Hired Luis to complete a full interior restoration on my 1966 Austin-Healey 3000, and…read moreunfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The work quality did not meet expectations--the black leather seats with white piping began to deteriorate within weeks, with stitching coming apart and materials appearing to be low quality. Communication was also an issue. After the work was done, Luis became unresponsive and did not return calls or address the concerns. The project was ultimately left in worse condition than when it started. I would not recommend based on my experience.

He then ordered the fabric which was special because of the width. We went for the full install. He said he would try to be done by the end of the day. He calls at 1pm and said he could not finish it because of the dynomatt. He did a terrible job including failing to cut out a vent. He did a poor job wrapping the material in the back. He only hung a few trim pieces to get it suspended but did a dangerous job on that since he failed to tighten bolts. He still charged the full install. They lost some trim pieces and clips. I now have to hunt a junk yard to find the trim pieces he lost.

I feel like I found a hidden gem with Richie's Restorations…read more After noticing the paint peeling on the roof of my BMW, I started looking for someone I could trust to diagnose the problem and provide an honest assessment. Richie took the time to thoroughly research the issue, explain what was happening, and walk me through my options. What impressed me most was that he actually encouraged me to get quotes from other shops before making a decision. From the beginning, Richie was upfront, honest, and transparent about pricing. He took his time with the repair and made sure the job was done right. The workmanship is phenomenal. The finished product exceeded my expectations, and my car looks fantastic. It's rare to find someone who takes this much pride in their work and treats customers with such integrity. I would trust Richie with any vehicle I own and highly recommend him to anyone looking for quality repairs and exceptional service. I'm grateful to have found him and can confidently say I now have my go-to shop for future repairs.
