Wayne had to disassemble the frame and wrap every part of the frame in padding before reupholstering in a beautiful ultra-suede. He then edged it with beautiful french stitching and attached buttons up the back for an entirely different look. Several months later I went back to them after I contacted four different custom furniture makers about building a custom platform bed. None were able to come up with a design that worked. Within only one short meeting Wayne and Lori understood exactly what I was looking for and in 6 weeks I had a platform bed that was not only beautiful but with a base that provides the support for one of the most comfortable sleeps I have ever had. In addition to their unparalleled design skill and expertise, they are incredibly nice and easy to work with. And talk about honest....realizing she had mistakenly applied the higher 2023 sales tax when she invoiced me in early January Lori sent me a check for the difference versus the lower 2024 sales tax! Based on on-line recommendations, I used Liliana for two projects in Feb-March 2018…read more First, I needed a sheer drapery to cover a sliding glass door so that the sun did not make it impossible to use my computer in the morning. It was a tricky place to install a drapery rod and involved screwing a ceiling rod into the bottom of a narrow channel in the hurricane shade housing at the top of the door. Liliana came to measure and figure out how to do this job. She recommended tiny pinch pleats instead of the style I had originally envisioned, and she left several books of samples so that I could see the fabrics in different lights throughout the day. I ordered the drapery on Jan 31 and Liliana's excellent installer hung it two weeks later. It doesn't get much better than that. So then when it became clear that we could not find suitable "sleeper chairs" to replace the two we had in our TV / guest room, we decided to reupholster even though the cost would be the same as buying new. Great decision. Liliana came to measure and brought many books of fabric choices. We ordered the fabric on February 14, and as soon as it arrived, the sofas were picked up. They were returned exactly a month later and look great. Better quality of sofa-bed and fabric than we saw in the various lower-end furniture stores and less expensive than the high-end versions. She works from a tiny little place on Trade Center Way. Very efficient. Good communications throughout -- email, telephone, voice mail, texting. Terms are half to start, and half upon completion. Next time we have a project, we will go to Liliana.

I do wish they had their prices listed (unless I missed it). It's pretty much the people in the front ask the seamstress in the back room what should be charged. I thought what I was charged was high, but I needed the skirt shortened for an event. They have fitting rooms for you to try on your item before and after alterations. Despite the cost, I'm happy I found this place!
