I took a pair of Steve Madden unique wedge heels to be re-leathered in 3wk of October 2025. The owner assured me he could do this in black leather but it might take a little time I said how much time a month? He said yes. We agreed on a cost of $150. And he said he would call when the shoes were done. I never received a call so I called in early December. The shoes were not done. He promised to have them done before Christmas. When I called on December 17, the shoes were still not done and I was leaving to go out of town when I came back in January. I called and I was told the owner was on vacation until January 12. So I went back into the shop on January 14 like the other reviewer said he could not find the shoes!! it took 15 to 20 minutes to find the shoes they were completely disassembled and they looked navy blue not black as I had given him. I was shocked!!! then he told me to try to put them on my foot. I could not even get my foot inside because his "prototype" that he turned my shoe into would not even fit on my foot. He said he would have to rework it and to give him two weeks and and he would call me when the shoes were done.... Guess what he never called!! Finally, my husband and I went in to the store in early March. The shoes were still not done and this time he told me he couldn't do the shoes. He did not give me the shoes back or offer to pay for them. He went and hid in the back while the young man out front had to take the heat. The shoes are completely ruined like the other reviewer said. I don't know what has happened to this place or this owner but I used to take all of my shoes here. I'm writing this review because I don't have the shoes and no compensation for it. Sometimes you have to admit when it's time to retire and close the doors instead of giving poor service and promises you cannot meet. IMO stay away from this business. Zero stars. read more

We received unparallelled customer service and true craftsmanship from the young man Nimo! My dad was in town visiting from California and his decade old leather sandals were on their last legs. He said he can't find a "cobbler" where he lives so he was going to buy new ones and throw the sandals out. I told him we should try Master Shoe Repair, as I'd had many leather shoes bought at consignment stores restored practically back to new. The catch was that he was leaving the next day, so we planned for me to mail them back to him if they could be fixed. We were so thrilled that Nimo said not only that he thought he could restore the sandals, he said he could help us out by having them the next day. We came back the next morning and they looked FANTASTIC! My Dad was so happy to have his trusty sandals back in operation. Will definitely bring all my shoes to Nimo and recommend you do the same! read more

Poor inventory could not find order for 1/2 hour, a mess in work area. Won't go back, looking for better alternatives

I took my heels to have the little plastic heel at the bottom replaced. When I went to pick them up, the surface of both heels were all scratched up and scraped off. They were totally ruined! Absolute trash! He said my shoes were cheap. He said he's been doing this for 42 years and it was my fault. I could have lived with a heel that was a little worn down but I definitely won't wear a pair of shoes that looks like they've been dragged through the gutter. I am heartbroken. Not only were the shoes pretty, they were comfortable, which is so hard to find. read more

Completely unprofessional and rude! I lost my ticket and was told before he even looked for my shoes that basically if I don't have a ticket I have no proof that I brought anything in for repair, however they have the other half of that ticket apparently I guess portion is useless. Of course in his words why am I getting upset over $600 dollar shoes that according to him means nothing... Well after much back and forth he finally found my insignificant shoes and I warn others to be very careful with this store and it's employees. They deserve zero stars in my opinion. read more

I was never more disappointed in a company than this one. My suggestion is to NEVER pay up front. They had me pay close to $30 to repair two shoes and when I picked them up, they did NOT do what I requested. They kept the two pairs to "refix" them, along with a third pair. When I picked them up they charged me an ADDITIONAL $45 and STILL didn't do what I asked initially. I decided this review will hopefully make someone else NEVER pay ahead of time or get everything in WRITING. Otherwise, you could be charged nearly $75 and not get what you asked to be repaired. I have NEVER had an experience like this one. My repair request wasn't difficult and I was told it could be done. Also, one thing they DID on the second attempt looked cheap. I ALMOST just left the three pairs there but never wanted to come back again so I paid and I'm sure he knew I would never go there again. I never had this issue at Vic's but thought this place was closer. NEVER had this happen with Vic's so I will never go to Master Shoe Repair again. This is the best shoe repair shop in all of Naples. I have two pair of shoes I really love but were on their way out. The soles were worn and the shoes were in bad shape. I brought them to him and he turned them into brand new shoes. The cost was minimal and I am very happy with him. read more

If one star is the lowest, that is my rating. He charged $8 to put about 5 stitches in a small strap. He did not tell me I had to have my ticket to get the shoes. When I didn't have it, he said it would take him an hour to find them. I came back 24 hours later and he still didn't have them. It took him about 3 minutes to find them and he was really ugly about the whole thing. read more

Master for sure. He has 45 years experience. Taught by a pro. I asked him for a certain podiatic fixture and he asked me to describe to him my problem. He recommended something different and customized the fit to my shoes with no extra charge besides the hardware. I've had three foot surgeries on each foot and was beginning to experience more pain. I know my foot Dr would love to operate again. People in our walking club mentioned they had shoes to pick up there. I thought the mega overpriced "family" place in downtown Naples was the only competent place. I took two pairs of Joseph Banks shoes and $500 leather boots to him for maintenance. A beautiful job, while I waited and very reasonably prices. I think they're pretty standard fees. English is not his first language but his foot care knowledge and craftsmanship are phenominal. I highly recommend this place. If he uses staples rather than nails for some things it is probably because they work best. I've been meaning to stop by and let him know the left foot was 90 % pain free after one week and the rt foot ~70%. Today, two weeks I barely notice anything in my left foot and the right foot is ~90 % better, pain free! This guy deserves my business. And I deserve his expertise. read more

Poor quality workmanship. They use staples instead of nails to attach new heel tips. They do not have the machine that other cobblers have that put the nails in. read more
