The next day, I found it in the street, the ring having slipped off my finger. It had been run over by my car and smashed. Today, I finally took it in to see what could be done. I was told there was a good chance the stone could crack due to the heat necessary for repairing the band. But, it didn't. This ring is now just like it was. It holds many memories for me and I'm eternally grateful for this skillful repair (same day and reasonable price, too!)
