HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE experience with renting from this property. Matthew Wool was very slow to…read morerespond to crucial maintenance issues and withdrew almost half of our security deposit for normal wear and tear of the apartment (small holes in the wall from pictures being hung). Our security deposit also took over three months to receive after being threatened with legal action. He was very unprofessional, dishonest, and insensitive towards the satisfaction of his renters. I would never rent from this property again and would never recommend them to anyone. Making money is his chief motive, even if it means unfair and unreasonable allegations.

Renting from these people for 2 years was the worst decision I ever made. Mathew Wool is the most…read moreunprofessional "property Manager" I have ever done business with. I have rented both commercial and residential properties in St Louis for years these people are the most dishonest I have ever seen. I tried to actually get my moneyback when they violated the lease before I was even was able to move in but they would not give me my money back. These people will say any thing to get you to sign a lease. Once they have your money $2250 deposit in my case, you are on your own. Lies, Lies Lies that is all you get from them. Things in the house broke every few months. You had to beg them to fix anything. I went 3 months without being able to use the master bath tub that is just one example, the air conditioning broke twice, the dishwasher broke twice. They are still trying to get $60 from me because I purchased and installed a new water filter in their refrigerator to stop it from leaking all over my food. I provided a receipt and the old one to them but they said it didn't need replacing. I was paying $2250 a month in rent too. They did not disclose that I was renting in a private subdivision that had bylaws to follow nor did they give me a copy of them. So there were issues about parking. landscaping etc.. They couldn't even tell me when the trash got picked up. There are many professional management companies in St louis THIS IS NOT ONE OF THEM! Although if you have a house in disrepair they would be your company to rent it. Bottom line this company only cares about the money they can make, not about the people that rent from them or the property they rent.

DO NOT get fooled by those fake 5 Starts reviews!! Please read my post to get the FACTS!! This is…read morewhat happened after we moved out. 1. No deposit return 2. They charged me $3k+ for insufficient move-out notice and one-month "market" rent (facts :my rent was $1200, I notify them over the phone couple of months ago, renew lease contract was never signed, and I moved out plus keys returned on the day of lease ends) 3. They are handing my account to collection (fact: it will leave a court record even if you pay what's owed, their lawyer will never contact you, you have to find out yourself) 4. Getting a lawyer in St Louis to represent a tenant is incredibly hard !!!!!!! I suffered, but you don't have to !!!!!!!

Management offered a window unit as a temporary fix, but I had to decline due to safety concerns. Communication throughout the entire situation was poor, and ultimately, no concession or rent credit was offered for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, this wasn't an isolated issue. Since moving in, I've dealt with a sewer backup into my apartment, a leak from an electrical pipe in the laundry room, and a bathroom door that no longer closes because it's been painted over too many times. Maintenance only performed temporary fixes on an issue with water collecting between the liner of the tub -- I ultimately had to outsource help to have the drain replaced myself. Critters are getting into my unit through an unseen opening in the laundry area, and maintenance has mistakenly entered my apartment on multiple occasions. Confusing my unit with another is not a valid excuse after the first time. While the neighbors are friendly, the infrastructure is outdated and doesn't reflect the price point. I also find it unsettling that a raffle for a rent credit is being offered in exchange for positive online reviews. For the amount being charged, I would encourage potential renters to carefully consider their options.
