Not a place where you come in for an oil change and they make up some other repair you need 2. Fast. Usually, I come around 10-11 on a weekday, and for minor items, you're in and out in 20min; for bigger issues, maybe you leave it a few hours. 3. Quality. I had my Volvo bumper partially pulled off years ago and went to the dealer. They "fixed" it, but it popped out again a few weeks later. Clinton Collision fixed it for short money and it's held for a couple of years ago. 4. Helpful but not pushy. Things like, "Hey, you don't need new brakes/tires now, but you might want to think about it in six months." Seems like a family-owned business, which is always a plus. Highly recommended!

Had a Roomie try to jump me . Nothing . I call AAA to roll my car to Model A after telling them what happened - it was around 4:45 pm and this shop closes at 6:00 . AAA pulls up and literally this interaction was literally 1 minute because the guy looked at my car and said I was "parked too close to car in front of me " and said to call again later and TOOK OFF . Well that helped me a lot didn't it?!! What the HELL are we paying them for ?! Thanks for NOTHING!! I call up Model A again and spoke to Julio , updated him on what just happened after walking in their shop earlier and telling them I would have AAA deliver my vehicle after telling them my situation ... They sent a pair of gentleman 10 minutes later who successfully jumped my car . His partner hopped in my car and drove it to the shop while the other one gave my boyfriend and I a lift to their shop 2 blocks away . They popped in a new battery and did diagnostics... I was outta there shortly after their closing time . Even when I paid the damage - I didn't feel like my misery and desperation was "preyed upon" . I was able to drive home upstate later that night no problem . Excellent and warm friendly service . Specia thanks to Julio and his team for saving me !!!!!

The mechanic was shocked I just had them changed. I only put about 10k miles on my car in 2 years! No way they should have done that. The mechanic wanted me to drive around to hear it but didn't even take a look. I literally just got my car washed next door so they weren't screeching at the time. Never do business here!

This is a review of 3 places so crossposting it for Island Toyota dealership, Island Toyota Service…read moreCenter, and a body shop in Brooklyn Auto Dent. This must be the worst dealership there is. I went to their repair service on quintard to get my wheel alignment checked after a parking lot collision where a person backed her car into mine. The insurance adjuster was supposed to go there to write up an estimate. When they got there the next day, my car wasn't even there anymore. Without my consent, they sent it out to Brooklyn to some body shop called Auto Dent. The insurance had to schedule another adjuster to go take a look at my car now in Brooklyn. To make a long story short, the body shop kept my car for 3 weeks, returned it unfixed. Nothing was done. In addition, when they towed my car from Toyota Service Center to Brooklyn, they used my plates for the toll which I got billed for. Island Toyota dealership cashed the Geico insurance check for $5,600+ and returned my car not repaired. They won't refund the money. They asked to bring the car back so they can fix it - thus admitting they didn't fix it in the first place. The guy from Auto Dent couldn't get his story straight either. He was very rude over the phone, first claiming he fixed the car, then saying he fixed some things, then said he can fix it if we bring it back. How could I send my car back to them? I went to another reliable body shop to get a statement that car wasn't fixed and payed for it out of my own pocket. Filed a DMV report against the body shop already. Auto Dent, Island Toyota, Toyota Service the worst customer service, and repair service there is. I assume, they went for the insurance fraud because my car wasn't badly damaged and if the owner didn't know much about cars, they would've never noticed that the car isn't fixed. Luckily, my husband knows a thing or two and after he brought the car home and started checking, he saw that nothing was done as per the estimate. It's hard to see at pick up as they give you "the complementary wash" so the car is wet and you can't see anything. We called the insurance back, they sent the local adjuster who came by and confirmed the job was not done. They were supposed to replace a headlight as per the insurance adjuster's estimate but they glued the one that was originally on the car. When confronted, they argued that they replaced it until they finally said that they glued it. Along with the repair receipt, they attached a list of parts they were going to use for my car with addresses where they supposedly got them from. They didn't use any. The other body shop confirmed that the bumper on my car is still the same bumper that was on the car and not a new one. They actually didn't even put back all the clips. There are parts numbers on parts...obviously.
