeks worth of laundry in it with room to spare. PRICES - They charge $12 for the first nine pounds but it's cheaper if you do more. We usually pay around $40 every two weeks. NOTE- cash free facility so you can only use card. It also works like a metro card where you have to pay $1 for a new card and then refill it by debit/credit. read more

Tried this place to see if any better than the one I normally go to. Place is clean and they fold fine but no hang dry, do pick up/delivery, and when I was trying to get an answer the attendant couldn't take the time to put his sandwich down to respond. Loveeee how clean and bright this place is! Staff is helpful and there's always machines available. Prices are great too! Only downside is the parking lot, they never removed the old parking lines and people tend to park and block the exit/entrance as there's only one way in or out...super annoying. read more

So very clean!! Wow! I'm so impressed upon my first visit. The washers are clean, the sink was clean, the floors clean - I loved it! The super giant load washers start at $7.99 - which fit my clothes, my son's clothes and the sheets, blankets and towels for the house. Every tv is set to a different channel so you're not stuck watching what one person might want to watch lol Next time I have a ton of clothes to wash (I hope not), I won't use my private laundromat - I'll definitely come here! read more

I come in with my girlfriend a few times every month and I have to say this is one of the cleanest laundromats I've ever been to. The machines and floors are always sparkling. I usually come at night time and I always see the young man and ladies cleaning. The staff are very helpful too, I think the young woman's name was Jay, she helped me save some money with some of the soap bundles they have and she sold me two bags as well! She never looked annoyed when I asked questions about the pricing of the items. Also I lost some of the money from my card to the machine, she helped me with that as well! Everyone has a pleasant attitude at this place. It's a little more expensive than most places but because of the reasons I've stated, I will continue to come here. Bravo Clean Rite! read more

I went to the location at Bay Street in Staten Island on 5/7/2020 until approximately 7 p.m. I inadvertently left some clothes in the washing machine. I called this morning at 10 a.m. to say I left clothes and wanted to come pick them up. The Clean Rite rep said that she did not see any clothes when she came in. I asked her to check and she said they are not there and that the guy who cleans at night probably put them in the container outside. I asked her was the container a dumpster and she said yes. I went there at about 10:30 a.m. and told her I was the woman who called. She became very nasty right away - when I finished telling her my problem, she said, "Are you done?" Then she told me she can't be holding clothes for people and most people don't even want us touching their clothes, and I don't know who is coming back and who is not. I have left clothes in a laundry before and they were always there the next day. This is my first time washing at this location and it will be my last. I had dropped my clothes off to be washed at this location before, but the last time they ruined an expensive sweater. I brought the sweater in to show her why I was washing my own clothes. She said, "About your 2nd issue - people have to read the tags to see if it could be put in the dryer. We don't have room to hang things up! A lady brought in 3 coats this week that said dry clean only! Then you want to get mad at us because you didn't read!" I said the sweater could have been dried on no heat but someone obviously put it on high heat. She then said it would have burned up if it was on high heat. I then went out to the dumpster and there were no clothes inside. There was just laundry garbage - it was a small dumpster that had not been emptied and I felt all the 5 bags that were in there. I went back inside and told her they weren't in the dumpster. She said, "You looked in the container?!" I said yes and that I can see over into it because it is small. She said, "Oh, not that one, the other big white ones with the handles." I told her those are shrink-wrapped since Coronavirus started and there is a note on the front saying their employees are not picking up, so nothing can be left there. She said, "Oh, well I don't know." I then asked her to call the guy. She said he is probably sleeping. I said call to see. She then said he was a teenager and he is at school. I said schools were closed. She said online school. I said then he should be able to take a phone call. She said to leave my information (which I did not because she is was being nasty) and she would try to call him later. I saw many negative reviews after the fact, and now I see why they are there.
