They did all the items on my list, then a few more. I found the faucets were super shiny after they left. I won't lie, I didn't expect them to get under the beds. But they did, and that unique for a cleaning company. The care was above normal. Found a few small areas that I needed better attention to , and I let the manager know. We hired Three North Clean for a move-in deep clean package (including carpet cleaning) prior to…read moremoving our family into our new home. Unfortunately, both the initial service quality and owner communication fell far short of professional standards. The Cleaning: Despite booking a deep clean package where the owner initially assured us that "roughly 8 to 10 hours to do it properly" would be sufficient for our home size (quoted as 2 cleaners working for 4 hours total), basic move-in tasks were either completely skipped or executed poorly on the first pass: * Kitchen & Appliances: Behind the fridge was filthy and clearly untouched (heavy dust, grime, and debris on the floor/baseboards), despite cleaning behind appliances being explicitly listed on their deep clean checklist. The rest of the kitchen was far below deep-clean standards. * Bathrooms: On the initial clean, countertops were left with sticky residue, the shower and adjacent wall had heavy buildup, drawer and cupboard interiors were neglected, light fixtures were caked in dust, and dust was clinging to the wall behind the toilet. (Note: The return team sent back later did properly clean the bathrooms). * Property Damage & Neglect: Removing window tape residue left visible scratches up and down the window trims, and garage corners were left covered in heavy cobwebs. * Note: To their credit, the carpet cleaning team did a good job, the inside of the oven was cleaned, and the garage floor was swept. Communication & Management: The owner's communication was dismissive and extremely unprofessional throughout: * Scheduling Chaos & Broken Promises: Prior to booking, the owner explicitly emailed, "If anything changes for timing start time for the day. I'll update you closer to the day." However, she never contacted us. When I had to initiate contact myself at 7:00 PM the night before to confirm our start time, she responded near 8:00 PM telling me our confirmed 8:00 AM start was moved and accused me of "applying a lot of pressure." In a follow-up email, she vaguely stated that one cleaner would arrive at 10:00 AM, another "a later I think," and the carpet guys "sometime in morning." Despite telling us to plan for 10:00 AM, cleaners then showed up abruptly at 8:21 AM without notice. * Hostile Responses & Budget Issues: Prior to booking, the owner assured me, "In regards to the price, I don't think it'll be an issue. I think we will be able to get everything done for you based on the budget and job scope you've set out so don't stress about that. I think you'll get the full package." Yet, when I brought the missed areas to her attention, she became hostile and complained they were "over budget." She claimed 12 cleaning hours were used because one of the carpet cleaners had to stop carpet cleaning to help the house cleaners because they were falling behind--and tried to shift blame onto us. Rather than taking accountability, she wrote back stating, "I'm extremely unhappy working with you as well. This has been nothing but a nightmare no matter how hard we try," and blamed my husband for not catching everything on the spot. While they did send a crew back who successfully rectified the bathrooms, a true "move-in deep clean" shouldn't require the client to inspect, document, and fight to get advertised checklist items properly done in the first place. I would not recommend this company. Note: Based on my experience, the owner will likely respond to this review with another defensive comment about how I was asking too many questions prior to the clean--simply because I was trying to clarify timelines and ensure the quoted hours would actually cover a proper deep clean for our home size.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I hired MaidPro Calgary to do a…read moremove out clean on my empty 2 bedroom townhouse on February 6, 2023. Though their quote was higher than other companies I felt their 49 point checklist and extra fees would be worth the value as I wanted it to be spotless for my new tenants who would be taking possession a few weeks later. The cleaners were let in remotely as I had moved out of town and trusted their guarantee(s), so I paid the bill sight unseen per their request the following day. When I arrived back at my property on February 25 (2.5 weeks later) my townhouse was freezing cold, registering just two degrees despite the thermostat being set to 18. We quickly realized that all the water lines (taps, toilets etc) were completely frozen. To my shock the furnace switch (clearly marked FURNACE) in the laundry room had been switched from ON to OFF, which means the furnace had been off for several weeks. MaidPro's cleaners were the only people in the residence while it was vacant. It took over 72 hours for all the pipes to thaw, after which I incurred over $1600 in repairs to several appliances which were damaged as a result of the frozen pipes. The most unfortunate part of the story is MaidPro's complete and utter lack of accountability; I called the manager (Chris Kadri) on Feb 25 and left a message for her to call me as soon as she received the message, giving her details of the situation - she never called back. I made three separate attempts to connect with her that week (she never called me back), none of which were successful in discussing the facts of the situation. She then passed the case on to David who I believe is her manager. I've now left two voicemails for David over the course of the last week and have yet to hear back from him. I imagine that if I do hear back, they'll deny the cleaners turned the furnace switch off, however; if there hadn't been any heat on between January 13 (my last day in the residence) and February 6 (the day they cleaned), they would have called to report the temperature not being tolerable (I could not stand in the house without shoes and a winter jacket for longer than a few minutes without needing to stand near a space heater). Interestingly enough they did communicate to Chris during the day to request more time to clean (she called me to authorize a longer clean/higher cost as per their request she said). It seems logical to me that if no report had been made by them about the temperature being uncomfortable to work in, that the furnace wasn't turned off before they arrived. In addition to that, part of their 49 point checklist lists "fingerprints removed from all woodwork, door-frames and SWITCH PLATES", if they had completed the work per their guarantee, then that furnace switch would have been cleaned as it is a switch plate (similar to a light switch). I was very understanding when I initially noticed the problem, and appreciate that mistakes happen; when this issue was discovered and brought to MaidPro's attention, I would have been amenable to working out a solution with them. The total lack of respect and urgency from the management there has left me with no choice but to let people know that I would not trust them in my residence unsupervised. If any damage is done, they will do absolutely nothing to work to remedy the issue, or even offer any semblance of an apology. Zero accountability, zero communication.
