    Immunity One was delicious!

A good find for organic & yummy juices, smoothies & food! The Immunity juice was good, and they added ginger for me. Staff was friendly, looking forward to try the sandwiches & salads!

Bland - Coffee kick & Peanut Butter Cup

Ordered the coffee kick and peanut butter cup. Absolutely bland. Asked them to remake or add more flavor to them and they tasted the exact same. No coffee flavor to the coffee kick and no flavor to the peanut butter. I've gotten food in the past that was decent but the smoothie was terrible and expensive.

Have had this ordered for our business twice and both times have been pretty good. The smoothies are delicious and very creative. I also tried their almond butter and banana toast, as well as the avocado toast. Both were really good but the almond butter toast was a little too sweet with lots of honey (I think) drizzled over it and you only get 1 slice of toast that is cut in half. It made for a very sticky toast but still good. This is a go to when I just want clean healthy options when in town!

My friend was craving an açaí bowl so we stopped here to get some to bring to the beach! I got the carrot cake bowl. I think it was pretty small for $14.12 but I love cinnamon and the fresh ingredients in it. I would honestly get it again for the flavors. I do think the store was most likely understaffed though which slowed down orders since it seemed like there was only one employee there for a Sunday afternoon.

I came back to clean juice a couple weeks ago and got an matcha smoothie bowl and smoothie. These items were significantly more satisfying than the wrap that I had in the past! With options to add protein and other additional healthy things, the bowls are perfect for a post workout snack. Pricey, but worth it and the ingredients are high quality. I'm glad I gave clean juice another chance and I'll probably come back one day! Service was great; smoothies and smoothie bowls are a good choice here. Still gonna steer clear of their savor foods, but hey that's chill with me.

My juice with ice (I asked them to blend that ice into it since they were going to put ice in it anyway).

Good organic juice bar but I have never paid so much for a juice ever! Not even in Aspen Colorado which is one of the most expensive places. Just paid $16.27 for a juice WITH ICE here at clean juice. They wanted more if I requested no ice I went for the ice.

    The Berry Bowl

A pretty decent juice spot, they have some good options although it's quite pricey! However, if you plan on going in the evening, their hours are inaccurate- went there on a Friday (supposedly open until 8) at 7:15 and the door was locked. Just something to keep in mind!

This place is so cute and kept clean! I like the menu selection/variety. The workers were all extremely friendly which was a bonus. Their menu (left to right) goes from least to most feeling. However was not fond off the granola it did not taste fresh as well as the coconut chips which takes stale. Image 1: Sign Image 2: The So Basic One 24oz - I took a sip from my friend it did not have a lot of flavor but the texture was smooth. It is a smoothie mixed with strawberries, banana, almond butter, maple syrup and almond milk. Image 3: The Recovery One - It is a protein smoothie which comes with strawberries, banana, almond milk, homey, almond butter. Image 4: The Berry Bowl - Was a little disappointed because I asked for no bananas and goji berries with extra strawberries and they forgot to takeout the goji berries. Image 5: The Beach Bowl - it is an açaí bowl which comes with bananas, pineapples, coconut oil, almond milk, granola and coconut chips. Image 6&7: Menu Parking: huge parking complex Covid: wear a mask!

Let review but the October menu at Clean Juice is amazing! I am not normally a pumpkin drink person but this one changed my mind! Very clean and great customer service

But we have yet had a bad experience here dining. My last visit my friend and I decided to share appetizers so we could try a variety of items and try a few things on the menu. Everything was so tasty! The onion rings were crispy and came with bbq sauce, one of my fav items we got! TIP: It is a good option to order for a large group, it is a large portion for $10. We also shared the burrata and tapenade, I like that it came with balsamic glaze for a savory and sweet effect. We got the Mac and cheese and added short rib. It was a really large portion too! It was as $15 for the Mac and + $9 for the short rib I believe which I didn't think was a bad price at all for what we given. We had a ton left over which will last us 2 days as a side dish for dinner later on. Buffalo wings came with 11 wings, they were garlicky and the buffalo sauce had great flavor. Overall this is always a great spot to drop by for dinner, drinks, and/or appetizers. It's easy going here, the staff is friendly and accommodating, and the food is delicious.

