Claudia by far is the most talented designer and seamstress in the area. She's altered 4 dresses for me. Each alteration was done to perfection. She altered the dress in the photos for my wedding in June of 2024. I had this dress custom made by a designer in Europe and while the quality was spectacular the fit was totally off. Claudia was so innovative in her alterations and made this dress fit me like a glove. She also altered my reception dress (pink dress pictured). The bodice was too wide and she not only made it fit perfectly but was able to install another strip of boning in the center front to keep the aesthetic of the dress. I was preparing for my son's wedding knowing, at my age, it would be my last big family event; I wanted it to be memorable for all of us- including me. I had certain design elements I wanted in that dress. I searched for a very very long time and could find gowns with one or two of those elements but not all of those elements. Ultimately I traveled to Cape Coral to 'investigate.' I decided to have a gown made not only with the elements I sought but also in the precise color I love most. I couldn't have made a better decision. The gown was elegant! I had brought pictures of the various essentials I wanted, and with a little help, I ended up with a lovely dress. Claudia saved my wedding. I bought my dress from David's Bridal and unknowingly made the mistake of tasking them with the alterations. I was in tears after I picked up my dress from David's and immediately called Claudia when my wedding was only a month away. She got me in several days later and within one minute I knew she was going to fix my dress. Not only was it less expensive than David's for the alterations, she was insistent that she would do as many alterations and fittings as necessary (no additional cost), and had my dress perfectly perfect with days to spare. I am endlessly thankful for Claudia and her staff for helping me and making me feel like I was not crazy when I knew that my dress was not fitting as it should. We bought my daughter's wedding dress from Claudia's. The minute we walked in the door, we were treated like princesses. We went through the entire alteration process, which was difficult since my daughter lived out of state. They worked around her travel schedule. When it was time to pick up the dress, Hurricane Ian had hit. I walked in the shop and all the dresses were tarped on tents, way above ground level. I learned that they slept there during the storm to protect the dresses in case the water levels rose. I will NEVER buy another dress from another shop or have alterations anywhere else. Brought my wedding dress here to get it altered. I bought my dress at Gulf Coast shopping center but it was too far to travel and I found this place on Google. Right when you walk in, there are TONS of wedding dresses for sale that Claudia made. They are beautiful!! I kinda wish I had waited to buy my dress until I saw hers first but I had no idea she was located here. The dresses are very affordable and well designed. You can also bring a design and she can create it for you!! There are several racks of dresses as well as other dresses for prom or bridesmaids. Claudia was very friendly and welcoming. She knows a lot about wedding dresses/altering and made me feel comfortable. She recommended several fittings prior to my wedding date so that the dress was accurate to my size in case I lost or gained weight, and it was all included in her altering fee! I'll update my post after all the alterations are done and finished! UPDATE: so my wedding was in December in Mexico and I had a blast. The wedding dress came out AMAZING!! We were able to place wiring inside to give me a nice silhouette and keep it from falling since it was strapless (and naturally heavy). I will have to include photos of the dress. I bought it very big at a size 12, and it was reconstructed to a size 4! Ironically my friends wife had the same dress and she went back to the store where we both purchased the dress and was told they could not go smaller (since it was big as well). Hers ended up being slightly big and not form fitting on her wedding day, I'm so glad I went to Claudia!! She works magic!! read more
