OMG. I had no idea that this hidden gem was sitting here in Palo Alto. Well, at least I thought it…read morewas a hidden gem, but my mom told me they've been around and in business for many years. It was late on Friday night when my friend and I decided to look for a spa/massage. We came in around 11pm because we noticed they closed late at 12:30am. We had no reservations so many of the rooms were already booked or being cleaned, but we're lucky there was one room available. This room had a bed, a shower, and a hot tub, all for us to enjoy privately. We spent an hour in here and it was so special. I enjoyed a long shower with soap/shampoo/conditioner provided after a long soak in the hot tub. Next time, I will definitely book a massage, and a room with the cold plunge and sauna. It's my mom's birthday next week so I took the chance to book her a sauna/hot tub room and a massage to follow. I can't wait to come here again!!!

Expensive but was a delight coming here. The room we booked had a whirlpool bath -- watch your skin…read moreas it can be sharp but the roof top lighting was beautiful, a sauna with a shower which was freaking crazy hot, the water droplets felt dagger like. Showering cold felt so good though. My double edged sword was the cold plunge, kept rotating between the bath and the sauna and that and it was pretty extreme but worth it. Def coming back sometime. Gift shop in the front is nice and no bringing your own products in.

I had the best massage of my life here. I came in with severe (for me) hip pain and two days later,…read moreI was back to full mobility and no pain. My massage was administered by Rebecca and was the Neuromuscular booking. It was wildly relaxing and it was clear Rebecca was well versed in the techniques and eliminating blockages in the muscles. This is from the website and Id say it was executed to a T. The practitioner targets slow, deep pressure, motion, and traction to promote release and to retrain the neuromuscular circuits into a new healthy pattern. What makes neuromassage unique is the pattern, sequence, intent, and application of the strokes as they relate to the neuromuscular connection. Neuromassage is especially helpful for clients who suffer from chronic pain or anxiety. This is very much a medicinal space so there really aren't any vibes or spa like amenities and the therapists just wear street clothes vs scrubs or uniforms. Its an older space and just one hall with rooms off the center. If youre looking for a highly trained massage therapist and there for a real health concern, I could not recommend it more.

One star. Tried to book a massage and got a magic trick instead…read more My scapular was so locked up I'm turning my whole body just to check my blind spot. I find a great masseuse online, the one the reviews swear by, and she has an opening slot. I log in to grab the slot and poof. Gone. David Copperfield couldn't have done it cleaner. I call. "Computer glitch," they say. "We'll call you right back." Forty-five minutes later I'm still staring at my phone. Never rang. Meanwhile, the masseuse is still showing available. So who's lying? Then comes the pivot. "How about someone else?" Different therapist, less experience, not the same background. I say thanks, but I came for a particular masseuse. Now they want to know why. Why do I want the person I picked out and your own site says is available ? Because that's how booking works. The whole thing felt off, like there was a real reason I wasn't getting. I called to get the knots out and hung up with new ones. Pro tip: if your website says someone's available, maybe let people book her. Wild concept.

I had booked lymphatic massage with Jane's Therapy after seeing great reviews about her massages…read more I received reminder via text message which was helpful. She's operating out of her home in Santa Clara. Finding her place was easy- she also came to parking area to make sure I find the place. A few things that led to a meh experience- I have been to multiple places, including some who operate out of home, so naturally I'm comparing against those. This one felt weird. 1. The table is set up in the living room with one divider to cover shorter side (head) only, so the table is exposed in the longer side and quite open, with almost zero privacy. 2. Communication: I was expecting lymphatic massage but she suggested lymphatic is not good as it is very mild. Instead she would do a combination of lymphatic and will use pressure points. She kept pushing for it so I reluctantly agreed. During the massage she checked a couple of times about pressure, which was good. However the massage itself was just okay. Towards end of the massage she said her fingers hurt because she had to massage using fingers vs elbow. And she asked if I still wanted lymphatic but we are already at one hour at that point - that felt very off and weird. I declined because I didn't know if that would mean extra cost or not. It was also weird that she rolled her eyes as it to indicate it's a burden for her. The bed was warm but room was cold, with sofa and all open mess around. Overall it was pretty bad experience. It could be because she operated out of her home, but it was weird.

She was awesome. Worked on my back. Got the knots out very helpful right amount of pressure felt…read moregreat the next day.
