Karen will try any design & has amazing customer service! Brought in an inspo picture & she took care of me. Drilled/ filed the under part of nail, so not a thick glob under, looks & feels natural!

I visited Classy recently after a previously great experience a few years ago. Unfortunately, this time around was much different than my first. My friend and I both got deluxe pedicures, and while the employees were friendly, they pedicures left much to be desired. The massage was very short and rushed (and when my friend asked for deeper pressure, the technician suggested she get acupuncture instead), our cuticles were not cleaned carefully, and our polish is quite frankly terrible. Not to mention that the price of this service has increased significantly in the last few years (~$45 vs $35 2 years ago). We were sadly very disappointed by this experience.

Please DO NOT go to this business! My sister and I both went and received pedicures. The next day we both had a severe rash on our calves, where the creams and lotions were used. The employees and owner of the salon have been sadly intolerable as I have sought resolution to this problem. When I asked for a refund and showed them the pictures of our legs, they denied that it was their fault. How else could this have happened?? When I asked for a list of the creams and lotions they used in the pedicures, they denied me. I told them that my sister and I might need to go to the doctor, and that I needed the list for medical reasons. Again, they said no. What are they trying to hide? Regarding the refund, which I ultimately did NOT receive, they wanted me to sign a legal contract, provide copies of my and my sister's drivers license, and then they would refund in cash. I felt very uncomfortable with both the contract and cash payment, as I had paid with my credit card, and have never needed to sign any legal document when receiving a refund. They stood their ground and denied me the refund. Again, what are they hiding? Why is it so difficult to get a refund? Please do NOT go to this business. Their pedicures lead to rashes, they denied responsibility and withheld important information about the materials they used. This is not good business and I wouldn't want this to happen to anyone else. UPDATE: My sister called the salon to share of her experience (the rash) and ask for a refund and they literally laughed at her and said "no" multiple times. There was no care or compassion at all! Please do not give money to this business!

Every time I've come here, they emphasize service, comfort, and prioritize customer satisfaction. Today, I asked for some Halloween nails, and the tech did a great job, but she was unsatisfied with her work. She called in Karen: the lady that can do everything. Karen is the heartbeat of this place, and makes sure her customers are satisfied. No one leaves with a bad mani/pedi. Karen will make sure you look good, and goes above, and beyond to make your nails sparkle. I usually ask her to come up with something seasonal, and she never disappoints. Her designs are magic, and Karen does it all freehand. Truly, an artist! read more

I had been to Classy Nails pre-covid with good experiences but hadn't been in since February. Today I finally decided to stop by and I'm so glad I did! Immediately I was greeted when I walked in and saw that while there were a few other patrons there was ample space between them. I asked for a fill and was given a disposable apron and gloves so I could browse the colors. I was seated within 5 minutes with the lovely Karen. I had some inspiration from a photo on Insta but wanted it slightly different. Karen helped me figure out a plan, and walked me through every step. The end result is even better than what I had in mind! I really appreciate that Karen took her time with my nails and didn't rush at all. Overall it was a really lovely and relaxing experience, and I'll definitely be going back when it's time for a new fill! read more

So the pandemic was the only thing keeping me from going back for a couple months, other than that, I'm a regular. When they opened up again, I was there ASAP. I had been doing my own nails, atrociously I might add and as long as could get my nails done and get waxed when needed, the pandemic seemed much less.. suffocating. Karen, her coworkers as well as her family all worked hard to make the salon covid-safe and then delivered the same great quality of service as before. I've been going every 2-3 weeks since they reopened and it continues to be be one of highlights of my month. Karen is the one coming up with designs and ideas for my nails now, I just choose the color and let her work her magic. I don't mind my nails being the canvas or even the guinea pig for her creations, I just get to relax in bliss. read more

Highlights: Quick, Clean, Friendly, Good Pricing, Responsive, No Wait, Didn't Over-File! Services: Dip Removal, Acrylic Full Set, Eyebrow Wax In-Depth: I've been on the hunt for a good nail salon for a few years (not sure about you, but I'm loyal once I find the right fit) and have finally found it! I called and set an appointment for 15 minutes, got there and didn't wait at all. Karen was the person who helped me and was so friendly and great the whole time! I'm very picky about my eyebrows, and Karen is literally the best person I've found in years! Not an exaggeration, and the photos don't do it justice at all. My nails came out exactly how I wanted them to and Karen was so quick. A huge pet peeve is over-filing nails and she didn't. I told her my nails have been filed down to almost nothing and she only filed for a second and very gently and that was all. I was in and out within an hour for all 3 services. I came here for an acrylic full set and it did not disappoint! All the ladies were friendly and the environment in the salon was super comfortable. I showed a photo of what I wanted and it was smooth sailing after that. For $55 it's more than worth the money. I definitely will be coming back! read more

