I recently used Clean Eats Meal Prep and was quite impressed. Choosing my meals was simple, and they were delivered right away on Sunday morning. I stored half in the fridge and the rest in the freezer. The quality and quantity of food for the price is amazing. I enjoyed a variety of dishes, but the Beef Lo Mein was my absolute favorite. I plan to keep ordering from them every month. read more

So I actually discovered this place on an amazing app called TooGoodToGo that helps elongate food waste, while getting the business paid and the consumer a great deal. I actually am using this method to try what they have to offer then order my favorites regularly. The food is pretty good- not mouthwatering , restaurant craving good- but one of the most delicious healthy food Oreos I have had for sure. The menu is clean, the food is great quality and its a great portion. The staff is also quite pleasant! read more

This place is amazing! Their meals are so healthy, and it's best alternative for junky fast food. This food has helped me lose about 5 pounds in 2 weeks. They have good nutritional value and amazing taste. The choices are all healthy, so definitely check them out. Not only do they help you with a diet, but they also inform you about what you eat and why you eat it. There are so many diets to choose from, but my favorite was the keto diet. When you talk about low-carb, and a lot of protein, it really helped me in a lot of different ways. If you're on a diet, you don't feel like cooking, or you just want a professional cook to cook your meals, then use this company, they will only help you, but they will help you reach your goals. They are the best in the New York area. read more

Being on the go for alot of my life due to both my jobs military and law enforcement being so time consuming I have a on and off relationship with Clean Eats and they get better and better with time. The prices are comparable to other companies and their new packaging makes everything better. No more Tupperware hello air tight vacuum sealed packages. read more

I used to order from here all the time and meals were always fresh. Today, after having not ordered in several months, I received my meals, only to discover that the meals are now pre-frozen! No longer fresh. And yes, the food was the same price. I would never have paid these prices if the knew the meals were pre-frozen. Will not be ordering from this company again. read more

They are horrible there's nobody on the other line if you call all you get is a tape recorder telling you to to text them but when you touch them they do not respond I was not able to get online and I tried to send them an email and the email came back saying no such a mess I called them and left a message I went on the website I left him a message to cancel my subscription I found the food the first week it was okay the second week the states that they sent me was raw and some of the food was too spicy hot and some of it had no taste at all they had one that the noodles taste as sweet but the food had no flavor to of the five years that they sent me I had to throw it out don't waste your money bad food and poor service read more

Got a good go go order and it was such a good value and I really enjoyed the food! Had the pea an crusted salmon and a chicken and rice dish. I'd recommend if you're looking for a healthy and hearty option meal prep option. It was tasty too. read more

I'm not super into nutrition, fitness, or really focusing on what I eat--so I am far from their target demographic, but I'm a super fan. For one, their meals heat, freeze, and reheat well, which means if I over order, I can freeze something for next week and know it'll taste just as good as if I'd ordered it today. I like that they make their nutritional info so visible, which makes it easier for me to decide if I'd rather have a healthy lunch and a pint of ice cream or just go straight to the ice cream. Just kidding. Mostly. And maybe most importantly, their customer service has been excellent whenever I've called with a question, concern, or even a problem. Their food is really tasty, too, which helps. My favorites: the Thai chili meatballs for sure, though I do also really like the turkey chili. My only complaints are that they don't deliver on Mondays (which I suppose means that my Tuesday delivery is extra fresh and, fine, I GUESS they deserve a day off too), and that the website is a little clunky--you can't save a secondary address (like your home and office, or your home, you office, and your side hustle office), and that it can be a little tricky to distinguish carb-free from all-the-carbs by photo alone, which means I have to go three extra clicks to confirm. The struggle is real. A little pricey, but worth it. read more

Tried the low carb options and they're delicious and well balanced. The salmon and BBQ chicken is my fave so far. My husband tried one and is jumping on the bandwagon. I like that you can mix and match rather than being stuck with a straight subscription with just one type of meals. Usually there's no problem getting a routine delivery date. So far so good! read more

