Adding screenshots of yelp response, text from employee, and call to Mr Buff that only lasted ONE MINUTE. He did not care about this safety issue and horrendous violation. Buff - if you don't have an employee named Trey, WHY DID YOU SAY I WILL TALK TO TREY on the phone immediately after? Why does your comment on Google (also added) say he is no longer with the company??? Why do you also apologize for it?? Come on now. You look shady denying it now. Additionally, my review said so many nice things. Your response is terrible. You're making yourself look bad. Also - my original review is really nice! (Pasted unedited below). I say service was good. My complaint is how you handled the situation and are handling it now. You're lying and being shady and freaking out because you couldn't take accountability for your business practices. God I hope this review finds someone and they stay the hell away from this company. I've also received threatening phone calls regarding my review and filed a police report. Along with a consumer complaint with the attorney general for posting my personal home address and number publicly online. Shame on you. You're ridiculous and acting like a child. Keep changing your replies. I'm getting email notifications and screenshotting all of them. ORIGINAL UNEDITED POST: I sincerely dread posting this review but I think it is necessary. Mr Buff was recommended to me by a friend who used them and LOVED them. Mr Buff is extremely nice and they did an excellent job moving things. There's just a couple of things I'd like to point out- 1) I was quoted $401 to move about 5 items of furniture. I moved literally everything else myself. I was also just switching apartments in the same complex, so no real travel. I agreed to this price and it was fine, but looking back, it took, maybe 45 minutes and $401 base (not including tip) seems pretty high. I wish I had figured out alternative means like hiring local guys for cheaper. So I don't feel like I got my money's worth. With that said - my friend moved an entire 2 story house for only $1,500 and feels like she definitely got her moneys worth. So I'm sure across the board, they are likely reasonably priced. 2) And the biggest issue - one of the workers texted my personal cell phone the night following my move saying he got my number from the paperwork and found me intriguing and wants to know more about me. I did call Mr Buff immediately to alert him. Mr Buff told me to block the number. I am mortified that my personal details were taken from the private paperwork by an employee for personal use. He also knows where I live which really concerns me and the fact that I told on him to his boss. Although Mr Buff seemed genuinely upset over this when I called him, I do think there should've been some kind of apology, alert that this would be handled internally, assurance it would not happen again, and follow up that it was handled. Maybe it was handled, idk what happened, but I didn't receive follow up. Either way, I feel bad I have to give a slightly poor rating because Mr Buff does seem great and like he works so terribly hard and I know so many others have had such positive interactions with the company, but I want to share so others are aware and so the company can reinforce appropriate boundaries around customer information. You can also see I called immediately after receiving the terrible text message. Gross.

    I was originally planning to leave a 3-star review, but the way the company handled my concerns…read moreafter the service has unfortunately made this a 1-star experience. The booking process was quick and communication leading up to the appointment was prompt, which I appreciated. However, I was shocked when only one cleaner arrived to deep clean my 1,500 sq ft home. Every other cleaning service I've used has sent at least two people for a deep clean. Despite a 10:15 AM arrival, she was still not done by the hard 4:30 PM cutoff time I clearly communicated in advance. In fact, two rooms hadn't even been started by then, and I was late picking someone up from the airport as a result. Throughout the day, I had to keep asking her to go back and re-clean areas she said were already done. Even then, she seemed surprised when I pointed out very basic things that hadn't been addressed. There was still dirt on the counters, dust and fur under beds that I specifically mentioned needed attention, and the floors were not properly mopped. The trash wasn't taken out, and I was told that making the beds "wasn't included"--something I've never encountered with any cleaning service, let alone for a deep clean. One of the most frustrating parts was discovering permanent chemical streaks on my toilet lid and built-in child seat, which are now stained yellow. It's clear a product was sprayed and the child seat wasn't folded down and wiped, so the cleaner just dripped and dried into the material. That's not just poor service--that's damage to my property. I stayed home all day for this service and ended up having to re-clean multiple areas myself before guests arrived. When I reached out to the owner, I clearly explained the issues and even provided photos. I also explained that having the cleaner return wasn't an option because I had houseguests and needed everything done properly the first time. I only asked for a partial refund--not a full one--given the incomplete service and additional work I had to do myself. Rather than meet me halfway, communication stopped. There was no apology, no ownership, and no meaningful attempt to resolve the situation beyond offering to send the same cleaner back. That simply wasn't a feasible solution given the timing and circumstances. What started as a disappointing service turned into a frustrating, time-wasting, and now property-damaging experience. The lack of accountability and poor customer service is incredibly telling. I would not recommend this company under any circumstances.
