To start off with my terrible experience, none of the ladies knew very well english, she did something COMPLETELY different than what i asked for. i asked them a simple question and they all started being snappy and having attitude to me and my daughter, next thing i knew i had 3 ladies yelling in my ears because i asked the price for acrylic nails. not to mention this place was EXTREMELEY dirty, i saw multiple dead roaches and palmetto bugs on the floor. and my nails looked extremely sloppy, she did "french tips" and the white took up half of my nails. and obviously i was unhappy, so i told her nicely to restart on the french tips and all of the sudden she took out a file and removed all my nail polish. and proceded to restart my WHOLE set with the same exact thing i didnt want, in which i tried stopping her multiple times but she didnt listen and kept going on with the nails. and another thing all the tools they where using where completley trashed, everything was dirty. To end this off this place is terrible, this was only my 2nd time getting my nails done and i think this will be my last. if your trying to get your nails done for the first time DO NOT COME HERE!!! this will be your first heartbreak!! the staff are rude, the service is terrible let alone my nails are brittle and breaking. My mother and I went here to get a mani/pedi together. While we were already waiting, the employee keeps telling people to wait when she should have told them to come back because there was clearly going to be a decent wait. The woman continued to take in walk ins while also having appointments scheduled as well. The man was very rough with handling both my mother and I feet throughout the pedicure. It appears as if none of the instruments have been sterilized, the man clean the callus bar while my feet were in the water. For my manicure, the woman burned my nails numerous times due to keeping the file drill on the nail for too long. I asked for a almond shape, i don't know what shape I received but it's not almond. Went there today because I'm in Florida for the weekend for a funeral. Waited about half an hour, but I didn't have an appointment so I understand. When I go to sit down the woman kept asking if I wanted a gel manicure and I refused politely each time. I just wanted a basic manicure. However, I get my manicure and the woman literally took like 5 minutes to do it. No effort at all and it came out horrendous. She also kept making comments about my cuticles and was very negative. You wouldn't believe I got this done today but I took a picture. I also needed to get me eyebrows waxed and the woman burned me and rushed through that! I took a picture of my eye as well. Typical strip mall nail shop with mediocre service. Most of the polishes are old unless you want gel. I had a pedicure done and came back to have it redone. It looked as if I had an old pedicure that I tried to rehab. And after taking my money the first time, I had to wait half an hour to have someone argue with me about what was wrong with it, then tell me I messed it up. I received a full set acrylic and the lady I had didn't really listen to my wishes at all. I have to keep them short for work and it was like I wasn't allowed to until I finally kept pushing it. I asked for French which is fine but I wanted it done in gel, not done in the acrylic powder because it doesn't look clean with the acrylic method in my opinion, but again it was like I didn't know what I was talking about. I was right, there are smears from the white acrylic on the base of my nail. Additionally, my cuticles are bleeding on three of my fingers from how rough she was being with the drill, and you can see where the acrylic is lifting on almost all of them already. I honestly do not know where to start with this place and everything that happened while my mother in law and I were there. We each requested a manicure and a pedicure. Throughout the pedicure the gentleman working on my mother in laws feet was pretty rude in his tone of voice while commanding her to move her feet a certain way, and was also rough. The man that took care of me seemed to be doing a good job - but then I noticed he didn't paint several of my toenails fully. I mean who paints half of a toenail and doesn't think to themselves "maybe I should touch that up". He missed corners of my toenails to say the least. When they moved us to start the manicure same man worked in painting my nails didn't even give me a proper manicure. He barely touched up the cuticles, basically all he did properly was them file them down. While painting my nails he never cleaned up the mess on the sides of my nails. There is nail polish still dried on the sides of my nails. My mother in law and I noticed outside in the natural light how they looked and decided to go talk to them about a refund because it was such a bad job. They refused to give us the money back. We asked them very politely, and the gentleman that did my nails was yelling and saying that the only way he would give a refund by "policy" is if I allow him to fully take off the polish he put on my finger nails and toes. I was so taken back when he said let me take off polish and toe polish and then I'll give you back your money. I mean in what way was that going to give back to him, so he basically did a very crappy manicure and pedicure and the only way he was going to give me a refund is if he took off the polish he applied on my nails. I was completely floored. It's like me as a manager at a restaurant saying to my customer " I'll only give you a refund for the food/service you didn't like if you kindly give me back the food you ate off the dish you disliked" how does that make any reasonable sense?. He proceeded yelling in front of a customer he was working on ( no professionalism AT ALL). This place is the worst place and so wouldn't even give it a star rating at all. They don't treat their customers right, the tone and the way the talked to me was very rude. The older lady acts like she is doing a favor instead of getting paid to do a pedicure. She was on a call the entire time she did my pedicure, I didn't see any utensils that appeared to be sterilized, I had to go and she rudely told me I had to put the plastic "sandals" on a plastic bin and my toes weren't even dry yet. I told her "I am leaving and taking the sandals" and she gave me the most hateful look. If only the places in my howntown of Chicago were as wonderful as this one. I was on vacation in Cocoa Beach when I stopped here, and it was by far the best pedicure experience I've had. Cleanliness: This place was clean enough to put any germophobe at ease. The pedicure basins were thoroughly scrubbed after each use, and the tools were taken out of sterile single-use bags (you know, like at the dentist.) The decor was lovely too - tile instead of carpet (like some places will use to try to disguise errant nail clippings), lots of spa chairs, very bright. Quality.Longevity of Pedicure - I was surprised at how much attention I got. The