On the positive, the staff are very friendly, pleasant and ready to assist. I appreciate Ruth helping me. The vending machines are the down side of this business. The store owned machines take cards only and are faulty with no recourse for error. I lost $10 after being charged twice trying to reload the laundry card. I was also charged $7.00 for a bag of Roma laundry detergent that cost $3.26. I was told the money would be returned to my credit card, but it was not returned until I disputed the charge with the bank. Washing clothes at a laundromat should not be this complicated. read more

Ive reached out to corporate and the manager Ruth several times about dryer #21 burning my because no one responded to my first complaint. Ruth the manager is giving me the run around she has seen my burnt items . Over a month has passed and I have yet to be compensated for my loss due to your faulty machine. read more

I've been frequenting this laundromat for over a decade now. They have a plethora of machines so that there's always enough space to wash dry and fold your clothes. The employees are always pleasant are willing to help you if necessary. There is a bathroom that is accessible to everyone and outside people as well . There are many seats for customers to sit down and relax while waiting for their machines to finish . All in all this a great laundromat that provides various services to customer and has a very spacious parking lot as well. read more

2.5* This location has a parking lot which is a plus, but it's still a trek to the door when you don't have a wheeled cart. It has plenty of machine which is great when people leave there finished items in the machines for 30+ minutes. Cons: to many "out of order" signs. People, please stop dropping your crap on the floor for the one lady working there to clean up. I just saw this dude wipe off the folding table with his dryer sheet and then throw it on the floor. Really? All the food scraps and wrappers in the floor is disgusting. Please clean the seating areas, especially those nice comfortable black chairs. The dust and debris is ridiculous. And fix the TV's. Nobody is watching a blue screen. read more

I went this laundry in 4/10/2022. I been before but always smells molded. I tend to use lysol to clean out the machine before using anyway but on this day after I load my machines and went to add in the soap. I found black mold on the lid of the soap deposit top. I wish I can give this place a zero. I put $20 cash inside the card machine to put on my card. The machine took my money and didn't put it on my card. I told the worker (Nathaniel) about the issue. He came and tried to retrieve the money but was unsuccessful. Then he told me to call or wait for the manager. I waited for the manager to arrive to work. The manager name is Ruth. I told her that the money never got transferred to my card. She told me that "the machine doesn't keep the money. It returns the money or put it on the card." I told her that the money was never returned to me nor was it added to my card. Ruth asked me if I walked away from the machine. I told her that I went to get the worker, Nathaniel. He was working in the area next to the card machine. No one else was in the area with the card machine when I went to get Nathaniel, who was close at hand. She said, "Maybe someone walked away with it when I left." Based on her response, how can I get a staff member to assist me without walking away? Am I suppose to yell out? Luckily Nathaniel was close by today. I did not like how she was trying to insinuate that the missing money was my fault. Is it my fault the machine is not getting the monthly service it requires on a regular basis? I asked her to check the camera to support my claim. She said that she can't use the camera. She doesn't have access to it. Ruth kept repeating that the machine doesn't take money. Then I asked her for her boss' number since she can't help me. She refused to give it to me. She said that she was the manager and she doesn't have her boss' number. After refusing to give me the number, Ruth walked away. I did not appreciate how she spoke to me. She was rude and disrespectful. I also didn't like how she handle the situation. I have been a loyal customer for fifteen years. I don't like being accused of lying or stealing money when it was the company's product fault. If the machine was working correctly, this situation would never have happened. I recommend no one to go to this laundromat. They lose you items and state that they never loss your clothes. Make sure you take a pic of your items before you drop it off and save your receipt or take a pic. They loss my clothes twice that was expensive. This is run by black folks really old and some younger people. This establishment is unprofessional listen to me when I state do not go to this establishment. I am usually not a fan of laundromats, but this one definitely makes me reconsider! Clean Rite has plenty of dryers and washers and is very clean! ( A+++ for the inner OCD maniac in me). There are games machines to keep the children entertained and a variety of vending machines if you want to grab a snack. I would recommend buying your own laundry detergent though, before coming here, as the ones they sell here are pretty expensive! Overall great laundromat! read more

It's hard to hate on a laundromat that has a parking lot. This was one of my biggest concerns when I moved to the city: laundry. I happen to have a car and I do laundry once a week because, obviously, that's the most convenient thing to do when you have no laundry in your building. I've been coming to this Clean Rite location since I moved to Brooklyn and there's always washers and dryers available. If you need help, the staff will be happy to help you. Notably, there's nothing fancy about this laundromat - there are a few arcade games and there are TVs showing the news and movie channels - but other than that, its just lots of machines and a spacious parking lot. Been a customer at this Clean rite location for over 5 years on October 17 at 4am was doing laundry. Used two machines which cost $5.95 each, after putting in detergent took a seat and came back to check 10 minutes later. One machine was completed which is rapid, the next machine which started first was still spinning. After bring this to the attention of the overnight staff member(male),was told the machine that was still spinning was reported to morning staff but nothing had been resolved. There was no sign on the machine suggesting there was an issue. The staff member watched me put my clothing in the machine. At 4am there was 2 other people beside myself,the staff member could of suggested I use another machine. The staff member then went on to point out another machine that had a sign on it and was spinning. He then said the machines should all be looked at because they look good on the outside but are no good.I asked if I could rewash my clothing because at this point I felt uncomfortable and was not sure if my clothing was washed completely. Staff said this is not a situation that they would do such a thing. I asked when would they help. He said if the machine had stopped in the middle or the door opened. My clothes stopped washing after 10 minutes, these machines are not that fast, clearly this situation quailifies. I was instructed to speak to morning staff. 1. Place signs on broken machines or machines that was reported as troubled 2. Customer service matters. You are in business because of the customers. 3. Resolve the issue. If someone comes to the laundromat to do there laundry clearly they want clean clothing. Asking to rewash after a machine has only been spinning 10 minutes is not unreasonable. The clothing is not clean that fast. 4. Customers should not be redirected to morning staff for issues that could be solved in two minutes. 24 hours service needs to be 24 hours. 5. Spacious clean and lots of machines. It is open 24 hours. The chairs are comfortable and there is a lounge area. My only gripe is that the entrance to the parking lot is on St. Marks. Its easy to assume the parking entrance is on Eastern Parkway. read more

Every time I go to this Clean Rite the young woman who works there is rude. She doesn't greet you as you walk in, she talks to you like you're a child, and she's never much help. I like the large washer machines. I just hope they get more staff, and friendlier staff. read more

Very friendly staff. The gentleman at the front desk allowed me to use an outlet to charge my quickly dying phone. Clean and spacious. The laundry detergent is complementary and you get the dryers for free with any wash! There are televisions for passing the time while waiting for your clothes to be washed, and several coin operated games as well. I highly recommend :) read more

This location is spacious and clean. The parking lot is an added bonus. Multiple seating throughout is a plus, too. During my last visit one of the attendants was drying clothes and needed more dryers, more than the ones marked "reserved". It was very awkward having her hover while waiting for my clothes to dry. I couldn't get them out fast enough. There were other available dryers but she needed mine I guess. Solution - label more dryers reserved and not make customers feel rushed or uncomfortable for merely wanting their clothes to dry. I thought she was going to fall out when I added more time.
