My only complaint is that they aren't open more often and that they are too darn popular on Fridays.

We tried the chicken and pork schnitzel, both bunless; the Curry Wurst; Pretzel bites; Spätzle; Oma's Potato Salad; and Sprecher's Root Beer, of course. However, beer is also on the menu, along with other options. The menu is not huge, but if you like or want to try true German dishes, stop in. The pricing is fair, and the owner is very nice. They use the all-natural Wisconsin Gold Tallow for cooking, and I just learned about it and how it makes dishes so tasty. And it is even great for facials!

The schnitzel were absolutely tiny and paper thin, you could barely even notice it was meat. For $15 you get two puny schnitzels and a tiny bowl of potato salad. During our time there at least 5 tables came in, sat and left not even getting drinks.

Neither of us that ordered it could easily peel the skins off either. The sides were so-so. I would have been happy with just two poached sausages and a pretzel as the entree like in Germany.
