The move itself could not have been gone more satisfactorily. The movers asked for my inputs and took them into consideration. The contents arrived and were placed exactly where I wanted them. I was 90% certain this is a scam, then I call again 20 minutes later and they said they're at the gate. Supposed to be there between 9-10 At the gate allegedly at 2:20. Then I call to get my deposit back, and the guy hangs up on me. I had to take a half day off work. Either he can give my deposit back or pull $500 out of his ass to pay me for time lost. Completely unprofessional scam artists. Hey dipshit, if you're going to be more than 4 hours out of the agreed time maybe say something, moron. Update: I'm the reason you have deposits? I know these are hard times but is scamming Soldiers out of $100 really the business model you're going for? Yikes

Both Gabriel and another mover came by promptly last month to help me move all of my stuff from my…read morePOD container up to my second floor apartment (that only has stairs and no elevator)! Gabriel had texted me that they would be a little late because the previous move for another client was taking a little longer than anticipated. I told him that would be fine. However, both he and his fellow mover were still pretty prompt and still came by at around 1:30 or 1:45 pm, which was not too far off from the original time they were about to come by. I was really amazed that they unloaded everything, worked really hard, and were extremely careful with my boxes and fragile belongings, and moved everything into my new apartment within half an hour :D ! I would highly recommend these guys for my next move :) ! They did an excellent job :D ! And they made everything really smooth and stress-free for me :) ! They are definitely worth it for the pricing they charge :) ! There aren't any hidden fees, and pricing is very black and white, Crystal-clear :) !

The driver delivered the trailer within the time slot quoted and had to park it at the curb. He…read moreparked it right where the ramp arm fell into a dip so we had to find a brick for under it to keep it stable. Then the ramp arms did not want to retract into the folded position when we quit loading for the day/night. We used a lot of braided rope throughout the load (every four feet, we created a web of sorts to hold things secure) and ended with a cargo net to cover the back end and latch into the slots. The bulkheads provided were old and not holding onto the walls as they were supposed to. Entire load shifted 12-18". Twenty-two feet of space was used for the move. Luckily, we only lost a bookshelf and my old PC to the moving process. Employees were friendly and helpful, truck was clean. Unload was much easier. Ramp was newer and worked without complications. Overall, it was better than U-Haul or someone else. But if we ever move again, I will opt to use the reloCubes instead... that ramp was difficult to get the heavier items up and the platform dolly's wheels kept getting caught. Ramp was best used with 10" handtruck/upright dolly wheels or bigger platform dolly tires.

When PODS told me that they couldn't deliver to my new location, they suggested that I try U-Pack…read more U-Pack was able to deliver and were very easy to work with. The trailer was dropped on the date requested, and picked up right away as soon as it was packed. Because my new home was not yet ready for occupancy, I had to pay for storage; the storage rate was, I thought, extremely high. When I needed another week (after the first month), I had to pay for another entire month of storage--$1500! No partial month! Delivery was prompt, and we had 3 days to unload; after I called that we were done (on a Friday), they picked up the trailer on Monday. My only problem was with the storage fee, which basically doubled my cost of moving. I heartily recommend their service, except for their storage rates.
