It's how you deal with them that makes all the difference. If they had simply apologized and fixed their mistake, I wouldn't have to be writing this bad review.

Mauricio directed his staff and communicated with me on the progress of the work. I am so pleased with the final product that maintains the mid century style to make it aesthetically beautiful and also functional. May, 2026, I filed a suit in Small Claims Court. A judgement was entered against Chrisupholstery. Judge ruled. My $1,100 must be returned to me. July, 2026, they still refuse to abide by court's order. Next step, return to court. Initiate "Enforcement proceedings ." Sheriff will force them to obey court's order. But you will eventually get an estimate and your couch reupholstered to its former glory. I met Bill while walking in my old Forest Hills neighborhood and was taken back by the nostalgia of craftsmanship and a trade that we rarely see anymore. He was equal parts charm and charisma.
