Got a quote of £303. For which I have the confirmation email. Went around the property and there were more windows than stated but we took 2 rooms off the quote. The increase in the number of windows bumped the quote up to £410. I did a quick check once they had finished but failed to inspect thoroughly & acted in good faith. Upon inspection I was so disapointed I cried. Bathrooms poorly done, cisterns untouched, towel rails dusty, items from previous tenants behind sink. Carpeted floors covered in cat hair. 2 days later my 1 yr old picked up a sewing needle left by previous occupier. Kitchen drawers had food remaining. Counter tops not wiped down. Radiator cover removed & not replaced & not cleaned. Floor still had large debris remaining as did cooker. Team back unannounced at 4pm to rectify the job. Fails to understand how it is inappropriate. Email exchange has been hostile. He has now stopped responding to my emails and I will be escalating the matter to small claims court. read more

While the company is good at cleaning they can't seem to follow instructions. My building is access controlled, Key Fobs/codes required to access. I instructed the team to leave my keys Under the Mat. The team decided to push my keys through the mail slot. My ONLY set of keys. Needless to say £200 cleaning became £600 after the last minute hotel I needed to book. The next day when the landlord came to let me in. There were they keys, looking right at me from the floor. IF ONLY THEY COULD FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS. The owner replied to my google review stating I was confused. I'm not confused. Your team can't follow simple instructions. read more

I am with Barbara W from Bentley on this one. Many people onsite to do the job (6, I believe), which was completed in 1.5 hours but the outcome is unsatisfactory. 3 of them arrived at the incorrect address Your service certainly did not live up to your marketing claim: 'Our cleaners will confidently clean all of your property to the highest standards'. Confident your cleaners might have been, but they did not clean to the highest standards Nor did the standard warrant the statement on your invoice - Mayer: Expert Cleaning..... Old filter from cooker hood was left in a bowl on the microwave. Grout behind hob remained filthy - with very little effort we have got it back to an acceptable standard. We have had cleaned the insides of 2 of the kitchen cupboards and the bathroom cabinet. The vinyl flooring in the kitchen is now clean after our efforts The small basin strainer insert in the kitchen sink unit is now clean after our efforts. The microwave, was not cleaned at all nor was the worktop space underneath it. The extractor fan in the bathroom is now properly clean after our efforts. Bath and bathroom tiles are much cleaner after our efforts Mould around bath sealant now removed by us 3 sets of blinds remain to be cleaned. 9 man hours work for £264 = £30 per man hour. If each cleaner is paid £10 per hour, that's a massive markup. I don't mind paying that sort of money if an excellent result is achieved. Sadly it was not.......... 3 man hours work to get the flat to an acceptable standard at your rate of £30 per hour. Therefore seeking £90 for our efforts to make the flat presentable. Mayer admonished all responsibility - they say because we did not invoke the guarantee, they are not accountable. Of course they are - the job was not completed properly! read more

I wouldn't recommend this company. I used them to perform a check-out clean on a house I own in Guildford and the condition they left the house in was disappointing. The cooker hood was still greasy and the radiators hadn't even been dusted. They also left a bottle of beer on a shelf in the kitchen(!) and a duster in the middle of the floor. Pretty slapdash and not reflective of the hundreds of pounds I paid them (which they demanded should be transferred before they locked up and handed the keys back to my neighbour - a bit untrusting, but perhaps they thought I might not want to hand over the cash once I had seen the standard of their cleaning!?). My new tenants said they were going to try to get Mayer to come back - I don't know if they bothered or just decided to clean up themselves... read more

I used Mayer Enterprises for an after Builders clean on our property and found them to be very professional and they did a great job. I was particularly impressed with the oven cleaning services as our oven has not been cleaned in over a year and it looked as good as new. I would use them again as they were very affordable too. read more

I would not recommend this company. I agreed the rooms to be cleaned including windows and frames. The whole process was a big rush, they didn't turn up until late in the afternoon and called me to say they had finished a couple of hours later. It was quite difficult to check everything as they were still washing the bathroom and kitchen floor. I would say they did a fantastic job cleaning the ovens, but then I could have got an oven cleaning company to do that. When the flat was being shown by the agent it was noticed that the bathroom and kitchen windows and frames had not been touched.There was also still some black mould in the corners of the tiles and the bottom of the shower screen. I telephoned Mayers and was told to put this information in an email. Their reply was that I should have complained sooner, which is not the right attitude when you have paid for a complete job to be done. They commented that the black mould "probably wouldn't budge" Yesterday I finished the cleaning job and the mould is now gone. read more
