The one this company installed in 2023 quit working in 2024 after the one year warranty expired and I had to pay $1,000 to have another one installed. March 2025 the dehumidifier quit again. I called and they sent a technician out here and he said the company no longer uses those dehumidifiers. He inferred that they are of substandard quality and if I purchased another it would be quite expensive. He checked the dehumidifier and said my electrical outlet had switched it off. So, I paid an electrician to replace the outlet with one that doesn't automatically switch off. The dehumidifier continued to quit working. So, I asked an HVAC company to come and check it out. He said the dehumidifier is fills with water and cuts off because it isn't draining properly. He emptied it out and said it hadn't been correctly installed. He said it needed a condensation pump and the tubing needed to be replaced. I tried to reach someone at Crawlspaces and More and for weeks never received a return call. I finally received an email from Jim and he said he would come out and make sure the dehumidifier was on and charge me $200. I told them to forget it. I called a reputable company and they installed a very nice dehumidifier and replaced the door to my crawlspace. Ours was wood and rotted because it was decades old. They said Crawlspaces and More should have replaced it to thoroughly encapsulate the crawlspace. The new company installed a custom fit door that is air tight and sealed. I would not recommend Crawlspaces and More.

I cannot recommend Mold Gone 4 Good based on my experience and highly suggest you stay far away…read morefrom Donna Nettles and her business. After "completing" mold remediation in a home we were preparing to purchase, the company provided a written Post Remediation Verification letter explaining the criteria they use to determine whether a job passes. According to their own letter, the indoor air sample should be no greater than half of the concurrent outdoor sample. The initial laboratory report on 5/06/2026 showed our outdoor Aspergillus/Penicillium count at 2300 spores/m³ and the indoor basement count at 4300 spores/m³. That means that the interior was almost DOUBLE the exterior. Despite the indoor result exceeding that threshold, they certified the remediation anyway and stated that "No further treatment is needed." After going back and forth with our purchasing agent before purchase and literally refusing to sign, the day of, if we didn't get in writing guarantees that we'd be retested and retreated to their standards, we finally got an agreement. An eventual follow-up laboratory report on 5/29/2026 showed our outdoor Aspergillus/Penicillium count at 1,800 spores/m³ and the indoor basement count at 930 spores/m³. By the company's own written criteria, half of 1,800 is 900, which constitutes a second failed test. On June 3rd, the owner personally called me with the results and emailed me the report. I responded the very same day, respectfully asking how the results met the company's own published standard and how we should respond with the retreatment. I have never received a response. Seventeen days later, after complete silence, our realtor (who originally recommended Mold Gone 4 Good) contacted the owner on our behalf. Rather than answering a straightforward question about their own documentation, the owner refused to have any further communication with us. I'm not asking anyone to accept my interpretation of mold testing. I'm simply asking the company to explain how their own published clearance standard was met. Instead of receiving an explanation, we were ignored. Professional remediation should include professional accountability. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. Steer clear!

At our assessment meeting she alerted me to the breadth of the problem that needed attention, made helpful suggestions for things they could do that would not add to the estimate she offered, and was so mindful of giving the best quality of work for a very reasonable price. Immediately I felt at ease with her and sensed she could handle any issues that would arise. Everything in the basement that I didn't want to keep was removed, remaining things were wiped and treated, and returned neatly to the basement, which was truly transformed. Terri and her crew were thorough, great to work with, (special thanks to Eleazar, crew chief) and there was outstanding communication throughout the process. This is dirty, messy work, but the crew was upbeat, alert and so helpful when I found something set to be hauled away that I decided I wanted to keep. I could not have hoped for a better outcome, and if needed I would call them again in a heartbeat. Highest possible recommendation.

But they will refer me to another company they work with called Red Door. Red Door came and did the estimate then never heard from them again. Let me start by saying I understand this group of gentleman have dozens of years of experience…read more.. that being said their work would leave you wondering how they are still in business in GA. My uncle commissioned these guys to do a LARGE remodel project of his new house. They layered new metal roofing over existing shingles, didn't install deck railing slats to code, had tons of code violations called out by inspectors, cut ever corner they could, and NEVER finished work. If you're thinking of remodeling your house I urge you to explore options outside of this group. It's one thing to get called out on bad work/craftsmanship and man up and fix what was incorrect... it's a whole different thing to pick up everything and run from the job leaving it completely unfinished. I would be ashamed to work for or run a company that not only doesn't finish the work they committed to but purposefully cuts corners and goes ghost when asked to correct shotty work. This work remains unfinished with several attempts to contact the contractors falling on deaf ears. STEER CLEAR!

I took very ill within 8 days of moving in and was hospitalized due to this matter. The Mold Assassins showed up, (Wayne Oreal) on time, took extensive photos, wrote a very detailed report of there findings, took samples and sent them to Eurofin's Scientific Laboratory, which is one of the world's leading, highly certified, laboratories for mold and environmental microbiology testing in the world. He documented in his report that the home was not suitable for habitation and informed me I needed to move out immediately in his expert opinion. When the Eurofin's report came back in 3 days, I was shocked to find that there were multiple forms of toxic mold in the home, exceeding habitat levels, and the HVAC System was covered in black mold, using and fecal matter, circulating the spores throughout the home and well as significant water damage, microbial spores growing under the kitchen sink. The Mold Assassin's even documented that these have been an ongoing problem in the home long term - showing the owner was concealing it. Most disturbing is that my home inspector and the appraiser had documented ZERO of these items, while I paid them. This was ALARMING to me. Further, I had two other inspections, by certified companies that also affirmed similiar findings, however didn't offer n air quality test - which is the evidence and there price was the best for the estimate. They have followed up with me twice, making sure I am healthy at there own time and expense. I have paid them zero. Thank goodness - the Mold Assassins showed up, wrote an outstanding report, took photos, used infra red cameras and meters to show the excessive moisture in the home, and microbial growth, then BACKED up their findings with an Air Quality Environmental Laboratory Test from a number one leading lab in the World! Given the hospital documented my case as "Mold, rodent urine, and fecal matter as the issues with my respiratory, kidneys, hives and rashes, and a leading lab affirmed also backed up the Mold Assassin's report, I find them most credible, thorough and professional. They saved not only my life, but have given me a right to rescind and terminate my 500,000.00 loan, contract and agreement with the seller of the home. I would highly recommend them to anyone and I will back it up with their findings and evidence. A BIG thank you to them for doing their job!

Who is willing to pay thousands of dollars for that? Their post treatment test will say everything is good, but the problem remains.