The sandwich was delicious, and the chipotle aioli was especially good--creamy, flavorful, and one of the better ones I've had. The sweet potato fries were crispy. My partner really enjoyed the prime rib, and the portion was large enough for leftovers. Service was quick, attentive, and friendly. We sat outside with our pups, which we appreciated. The only suggestion would be to update the patio layout a bit. Our table was directly across from the waiting area, so it felt like we had very little privacy while people waited. Other than that, we had a great experience and would definitely come back.

Beautiful decor, fresh flowers & friendly staff. The chips & salsa were fresh and delicious. The salsa had a different flavor. I'm not a chef. But it reminded me a little of adobo (maybe)? Whatever it was we all really enjoyed it. The guac was creamy and limey. Most of us got combination plates. I got the 2 items: a cheese enchilada with the carne asada taco (it's a bit of an up charge & it was definitely worth it!) the asada was so delicious! Chewy and flavorful. The enchilada sauce was perfect too. My husband's combo plate, was similar but he got 3 items, including a pork tamale. He said it was great. Other things of note: the beans were good & not runny, according to others as I don't eat beans. Rice - so good, my kid ate an entire side of it. Loved the rice. The counter service female was very nice and helpful. The sandwich was very good and we've eaten there many times in the past. When we both sat down to eat we noticed that our sandwich hadn't been cut in half. My girlfriend went back to the counter and asked a male kitchen employee behind the counter if he could cut our sandwich in half. The sandwich was completely wrapped in paper and we did not unwrap it at all prior to asking for it to be cut. His response was extremely rude and nasty. He claimed that it was already contaminated despite the fact that it was still completely wrapped in paper. He acted like we were putting him out by us asking him to simply cut the sandwich in half. He accused my girlfriend of "contaminating" the sandwich (in his words) just by touching it despite the fact that it was handled by 2 people before we even touched it. Basically, it was his scolding condescending tone that totally turned us off to ever visiting this place again. It only takes one lazy a--hole employee to ruin a great dining experience.

Yes, they have gas and a car wash, but that is just the beginning. Inside, there is a gourmet kitchen serving up locally harvested seafood and Harris Ranch meats. The burger here is hands down one of the best in the county. It is technically fast food, but nothing like what you would expect from that term. AJ's goes way beyond typical gas station fare. You will find organic produce and treats from around the world like English biscuits, real maple syrup, and a Southeast Asian spice rack. They also offer an impressive selection of local wines, baked goods, ice creams, and coffees. Owner Akhtar Javed, originally from Pakistan, opened the market in 1987 after falling in love with Santa Cruz. He became a local legend after the 1989 Loma Prieta Earthquake when he let customers take what they needed and pay later during the power outage. AJ's Market is a true gem and worth the stop whether you need gas or not. P.S. AJ also carries dried cuttlefish so you don't have to travel to San Jose or find a Ranch 99. P.P.S. In addition to the coffee station, they also had a full cooler of Marianne's Ice Cream!

Now, I say "prawns" because apparently there was a little seafood identity crisis happening -- they were actually shrimp! We started with the calamari, which was honestly some of the best I've ever had, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. We also ordered the seasonal Caprese (tomato stack) salad, which was incredibly fresh with a wonderful combination of flavors. Even the complimentary bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar stood out. The balsamic was so good I forgot to ask what brand they use so I could buy some for home! Our server was friendly, attentive, and helpful. When I ordered the fettuccine with steak, she thoughtfully confirmed whether I wanted the Gorgonzola Alfredo or the traditional Alfredo sauce. I chose the traditional Alfredo, and it was absolutely perfect. I shared it with my daughter, so the photo shows about half of the original portion. Everyone at our table loved their meals. The rotisserie chicken received rave reviews as well, although I forgot to take a photo. If the weather is nice, don't miss the outdoor patios. There's a table for six near the fireplace that looked especially inviting. I wanted to take a picture, but I couldn't get the angle without including other diners in the frame. I also tried the watermelon martini, which was refreshing and delicious, and the wine pours were generous. If you're in Aptos, this restaurant is absolutely worth a visit. We'll definitely be back.