Recently started my weight loss journey with a professional bodybuilder personal trainer. She strongly recommended Clean Eats and I am very happy with the service and its impact to my weight loss. Enjoyed clean eats for several weeks. Great food and great friendly service at the Florence SC store. But then one day i found plastic in my meal. It looked like the same clear plastic that the lids are made from. I checked my lid and thought maybe it was cracked or something but it wasn't. I don't know how it happened but that is a mistake that can't be made. I will not be eating there anymore. read more

I have tried 3 meal prep companies (CleanEats, FitFuel Prep (disgusting!) and Fresh Diet (not bad but way too expensive). Clean Eats by far is the best. They are the CLEANEST and most resemble home cooked food. I've lost 40 lbs in 3.5 months. A large part of this has to do with the convenience of having the Clean Eats meals ready to go at any time. When I have to think about and make decisions on food, I'm more likely to pick junk. Since I've been counting calories in MyFitnessPal, I love that the Clean Eats meals has the nutrition info labeled on every meal and also on their website. I do wish that it included more than the basic macros (protein, carbs, fat, calories). Wish it had sugar, vitamin content, etc but it's not a huge deal. My favorite Clean Eats meals are: - Buffalo Ranch Chicken Tacos - Clean-Izza Burger (like a pizza burger with no bread, over whole wheat spaghetti - Asian BBQ Chicken with brown rice and vegetables - Pasta Salad (with feta, tomatoes, etc... So good) - Turkey Chili Quinoa bowl (guiltless comfort food!) One downside is that I wish that the delivery times were more specific. Like Fresh Direct grocery delivery offers 2 hr windows. That helps me plan better around it. Clean Eats delivers on Sunday's and Wednesday evenings but it's a large window and sometimes I'm not home. At least they've started using freezer bags now, so the food has a better chance of staying cool while waiting for me to get home. Overall, the service is great. The company is progressive and always looking to improve. And you can't beat the price! $10 per meal. I definitely spend more than that eating out and sometimes eating at home too. So it's WIN-WIN. read more

Love the food and the choices. Always delivered on time. The food is good and the portions generous. I started this after surgery to make things easier, then continued through the lock down. Not having to worry about going to the store with a compromised immune system was a big relief. I love that I can choose week to week what I want instead of a set menu is great. Reasonably priced. Just pop in the microwave and eat. read more

I have been using meal Prep companies for the last year and a half. I was very Disappointed in The last three companies I was used their food was all dry and it tasted like it was made last week . About six months ago I had a friend referred me to Clean Eats finally I found food that tastes Like it was homemade . It is very fresh and they have a great variety to choose from . they do a drop offs twice a week and very flexible with my schedule since it's always different. Thank you clean eats definitely recommend them!!! read more

I ordered my meal prep for the week prior to the state of emergency snowstorm and the package was set to be delivered to my job which was closed because of the snow. I'm 28 years old and I have an extremely busy life. I was extremely happy to find such a magnificent meal prep company. I was a bit skeptical at first but I did my homework and placed my first order with Clean Eats Meal Prep about 6 months ago. I'm giving them five stars because the food is absolutely delicious and you get all your macros. I no longer need to do grocery shopping or think about making food after my workout. I highly recommend Clean Eats because you are getting your moneys worth. My favorite is their Kabob Bowl and pretty much anything poultry. Can't wait to put my next order ! read more

I've been using this meal prep service for a couple years now. I work a full time job, part time job and am in grad school. Cooking is a luxury I don't have. Time is a luxury I don't have. Raw honest review here: There are a lot of meal prep companies out there. They are all at a similar price point. If any of the companies had horrible food they would go out of business quickly. Clean Eats is the following: Food always tastes great Deliveries have been on point with a text message alert ahead of time ( nice touch) ordering process is pretty easy they aren't a fly by night company cooking out of a house kitchen. I have been happy with the meals most of the time. I have been ordering for almost a year. Lately since the the move/renovation, the meals have changed. Also, they were closed for renovations. It took then approximately 3 months. I ordered meals that were supposed to be coming in Jan/Feb. No delivery until March. I would contact them & ask where is my Delivery. They would send an email back eventually. Each week stating that they were waiting for this or that and were delayed in opening. I would always have to contact them first. So when I finally received my order... the meals are different! The eggplant balls are not the same recipe. It is supposed to come with speghetti squash. Instead it is bland & came with zucchini ... a few thin tiny slices. Then my egg white omelette (which is scrambled) did not taste the same. No feta Cheese at all and the potatoes taste awful rubbery. I contacted them ... no answer back. read more