My 2 family members and I wanted to get a pedicure today. This morning I requested an appointment on Yelp and within 20 minutes I had a reply asking if 12 was a good time. When we arrived we were greeted and asked to put on a apron and gloves in case we wanted to touch the nail polish bottles. We were also informed of their COVID policies and procedures. When we sat down we had a plexiglass separator along with a plastic pedicure tub protector. We felt safe and comfortable. Our pedicures were wonderful. They checked in with us often to make sure we were happy. Overall this was an amazing experience. This is now my go to nail salon in Portland read more

NEW SHELLAC AND FILL SET!! (Reddish with dark nail): I love coming here, and Anna is my official go-to nail technician she is such a perfectionist and it makes me feel so good every time I leave knowing my nails are even and the color is spot on it was $32 for a fill with shellac color on top and I got two things of tea and water as well while I was there I'll be back in a few weeks again!! Please visit Anna she is honestly amazing with her work! 2 week update: Honestly they still look and everyone else thinks so too!! I work in the food service industry, and I have slammed a fridge door on my nail, jammed it on a metal counter, and smacked them all around; the Shellac has NOT CHIPPED!! The nails haven't broken, and they still feel super strong. IM IN LOVE GUYS!!. I'll be back after pay-day Anna Update after a day:!! My man had a hard day so I rubbed his back with these and he passed out in a few minutes... so safe to say he loves them too!! So I came across this place because I originally went to a different nail salon and ended up leaving because they made me wait 30min past my appointment time. So I found classy nails and spa by chance! I made an appointment to get a pedicure with my boyfriend and came back for a manicure the next day! The ladies here are so sweet and their customer service is outstanding. You're offered a drink as soon as you come in and they all greet you with a smile. When I came back for my manicure Karen did my design. She didn't have exactly what I wanted as far as chrome colors but she was so accommodating and I love my nails!! Definitely recommend this little hole in the wall. read more

Worth every penny! When I walked into Classy Nails I was amazed at the customer service. They had a spa already set up for me (with liners). The place was very clean and had relaxing music on. Tracy was taking care of me and she would ask what I wanted and if I was okay with the water and so on. I selected the 2 spa pedicure along with a mimosa. The massage chairs were very comfortable. Tracy did a good job with my toes and gave a really good relaxing massage. You get a lot for $35! Where I used to go they would charge you an extra $5 for everything including the wax. So I'm glad I found a place that's pretty affordable with great staffing. Only minor is that they don't have a huge selection on regular polish but that's okay! I'll enjoy my new coat until the next one! Update. I tried out their spa #3. It was still good but I think you get the same experience as spa 2 just with more of a sugar scrub massage and a regular massage. So if you're feeling the splurge that day might as well upgrade to get a nice 20 min experience. read more

I love this place! So happy I found this adorable salon. The girls are so sweet and love the quality I get. Prices are fair and about average. They do try to up sell you! But I enjoy trying new things Quality - i had long acrylic full set with shellac for 3 weeks and NO BREAKAGE! I'm impressed with the quality and options at this salon. I hate to have to come in between manis for a repair. I also got a pedicure here and thought they did a fantastic job. Customer service - the ladies here are friendly, dedicated to giving you a quality service, and professional. You can have a beverage (read: mimosa) while you get your mani or pedi too. read more

A friend and I went here and both got shellac (gel) deluxe pedicures. The staff are friendly and want to go above and beyond for you. They gave excellent massages and there's massage chairs as well. Everyone was on point with covid precautions. read more

Update! My sister and I went to get a mani pedi and ended up with what looks like a bacterial infection on our legs where they used towels to wrap our legs in. (My sister contacted her doctor and with reviewing it maybe a bacterial infection, and to come back if it doesn't go away or worsens). It has been a very stressful time trying to communicate with them and receive a refund. My sister had a couple of meetings with them to try to figure things out but at the end of it it was too difficult and frustrating and my sister never received a refund. When I tried to call they would push it off and I was unable to talk to anyone about my situation over the phone. I was finally able to get contact with them through email where I could find out more information to receive my refund (where in my previous review they had stated they can absolutely give me a refund I just needed to sign a release form) but that is not true, it took many emails but they finally sent their policy where it says all services are non-refundable. And if I wanted to possibly receive a refund I would need to open a dispute case, answering all these personal questions and then MAYBE receive a refund. At the end of it all my sister and I receive rashes that are still lingering on for over two weeks now, and no refund. read more

I've been coming here for a while now because they always do an exceptional job. Karen is the best at acrylics- sometimes I'm not able to come back for a fill for up to four weeks and my nails have never come off in the interim, or chipped. She truly takes pride in her work and it shows. Not only that but she's extremely time efficient which is great for my busy schedule. The salon meets all the health guidelines and is still my favorite go to place for nails in Portland. Thank you classy nails! read more
