I cannot believe how well they cleaned our apartment in the time they did. Throughout the process everything was communicated well. Covid stuff- masks were worn throughout and we felt safe. We are all vaccinated, but it was a bonus. They also bring everything so it makes the process quicker and more streamlined. I chose this business because I saw them recommended by neighbors, and their excellent reviews. Their prices and what is included is clear and straight-forward. They included more than competitors and didn't upcharge you for them. I'd rather pay a slightly higher base that includes basics like baseboards and tubs than a lower base that ends up being way more because of upcharges. I also think it's a more honest system. Quality and service are just as important as price. The products used smell great, and worked really well to make everything shiny and fresh. There is also more order in this house since they left. We have been using Zorina services for a few years and we were very happy as she was doing a good job until recently. We always have a little issue for the flexibility of booking as we can not get Saturday appointments, but for week days, one of us has to take day off so it becomes a little hard. Then recently she has added 3pm time slots, we booked one session but it was a disaster, they came around 4:30pm, the after one hour cleaning, they already out of energy (usually they spent 3-4 hours to clean my house), they just rushed everything then left. Then I booked another session to clean two apartments today, as of 2:30pm, nobody showed up yet and I am very disappointed at how we are being treated as this is completely unprofessional and rude. First, some things about me, so that my review has context: I am a professional organizer in NYC, mom with 2 kids and a dog, small business owner and volunteer at two organizations. I'm also a touch OCD with a side of germa-phobe. All this to say, my standards are really high but I lack the time lately to maintain. For me, there are few things more demoralizing than the wear and tear of a crazy week and coming home to wash dishes in a dirty sink and wondering if that brown smudge on the bathroom light switch is chocolate from my kid's hand or maybe something else.... So I turned to Yelp and found Zorina of Clean as Paradise and I am so so glad I did. She is warm and kind as a person and incredible at what she does. I absolutely adore her as a person as well as someone who comes into my home and makes it feel, look and smell like that "hotel" feeling you always want. Zorina brings a co-worker and they just attack the dust and fingerprints and crumbs, grime and build up, but they also tidy as if they were prepping their own home for a party. They use great products without terrible chemical-y smells. Two things that really stood out: As a middle class gal, I don't have a lot of fancy furniture, but I do have two things I love, an Asian carved secretary my mum gave me and a mid-c credenza and she asked about those and any other things I might want treated very gently. Zorina also worked around me while I worked from home on several days. If, like me, you've tried a few companies whose ads are on the train and left you kind of meh, don't give up. CAP/ Zorina will make you look forward to coming home instead of dreading looking at your kitchen countertops or those rings around your tub. I can even do yoga beside my bed and see only clean floors under it while in triangle pose. I even plan to recommend her to clients because after a full day of organizing (which can be pretty messy believe it or not) you need to do a deep clean like what Zorina's level of work can do. Having Zorina come regularly would help any of my organizing clients maintain a long term plan, because she leaves things pristine. They clean OK, however definitely don't pay attention to the small details. If your'e looking for someone for an overall decent clean, they might work for you, however don't rely on them for excellent cleans. For example, when they left, they accidentally dropped a few of my packed food items on the floor and left them there...They left the picture crooked after they wiped it...The wooden closet still has scattered wiping marks on it.. The additional window service they offer is really a joke, they don't clean the railings or anything, just a cursory wipe on the glass... I'll definitely try someone else next time! read more

Oh my goodness people. If you are looking to looking for someone who is reliable, quick, efficient, and effective, Zorina is the one for you. If you are looking for someone who makes you comfortable enough to leave her in your home while you're out doing errands, she accomplishes that. If you DO stay home, she works well with not making the setting awkward or uncomfortable. She's personable and is very easy to chat with if you desire. She has the social cues down. She knows when to let you be and when to interact depending on who you are. Also, when she arrives, there's a lot of subtly. Her arrival doesn't announce "THIS PERSON CAN'T CLEAN THEIR OWN HOME." I have very nosey and judgmental neighbors. She comes with one other person (I didn't catch her name, but she was very nice) each with a standard backpack and possibly one extra bag? You wouldn't even realize she was carrying a vacuum cleaner. So, if subtlety is something you're looking for, she is also a winner. As for scheduling, Zorina is very reasonable. I worked with her through text when I had to adjust my appointment with her. She has a cancellation policy within 24 hours I believe, and that's perfectly reasonable so that she doesn't lose a window of time with a different client, but if you let her know and she can make it work, she definitely will try to be flexible. Just be reasonable, yourself. Don't cancel the day of. Okay, that's the review for Zorina the PERSON. Her WORK is spectacular. They both left the place immaculate and you are suddenly happy to be home. It's a pleasure to cook in your own kitchen and use a shower where the grout is no longer shameful to look at. Every single surface you can find is wiped down. You will NOT find dust after she leaves your place. It's such a lovely feeling. She also uses really delicate-smelling products too.