Tried it out this week with 3 menu items. Each and every one was inedible and disgusting. No idea where all of these positive reviews are coming from. Turkey Meatloaf: awful texture and threw out after 1 bite Chix Parm: chix was okay, but much of the pasta was like cardboard Chipotle Apricot Glazed Chicken: very, very spicy read more

Whether you live alone or you have a tribe to feed, this is the meal prep service for you! I learned of Clean Eats from my coworkers, they were ranting and raving about how tasty the food is and how the portions were perfect, so I gave them a shot. I'm a health conscious person and watch what I eat daily, that being said, I don't have to watch any longer. The Mediterranean tacos are to die for and the sweet chili meatballs rock! I tell you that you really can't lose with this company, their customer service is awesome too, they always do the right thing by their customers. I even turned a few people on to them myself. Give them a shot, you won't be disappointed! read more

Wow, I did not expect the food to taste this good!! Yes, it's a bit expensive. I'm working on the muscle building plan with a few adjusted meals and the total for month is about $600. But.... Your body does deserve the best and you shouldn't skimp on the quality of the food you put inside of you. The food here is fresh, delivered wonderfully in well insulated packaging and can conveniently be delivered to you on weekends or you can pick it up from their location. My favorite so far is the people's champ chicken!! Oh my!! Love this service! read more

I love these meals!! I just had a baby 3 months ago and am trying to lose the weight while also having healthy meals for my husband to eat every night. These are perfect- so fresh and tasty. My only issue so far is that their online subscription process is a little tough to figure out. They have been really nice and accommodating when i call. It sounds like they are working on the website and making it better. I definitely recommend this service! read more

UPDATE: As if it couldn't get worse.... They never credited the money back to the gift certificate which I have now given to someone else. After leaving 2 voice mails, because they don't answer their phones, I got an email claiming I instructed them not to refund the gift certificate. Totally false. I honestly have never experienced such horrible customer in my entire life. Order at your own risk. I received a gift certificare for Christmas on Friday, placed an order on Sunday. The website said the next available delivery date was Thursday December 31 between 6p and 10pm. Thursday comes and I get an email just before 3pm saying they are postponing my delivery for Monday. And they are not operating that day. WHAT?!? I was staying in for New Years and this was my dinner plan. This was a 1st time order and honestly, it was a last. When 50% if your business model is DELIVERY and CONVENIENCE, it behooves you to actually fufill those aspects. Instead of apologizing after I let them know that this was a horrible.way to treat a potential new customer, I got an attitude claiming how their food and service is outstanding. Hardly. I, too, own a food business. My customers would never tolerate me pushing their deliveries off by DAYS. It's simpy unacceptable. If you are going to order, make sure you have back up plans to eat. Sadly, I did not and was stuck. That being said, I have a $100 gift certificate a available if anyone wants to buy it. read more

Food tastes great. However, portion sizes are not consistent with the nutrition facts whatsoever. I weighed the chicken from the chicken bacon ranch and it came to 3 oz. of chicken. Where does the 43 grams of protein come from? Surely not the little bit of bacon and one little broccoli or the potatoes that the meal tray comes with. If you're looking for a small portioned meal than this is it. read more

I've made purchases before, but recently purchased a bunch of meals from them again for both my wife and I. The idea of being able to eat something different every meal and knowing what the exact macronutrients are is very important to us. Not to mention, the taste of the meals are great also. They have a wonderful selection for just about any taste palate. The best part is that they also deliver. Nothing like receving my meals on a Sunday morning just in time to start my week strong. While their food is tasty and healthy, DO NOT make the mistake of ordering the No Carb option. They are supposed to replace the carb with extra veggies, but they barely add any at all and the result is a few pieces of meat and a few pieces of veggie rattling around on an otherwise empty tray - anything but a "meal." NEVER AGAIN will I spend $40 for 5 trays of pitifully inadequate food. . read more
