Awesome experience! I contacted Corky about getting some basic maintenance done on my 2001 Yamaha…read moreVStar 650. I was especially interested in the DIY experience. I'm a long time mechanical tinkerer (is that a word?), and wanted to become more familiar with my bike. We set an appt. and I purchased the necessary parts at the local dealer. She arrived early and after a brief discussion of what we wanted to accomplish, she handed me a wrench and we got to work. She allowed me to do almost all of the work under her careful supervision. It was a fantastic learning experience. I loved the hands on, and now feel confident that i can tackle a few more jobs solo. I also know I can call her if I get stuck in the middle of something. Corky offers 3 styles/levels of service: DIY - You do as much hands-on as you feel comfortable with. Watch/Learn - Corky will perform the maintenance required and teach as she goes. You are welcome to grab a wrench and join in. Hands Off - If you don't like getting your hands dirty, let Corky do the dirty deed, and you can ride off into the sunset! What you need: A garage or safe (covered) place to work, a shop manual for your bike, and parts for the service. Corky will bring all the tools and knowledge. I highly recommend Corky's Motorcycle Service!!!

I must say the Corky will even go out of her way to help you search for a needed part, information, or even a hard to find service manual. I wish I could give this company 10 stars! Great, great, great customer service. I asked my hubby…read moreto get my 20+-year old Trex bike tuned up. I told him to not buy me a new bike, I just wanted My Bike tuned up. He went to Cycle Therapy. They sold him a new bike. (It was going to be about the same amount of money to buy a new bike as it would be to overhaul my old bike). Upon seeing my "new" bike I called the store and ended up talking to the owner Ric. I explained that I wanted my old bike back and tuned up. They still had it and Ric offered to allow me to return the new bike and that they would go ahead and overhaul my old bike for me. Chris and Chad did a GREAT job. I am so happy. But here is the best part... the customer service. All of the team members at Cycle Therapy were totally about making us happy. Honestly, I think they were trying to save my hubby money by selling him a new bike (did I say my Trex was old...it's super old). In the end, they overhauled My Bike for the same price as we had paid for the new bike (that might sound like a lot to pay for a tune up - it would be, but this was an Overhaul...as in darn near built me a new bike on my old frame....). All the while, the Team was sooooo accommodating, pleasant, (they could have turned their noses up at My Bike, but they just seemed to understand that I like my old bike) and they wanted to make it right for me in any way possible. I am in a front-facing customer service job myself and when I experience EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE, which is rare these days, I want to let the world know - so here it is! Support this shop and this team, you will enjoy the experience and the end product.
