I had a family emergency that required me to find a taxi and get it to a family member ASAP. I called at least 10 taxi companies who variously didn't answer or had numbers no longer in service. I called 1st Class Taxi, he answered and listened, and then told me he was walking out the door with his keys to solve my problem. He was pleasant and confident and communicative, and before I knew it, he had my family member safely deposited and followed up to let me know. He went above and beyond for me and my family today. We booked a shuttle the night before and I texted the number they give you to confirm availability -- never got a response. Unshockingly, the shuttle never showed. My sister tried to call and what do you know -- their voicemail isn't even set up, nor does their online chat feature work. Because we can't get in contact with them, I'm hoping PayPal will come through in getting me my money back. Aside from this incident, I've actually been behind this shuttle while driving myself from Austin to college station. The girl swerved like a madwoman and was doing so at a rate 15 miles over the speed limit. Save your money and potentially your life by going with Ground Shuttle or another option.