mssage was nice and long, and they're really spot-on with what they're doing. I have a bit of a problem with heel calluses (I stand all day at my job) and he recognized this right away. My feet felt like I was a kid again. My nails are pretty short to begin with, so he offered to round the corners to make them look a little longer, rather than square them off like some places do automatically. The polish job was impeccable, too. Friendliness: The pedicurist who took care of me was great; if I could fly out there and kidnap him and bring him to Chicago I would (and this is saying a lot; out here, nail salons are a dime a dozen, and it's hard to find a pedicurist you really like). He was funny and talked to you rather than with the other pedicurists, The other people here are great, too. Everyone was nice, even the other customers! There was no wait, either; it seemed like a bit of a slow day for them. Overall, this is a great place with great people. If I lived in the area, I'd be a regular. I was in desperate need of a pedicure, and stopped a stranger in parking lot to ask for directions to a salon. Coincidentally, she was an off duty manicurist. Her shop was too booked for walk-ins, so she suggested I try this place. The salon is well decorated and full of spa chairs. I seemed to have caught them on a slower day, so I was in and out of there fairly quickly. They worked fast and did a marginally decent job, although if I were a local I'd hunt around for a better place to routinely patronize. I think they could work on their friendliness when greeting customers, but they seemed to also have a lot of regulars coming by. I will give them props, however, for being very clean - workers wore latex gloves and immediately cleaned the basins after each customer. read more

On the afternoon of Thursday, 10-28-2021, at approximately 1:00 PM, my daughter-in-law and I thought we would enjoy a relaxing manicure and pedicure. I am saddened to say that the experience was not as I anticipated. I perceived the gentleman who worked on my nails as having rude and rough mannerism. He shouted demands throughout the process and whispered to himself in his native language while squishing his lips together. He abruptly grabbed my hands and feet to position them. He never smiled and never interacted with me like a human being. My nails were of "fair" quality at the end . My daughter-in-law had a different gentleman work on her nails. I was appalled to learn that her experience was quite similar to my experience. Her nails were of "very, very poor" quality at the end (nail polish residue, missed area, bumps and clumps). We left the salon, talked about our experiences, looked at our nails in the sunlight, and decided to request a refund on her nails only. We re-entered the salon and kindly requested a refund. The gentleman who worked on my daughter-in-law's nails started shouting at us, abruptly got up from his chair where he was working on a customer, approached us, and loudly stated "I give you refund but I take off her nail polish first. You sit down. I take off her nail polish first. This is policy." He continually repeated himself. He called the owner on the cell phone and requested that I speak with the owner. The owner told me "I am owner. I make rules. You not in charge. You just customer. No refund unless we remove her nail polish. I am hanging up now. Good-bye." We did not permit anyone to remove her nail polish. We exited the store without the refund. I will NEVER recommend this salon to anyone. The Better Business Bureau and the Florida Salon Licensing Board will also be made aware of this disappointing experience. read more

I came in from out of town to visit my mom. I was very hesitant to try this location based off of the reviews. Against my better judgement I gave it a shot anyway. Upon initially entering the salon the people were not very pleasant. Starting with the receptionist who had a mean scowl on her face upon our arrival. As if she was mad we messed up their lunch hour. All in all my pedicure looked as though my 6 year old niece did it. My toe nails were cut at different angles and I had to have have the tech paint over toes that were completely missing polish. I've gone here twice and I only went back because my mom told me one specific woman was good. Unfortunately I didn't get her but got a thin guy with glasses who rolled his eyes when I told him I wanted my gel extensions off and just a regular gel on my natural nail. As he was using his filing machine, I had to point out twice that the tip was not fully off yet because I could still feel the hardness on my nail bed. Well he then said to me "if I keep going I'll shave your whole nail off" ...not really something someone wants to hear. After that he put my nails in acetone to soak for a bit and he went off somewhere and came back smelling like cigarettes as he's on his phone laughing at a video sitting right in front of me. He then cut me twice on my cuticles, one on my middle finger and one in my ring finger. Called to make appt for Mani/Pedi Mon-Wed special for daughter and myself. Was told they were "fitting" me in and verified special which included free parafin with the pedicar (tone was they were doing me BIG favor) and I thanked them and told them how much I appreciated. Called about 9am for 4:30 appt. When I got their acted like didn't know what I was talking about but took us right in (was basically empty), however daughter was over 10 minutes late and I apologized profusely but no one was there and was NOT busy. Once we got started daughters pedicurist had to do another job so she had to wait in the middle which was NO problem since she was late to begin so her fault. When pedicure done had to remind AGAIN we had the medi/pedi special (no parafin wax by the way but again we were late so figured might be reason). Was handed to woman sorting clippers. First thing she did she clipped all my 8 long nails shorter than the 2 short ones THAN said "make all even...(what was I supposed to say at that point??? so said ok but had NOT wanted them cut short). Used machine filer to do cuticles which I don't like and when tried to ask about she kept doing and said something about not hurting and changing the file so again just let it slide. When time to pay is when it got really good. She wrote up slip for $12 and I ONCE AGAIN said was doing the special and paying for myself and daughter. so after long discussion and arguing was given bill for $60 ($30 each) added $9 tip for each of us and marked $6 for each pedicure and $3 for each manicure..... now I don't do this very often but figured 25% wasn't bad and pedicure was more work than simple manicure (I have natural nails no polish)..... IN FRONT OF ME the women started loudly saying NOT FAIR I WORK HARD and continued to complain with the rest of the works talking and laughing with each other. She then slapped one coat of clear on and said YOU DONE. So $78 later with nice pedicure and not so great manicure I get insulted on top of it all......
