We took our Mercedes in to have the convertible top repaired. There was a small rip, and we knew it would only get bigger if we didn't get it repaired. Ted & Son in Naples said they could fix the rip on our black rag top and when we picked it up it looked fine at first glance. We were leaving town & in a hurry to get the car garaged & undercover while we went "up north." We came back to Naples & discovered that our black top had been sewn together with thick white thread. We called to ask what had happened and a woman told us that it was our fault. She said the thread was white because we took the car to a car wash & that the car wash had changed the color of the thread. Unbelievable. One year later, and the rip is huge now. We've been advised by the Naples Mercedes dealership that we need a new roof, they can't repair ours because "no one would touch a roof" like that after our botched "repair." Lastly, our beige leather interior was smudged beyond belief with some kind of black tar-like substance-inside doors, driver's seat, door handles-even the seatbelt. RUN away from Ted & Son if you need a convertible top fixed. We wasted a lot of money & hope that you won't too.

We had a leaking convertable top around the rear window. They repaired the leaking area at a fair price and returned the car on schedule.

However, what Jeff and his team provide is truly amazing utilizing the best of replacement parts and third party engineering firms that provide everything from twenty first century chassis, front and rear ends , as well as high performance engine builds. After being in Naples for 5 years, didn't know where to take the car but needed the power steering replaced and the AC converted to 134R. Looked around and found BPR. Visited their shop and was impressed with the facility and the people. Made an appointment and took the car in and had the work done. A couple of weeks later I picked up the car and was pleased with the work. Drove the car about five miles and it stuttered and stalled several times. Finally made it home and called Brett who immediately said that he would have a flatbed pick up the car. A few days went by, and I visited the shop and both Brett and Jeff explained that the original carb needed to be rebuilt and that there were other issues but that they needed time to pinpoint the issues. About a month went by and I picked up the car. Jeff explained that several wrong parts had been installed by my mechanic in Chicago and that the coil was bad along with a few other items. He then took me out for a ride in the car, and I have to say, it's never ran as good as it does now. It's got the get up and go that I have never experienced since owning the car. The car idles smoothly and drives really, really great. If you are looking for a shop to work on your classic, BPR is the BEST. They are not the fastest, but they are VERY knowledgeable, honest, and fairly priced.

After finally securing a time, I was told I never had an appointment in the first place. When the exhaust work was eventually completed, I spent around $2,200 expecting quality workmanship and professional service. About a year and a half to two years later, the X-pipe failed and blew out. When I reached out about the issue, I was told the only options were to "Jerry rig" it or pay additional money to have it repaired properly. To make matters worse, I pointed out that some pieces that should have been installed were missing, and instead of taking responsibility, I was blamed for not checking myself. On top of all that, when I showed up, I was greeted with the comment "this fucking guy," which was extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. Overall, the customer service, accountability, and professionalism were disappointing. For the amount charged, I expected much better treatment and workmanship.

I've been trying to call him to make sure he remembers what was damaged in the accident, but this imbecile gets upset. It takes a tantrum and should not be in business. He cannot handle the business. He doesn't know how to conduct himself in business, and he puts people in a very bad situation after meeting with this person is quite obvious. Vehicle in primer/sealer photo and "we'll work day/night to make deadline mesages received. No photos of body stripped. -I contact Zoran after Thanksgiving informing him i'll be by to pick up the new rear end and assemble it to save them time. December 15 promise completion date message received. I messaged "is there anything else I can do to help this along, also to assure no corners are cut meeting December 15 completion promise"? Messaged received "I will ask for assistance if needed. We are a professional restoration shop, we do not cut corners". -December 15, 2022 ---concerns growing as second promise by date broken. Shop now closed until after New Year. -January 11, 2023 I stop in at Zoran's shop and am told by employee(s) "zoran's never here etc etc...". Employee informed me additional metal needed, hasn't been ordered. I contact Zoran and offer to order needed metal understanding additional metal was to be replaced without cost per contract and Zoran's word on scheduled inspection/pick up date. On inspection I suggested we remove carpet to inspect. Zoran knocked on floor front/back and stated "it may need a patch or two but anymore metal needed will be covered". -Later January I deliver $1k additional metal needed that was missed on inspection. (Floor pan and rear trunk metal). Zoran tells me "i'm back on your car all myself now. My employee isn't a painter, he's just a fabricator and i'm stepping in now". -Next shop visit I thank employee "Joe" for his hard work and ask if he'd help convert to electric windows after completion. Zoran, thinking we were talking about him, gets belligerent with me threatening his 2 empolyees employment. This took place in front of one of the employees younger son. -Here is where bad goes to worse. I then told his employees "I can't believe neither of you punched him in the mouth talking to you guys like that, especially in front of your son"..."if you find youselves out of work call me". Zoran's next day response... a "change order" invoice for nearly $6K additional referencing the added sheet metal, labor and materials. Remember, I asked Zoran in writing if I should order the metal, and he approved. I questioned the additional invoice, and requested a final accurate completion date. I was told "we have NEVER had a timeline for this car and your car won't be touched until your "change order" is paid.... both verbally, and in writing. -I still wanted him to paint it....but I want the car back more. After further discussion, Zoran lowers the invoice approximately what I paid for the metal, yet insists I pay a $500 late charge on the unapproved/unknown "change order" and $4721 for added labor. Reluctantly, I pay the additional unapproved "change order", Zoran makes a plan to return car to me scheduled 3pm March 22, 2023 and then pick it back up April 17 - April 28, 2023 for final paint and return vehicle.
